superb, unique, outstanding customer service”
It was the best hotel ever, with great view and outstanding customer service. 4 rivers floating lodge is the hidden gem in cambodia. 2 hours flights , 4 hours drive, 40 minutes boat ride to this little paradise located right at tge river bend of tatai village ia a definite hit. Sleeping in a luxury tents on a river in the middle of rainforest is so Ritz-in-the jungle-thing. This place is for you, if you love waking up to the beautiful sunrise, love the sound of bird chirping, and dont mind sharing your night with fireflies and thousand others wildlife species. An amazing escape from the hustle and bustle.

Foating paradise”
From our private car ride from Phnom Penh to the Tatai Bridge, to our stay at 4 Rivers was truly a unique and memorable holiday, that we will treasure forever. The refreshing cold water and towels upon arrival, the tour around the resort and its facilities and the amazing tents were all part of our adventure here. We not only thoroughly enjoyed our stay but made some special friends along the way. We kayaked to the crystal clear water in the stream behind the village and bathed in the small waterfall. We saw fireflies in the evening boat tour and we visited the fishing village and experienced a local school first hand with the help of the wonderful and charming Sky. We visited the rushing Tatai waterfall and cooled off with a refreshing swim, a cold beer and lovely lunch. Anna, the owner spent time chatting to us about the beginnings of 4 Rivers and how the venture came about. Not only a wilderness resort with all the luxuries you would expect in a 5. Star hotel, but a business that genuinely seeks to improve the lives and education of the local people who inhabit the areas around the lodge. Please don't come for just one night, we stayed for four and wished it was longer.

Romanced And Recharged”
Fantastic Stay at 4 Rivers Floating Lodge. Lovely new floating tents at the opposite bank. Its a pity that your previous resort was washed away, but what you have now will surely continue to grow under the effort by your team. Had an awesome Wedding Anniversary trip with my wife, as we were pampered by your staff. Kudos to Anna, Paolo, Leap, Ravi and Lao for making our trip so memorable. Continue to spread the word about sustainable eco-tourism, as we continue to preserve bio diversity in the region. Thank you!

Absolutely wonderful!”
There are few places where you can fully disconnect from the outside world and immerse yourself in nature while at the same time enjoying the comfort and pampering of a luxury hotel floating on a beautiful and clean river. The 4 Rivers Lodge is a bit on the expensive side, but you certainly get what you pay for. You can experience it with a loved one as a romantic trip, as a fun trip with family or friends, or as an opportunity to decompress and relax away from the real world. I visited it during the low, rainy season and had a wonderful experience with intense tropical storms that alternate surprisingly quickly with beautiful sunny days/starry nights in a matter of hours. It was truly an unforgettable experience. I wish I could stay longer...

Our stay was simply perfect.Really hope to return!”
Cannot praise the service and staff enough!! When our bus arrived, a member of staff met us to escort us to the boat. The service the staff give is exceptional! Always smiling and nothing was too much trouble. Impeccable English skills. From the moment we were greeted we felt like part of their family. The area is stunning. Wonderful relaxing view and location. You can swim in the lake outside your private deck area (the review regarding the toilet being flushed directly into the water is false and misleading. There is a tank where the waste is flushed and broken down, and when in a natural Eco floating village, I'm not sure how people expect waste to be treated?) The water is clean and fresh! Kayaks are offered free of charge which allowed us to kayak around the entire island. It was so peaceful and remote. The food was good. We ordered room service for lunch, ate in the restaurant for dinner and again in the restaurant for breakfast. Couldn't complain about thing! A good selection so cater for everyone. The room is BEAUTIFUL! It's not like a tent at all. We have travelled a lot, but this is without a doubt one of the most stunning, professionally cleaned and styled rooms we have come across. Even the bathroom was picturesque! We even arranged a driver to take us on to Koh Kong the next morning and even that service was exceptional. Pristine car and a driver that drove us to various hotels of our choice until we settled on one, all the while smiling and chatting. I cannot recommend this place enough. It is expensive(ish), yes, but worth every penny. Thank you 4 rivers for our amazing stay! We hope to see you again. Laura and John (London)

An 'Oasis' on a River”
Loved it - its an amazing place ! A floating tented resort on the banks of the Tatai River. If it were an hotel it would be top of the range 4****. Sylvain, Adonis and the 'Team' are just fantastic hosts and go beyond the bounds of duty to make everybodys' stay truly memorable. Despite the unbelievable rain (monsoon season)which caused us to be moved out one night because of the risk of flooding we absolutely loved our stay there and despite its remoteness (far from the madding crowd)I would recommend it to anyone looking for a 'chill' factor and most definitely for romantic breaks

Something totally different in Cambodia”
This is a wonderful getaway for people who have done everything there is to do in Camodia, or who want to have a bit of luxury while being up close to the environment. The tents are incredible, floating on pontoons on the river. The staff are super friendly and the owners are so accommodating. When we arrived off the lodge boat we were greeted with cold towels and drinks. Having a kayak at your disposal is fabulous and being able to walk out of your tent and dip straight into the river is fun. And to think its all eco - freindly. We highly recommend this for people wanting to get away!

