(Echt)paren Netherlands, 28 juli 2012	leuk gezellig hotel met een glimlach practisch op het strand, zeer comfortabele kamers, vriendelijk personeel 8 Weinig kamers (8), maar die er zijn zijn prima. Tegenover een duikcentrum, de gehele dag reuring. Wel gezellig. Zeer centraal gelegen. Hotel kenmerken tip: In eerste instantie moeilijk te vinden, maar eenmaal daar prima. Niet geschikt voor grote gezelschappen, daarvoor te weinig kamers.

Waterkoker en instant coffee, thee op de kamer en minibar. Gratis waterflesjes. Niet veel te doen 's avonds in de omgeving. Bar van dit complex is het meest in trek. Wel genoeg restaurants het strand om lekker te eten. Veel duikers. Sightseeing/attracties tip: Chocolate mountains Bohol. Rivercruise Lohoc erg commercieel en stelt niet veel voor.

Close proximity to the beach, great food, friendly and attentive staff 10 Our family immensely enjoyed our stay at Alona Vida Beach Resort. The room we stayed in was comfortable, the bathroom was satisfactory. The housekeeper made sure it was cleaned every day during our 4-day stay there and we were given fresh towels on a daily basis as well. The food may be a bit pricey but the taste and portion justify the cost. My kids loved that the swimming pool, although small,was just a few steps away from the room. We loved that we could eat breakfast right on the beach. One area for improvement would be the shower curtains in the room. Longer curtains will help lessen splash of water outside the shower area.

(Echt)paren Australia, 18 april 2013	The hotel is in a good location Close to the ocean and there is a dive shop attached if you are into diving. 6 This hotel is right on the beach however on arrival we had to drag our cases through various restaurants for about 200 meters to get to the hotel as there is no drop off close to it. The menu is typical beach BBQ like the rest however I would expect my fish to be scaled before it comes to the table!! Breakfast is 3 set menus and when I asked for a fruit platter which is on their menu they could not accommodate that - noting but the set menu which is not particularly a healthy breakfast so we did not eat there again. The rooms were nice and the cleaning staff were friendly however the front desk reception staff were very disinterested in assisting too much. We had to ask for someone to come to do a room orientation eg. how the safe works - no instructions there!!

Good location 7 We were pretty happy with the location of the hotel as it was very near to the beach and stores. We liked the space of the room and it was very clean. However, the superior room could use a bigger air conditioner since it took quite a while to make the room cool. Their food was a bit pricey for it's taste. We ordered buttered shrimp from the grill and it lacked the taste of garlic and butter. Their shakes were great though. I loved their choco banana and strawberry vanilla milkshake. Overall, a good experience.
