Gezinnen met oudere kinderen Netherlands, 12 augustus 2012	Sfeervol en behulpzaam Mooie authentieke ambience direct aan het strand zonder de drukte van phuket. 9,3 Comfortabel met airco, buitenbadkamer is leuk. Het zwembad is lekker koel. Er is overal veel schaduw. De prijzen van eten en drankjes zij ong. 3x de prijs in vergelijking met phuket. Sightseeing/attracties tip: Om de hoek, richting pier. Is een cola-tentje met een aardige visser die je voor een beperkt bedrag naar coral- island, of elders, brengt. ( en goedkoper is dan de Baan Mai longtailboat).
Jo V. (Echt)paren Netherlands, 25 februari 2012	unieke ervaring: top Prachtige ligging, heerlijk eten, alleen op de wereld. 9 Hebben er 3 nachten mogen slapen wat werkelijk prachtig was. Op het eiland wonen nog wat vissers maar je hebt echt het gevoel alleen te zitten op een onbewoond eiland, maar dan wel met heerlijk vers eten en zelfs (traag) wifi. Een aanrader voor iedereen, enige nadeel was het keiharde bed en de zandvlooien op het strand maar ik zou zo weer een keer gaan.

(Echt)paren Finland, 14 mei 2013	Relaxing and very quiet place to stay quiet, nature, wlan :D 6,7 Nice and quiet although the nature made a lot of noise but it can't be helped =) The first room has an ant nest so we got another room and it was ok. Bathroom is outside FYI. A lot of bugs and some mosquitos also but it's all ok. If you want to go to an island near Phuket but don't want to be to far away from the shopping of Phuket Town then this is your place. The sea is not very clear not on the North shore of this island at least so no snorkeling here.

(Echt)paren United Kingdom, 22 februari 2013	great location and service excellent food, great service 10 an excellent resort and well organised and run. plenty of room in the garden view bungalow with a clean bathroom and plenty of soap,toilet rolls, and towels. the food was first class and cookie was happy to show you her kitchen. trips to the mainland about 20 minutes away were free and organised by reception.swimming pool was clean and cool with lounger beds and parasols. breakfast was really good and plentiful, with the fresh fruit an ideal last course to the meal. after the breakfast there is no need to have lunch. you must have the chicken sate with peanut sauce - it's enough for 2 persons.we were visited by wild monkeys. the sea is ideal at high tide but it is rocky and pebbley at low tide but use the swinging hammocks right on the beach to relax and watch the sunset.plenty of beautiful shells to collect on the beach, and lots of burrowing crabsto watch. meal portions are big and good value so one portion could feed 2 people. Hotel kenmerken tip: mosquito nets cover the bed fully but take mosquito/tiger coils to keep mosquitos out of the bedroom and bathroom.if you intend to use the verandah in the evenings then put out the coils there.take beach shoes/flip flops to walk the beach at low tide

Sightseeing/attracties tip: Baanmai cottage is an ideal place for relaxing, for romantic stay.

Gezinnen met jonge kinderen Austria, 15 februari 2013	a few cottages on a lonely beach quietness, peace, no cars, slow tourism 8,7 originally we wanted to stay for 3 days only, we ended up 8… because of amazingly friendly staff, the peace and quietness. we looked for sth off the track, but still not wilderness, because of our baby, in case sth happened... beach is very shady and empty, food is excellent but overpriced. swimming no good cause at low tide too shallow. there are places to explore on the other side of island, with kaiak or trekking, we didn't make it, though ;) there are some friendly local people on the island, they have a generator in the evening but, which disturbs the peace a little. ferry with long boat a little adventurous, when waves and wind! bring mosquito repellent!

Because of peack season, 3 private bungalows changed to 2 rooms in big villa, my sister need lie on added small bed in the room with parents. Double check with hotel before your booking if they can provide the rooms you want. Anyway the lone island is so amazing quiet and surrounded by tropical trees, restaurant provide tasty breakfast and you can take free long tail boat trabsferring between island and chalong pier.Really like this small island, it is paradise! The beach is not good, with too many stones. But the pool is very good, my baby enjoyed swimming in the pool. You should have mental preparations that many insects are around you. Maybe a frog will jump out when you open toilet seat, and if the food is left on floor ants squadrons will come. Restaurant tip: Take free boat to Chalong pier, Kang Eyang@pier restaurant is very good. And you can buy everyday materials at 7-11 in pier.