Luxury accomm at a stunning unique location”
This was by far one of the most unique and amazing trips I've ever had. I travel a lot around South East Asia but this was a location and accommodation type that I have not experienced before, and could never have imagined how amazing it would be. The location is stunning - on the Tatai River in the Cardamom Mountains, it is peaceful and relaxing and simply beautiful to be away from the city and in nature. The staff are extremely friendly and sweet - in particular, the assistant manager named Bun was possibly the sweetest lady ever! The food was also absolutely amazing, full of flavour, fresh and the standard that you would expect in a high class establishment.

amazing service for relaxation”
It's definitely different than any other place I've ever stayed at and I enjoyed it plenty. We literary stayed at this location just to try out the hotel and we didn't feel disappointed by it. The people here are all very friendly and being on the river the place is very clean. It's a place of relaxation with a change of view with a still quietness. Probably wouldn't recommend coming during the rainy season although it was a tranquil white noise. We couldn't do a lot of things due to the weather. We were pretty limited to seeing the village around the area and use of the kayak. We went to the waterfall, but couldn't get too close due to the weather and current of the river. The room is elegant and very comfortable. Just make sure you keep your tent zipped up at all times. I was there for about 3 days and ended up with at least 40 bites (i mean you are by the jungle). The shower took a while to warm up, but I still was impressed by the bathroom as a whole. It was all very clean. There is only one electrical outlet for use. The library was pretty helpful when we were lounging in between. Had a mild selection of hollywood action and romantic comedies, wished they had at least one horror film. They seemed to have an array of different books, but the guide books helped plan our next city. Food is alright, kinda simply made, but still enjoyable. My friend loved the chicken baguette and ordered it all the time at lunch. I'm sure if you wanted substitutes or had allergies they would be accommodating. The service is attentive and again courteous. It was reasonably price. My perspective may be skewed with NYC prices, but I thought it was still decent. Breakfast was delicious as well, never too heavy. The place is really high quality in decor and comfort and the service is what tops it all off. Really enjoyable.

Unique hotel concept in beautiful river location”
My partner and I wished we had booked another night as 1 night was not long enough to really enjoy this beautiful hotel (although you probably wouldn't to stay much longer than 3 or 4 nights). The rooms are of a high quality and have everything you need for a comfortable stay. The location on the river is pretty hard to beat with the sounds & sights of the river being the last and first thing you remember each day. The food was very tasty although we did think it was overpriced given the prices of everything else in Cambodia. Overall a really enjoyable and unique stay. We would definitely recommend this to others in search of something a little different!

Holiday in Paradise”
Perfect river island location for this special Cambodian (upmarket) boutique resort, which has been around for more than a decade. Close proximity to the modest Tatai Waterfall (inexpensive tours available) . In the middle of mangroves (Kayaks provided!), almost off the grid - weak phone and internet connectivity. Beware of mosquitos from sunset onwards. Attentive and friendly staff. Recommended: Book a tent directly on the water.

Beautiful eco-lodge with mint service”
We stayed at the 4 Rivers Floating Eco-lodge within the first few weeks of it opening and therefore it was expected that not all tents were yet completed and so some building and maintenance was still underway. Despite it all my family and I had an amazing time here. We loved every moment at the eco-lodge.

A pleasant stay”
My husband and I had a fantastic time at the 4 rivers floating lodge! Being nature lovers, we absolutely loved the location of this place. We had a great time going on the excursions and not to mention the great customer service we received during our stay there. This place is perfect if you wish to get away from the hustle and bustle of city life!

tranquillity”
getting to the 4 rivers floating hotel is not that easy but that is also one of its benefits. the floating tents are spacious and very comfortable. it is great to be in a place that is so surrounded by wilderness. you can hear birdsong all the time and watch fish swim by from your balcony. the staff are very accommodating and on a clear night the star gazing is amazing.

wonderful place”
In general great, beautiful place, nice environment. Like you can see in all pictures, in the middle of river, each room is a floating luxury tend. Dinner is set menu, 19$ + drinks, but is really good.

unique hotel experience in a fabulous location”
A wonderful retreat from the world for an "away from it all de-stress". Very quiet, tranquil and relaxing location, with only 12 super posh high-end glamping tents. Access to anywhere is by boat. Your 'swimming pool' is the river, which was very clean and calm, with access from each tent. Just watch the current. No issue with bugs. Rooms are very spacious and very clean, with full amenities, massive bathroom area, modern plumbing etc. Everything was very well maintained. Reasonable clothes storage. The food is very good, with a great range of Cambodian and Western choices. We enjoyed the excellent evening set menus. Recommend at least 3 nights, given the journey, to allow chill time. Very friendly, helpful and professional staff. Decent free wifi, patchy mobile + lockable cupboard as room safe + effective anti-mosi burner provided We loved the night time fire-fly spotting boat trip. Fabulous. Could perhaps have more wildlife / nature specific trips if possible ?

beautiful river views - ”
we had a lovely stay on the river, the tents are quite beautiful (apart from the hideous'shell' taps in the bathroom and the wine barrel shower which drained very slowly -took all night!what were they thinking?!)The food was fine, though limited choice- especially as there is no alternative. The manager Francois was ok, though dismissed us as not worth talking to, as we did not spend any extra money on his arranged tours .It was obvious that the staff were afraid of him and would not make eye contact with him for fear of reprimand, and they were all charming and trying incredibly hard.Apart from this, we did love being right on the river, it is exceptionally beautiful, unique and would recommend to others wanting a special time.
