Good Budget priced accommodation

Homely, adequate well priced accommodation conveniently located on main road into Taree from the north, and close to shops, restaurants, sporting facilities. General cleanliness was OK however cobweby and dusty windows in both room and restaurant was disappointing. Most friendly management. The pool is attractive for the hot weather as was the adequate air conditioning. An attractive complimentary breakfast in the restaurant was an unexpected bonus for us. An easy walk down the street was a welcome relief after a day in the car.

I chose this hotel because it advertised 24 hour reception. It doesn't have 24 hour reception. Luckily I phoned ahead to say I'd be in late and they made alternative arrangements for me.
However the room was large and clean, and the Austar was a nice bonus.
The bathroom wasn't so great and there were loads of tiny insects crawling all over the basin. Had to make sure I kept all of my toiletries in the main room. For me, that's a dealbreaker.

I stayed here for business. Reasonably priced. Central location if working in Taree. Large room. Good tv. Older motel in need of a bit of tlc but fine for short stay. Staff were very friendly.
