I believe its time the 5 star hotels stop exploiting exhorbitant WiFi charges. More so when the Wifi is slow and unreliable.

This hotel is a superb choice for its location. It is less than 10 mins' walk to the Grand Bazaar, and about 20 mins to the Hagia Sophia/Blue Mosque. Even a 55-year old like me found it easy to walk to those locations and a bit further,i.e to the Topkapi Palace. A tram stop is just outside the hotel if you wish to venture a bit further, such as to the Spice Market. The room is comfortable, though somewhat small (seems to be the standard in this part of the city). The only grouse I can think of would be the absence of free wifi. It is available at a charge of TRY25 for a 24-hour usage. Overall, however, we had a pleasant stay & would probably stay here again if we find ourselves back in this city.

Great stay. I spent the rest of my trip in a hotel that cost five times as much as this one and I preferred the Doubletree by Hilton Istanbul. I have already recommended it to two sets of friends visiting Istanbul in the next month.

Nice stay, nothing fancy, great location
Location was great, good restaurants, and great spa (messages, Turkish bath, etc.)

Although a nice hotel and great location it is old and feels older.
I would recommend but would also check-out some others close by (Crowne Plaza, etc).
All the towels were “ratty”, no robes, limited windows, internet cost too much, etc. This was not a 5 star, more like a good 3 star.
However, for the money, and the location, not a bad place to stay.

We stayed here for three nights. We paid around 200eur/night and stayed at deluxe-room. Hotel is in good location in old town and within walking distance to grand bazaar and sultanahmet area. Staff was polite and helpful. In my opinion the hotel was not worth the hight price. No free internet, no breakfast and while the room was modern and clean the windows was complete joke. No soundproofing whatsoever. You could hear people talking outside.

You will have it all, when you stay at this hotel

The hotel facility & services is excellent (from A to Z), from my first arrival (early check-in) with the warm choco-chip cookies (it is delicious) until my departure (early check-out) with easy-pack for breakfast "the sandwich is delicous" (as I could not take my breakfast-buffet). The location is very closed to many hotel attractions such as Grand Bazaar, Blue Mosque, etc), it can be reached by just walking.
A small tip for the hotel: if WiFi Facility can be offered as free (no charges) during the guest staying at the hotel. Where else other hotel is offering it.

Comfortable hotel near to Grand Bazaar

This hotel is in an ideal location for all the main sights in the old town area. The rooms are clean and furnished to a high standard. The beds are as comfortable as any we have ever slept in.
Staff are friendly and helpful. We would definitely use this hotel again.
Restaurant tip:
Breakfast at 55 lire seemed a bit steep: OK if the company is picking up the bill, but if you are paying your own way there are many cafes nearby who will provide you with a decent breakfast for a fraction of the cost.
