Though, if you are not looking to go to Phi Phi to party Long Beach is the place to stay. I would recommend this hotel if you don't mind a simple hotel. You find breakfast at the hotel next door and you will be sitting right on the beach.

The trip to the main area on the island by water taxi was not that long. The deluxe rooms I believe were a bit to far back from the beach. Night life around the resort is virtually non existent, which is fine if you are after quiet. All in all we enjoyed a very nice 2 nights at the resort.

It is overpriced and the rooms are old and not well maintained. The worst thing about the hotel , and always a recurrent theme on the reviews that I should have read before booking is the cold, unfriendly and rude staff, mainly the lady at reception who is so abrupt and obviously not interested in your well being or comfort but more into how to make more money out of you. The room is furnished with old furniture and not well maintained. Towels are dirty and smelly. The idea of their continental breakfast is one coffee, one very small juice, 3 small pieces of fruit and a pancake. The pictures on the website are so dated and don't look like anything in real life. Nearby resorts are equally well situated and much nicer inside for exactly same price and often cheaper. Don't book if you don't want to be disappointed. Sightseeing/attracties tip: Don't let yourself talked into buying taxy boat rides, excursions, snorkelling trips or equipment from the hotel reception as all of these can be purchased half the price only a few meters down the beach or in town.

(Echt)paren Poland, 20 februari 2013	Ripp off with unpleasant atmosphere Good location on Long Beach 4 Stay in Long Beach area is generally expensive but in other resorts you see what you pay for. In PP Blue Sky you pay the same but you get close to nothing. Rooms are very basic and old - there has been no refurbishment for years. Staff was unpleasant and not flexible at all. They refused breakfast even if we said in advance we will be 30mins late. Breakfast is small and not good. It also is the ONLY hotel that does not pick you up from the pier and you must pay for yourself. The owner only takes care of selling you more stuff (private boat, internet, transfer to pier) and does not help in any case. Our advice: pay even 1000THB extra but choose other place. There are many hotels in the area where you pay 200THB more but get better rooms, good breakfast, pool etc. Restaurant tip: Great restaurant next door in Paradise Pearl resort

However for the location of the hotel was the best. Close to most bars and restaurants. Uitgaansleven tip: Go to the restaurants by the pier, they usually have a fire show and decent prices for drinks. Great place to wind down.

The bungalows were clean and comfortable. location was very good but can very costly if you want to travel into town regularly. Not much choice for food on this location.Over all our stay was very relaxing.

On a nice beach 7,7 friendly small resort, reasonable room for price, free breakfast cooked to order. there is no pool but it is on a nice clean beach with clear blue water, only 10 mins from the peir on a long tail boat. long beach is a lot quiter than the beaches by the peir. i strongly recommend this beach for couples. Sightseeing/attracties tip: Phi phi is a very busy island, so be ready for lots of people and some very loud bars, but its a must do island in my eyes!

Groepen United States of America, 5 januari 2013	Great for Long Beach Away from the centre of town 7,3 The location is great for phi phi if you choose not to be in the centre of town. long beach is the proper beach of phi phi, the other two are filled with beer cans and garbage. It was the perfect place for a traquill night and is the ultimate for a great sunset.

Water taxi or jungle trek to civilisation. Pain 4 average at best. miles away from anywhere slightly lively. lots and lots of couples. bungalows were ok. lady owner helpful enough
