Hotels with airport transfer in Manila

"We had a wonderful stay at Raffles Makati. I have stayed here a few times and no disappointment yet. The location is superb, centrally in Makati, next to all the shopping malls. Staff is great: friendly, open and pleasant, without being to pushy or being unnaturally friendly. The room (suite) is superb. Everything looks and feels new, certainly a change from most other high class hotels in Manila ... Breakfast good quality, the restaurant was a bit overcrowded during the Valentines weekend, as the restaurant is shared with the Fairmont hotel, but staff managed to handle. Recommended, if you are willing to pay the price, but having stayed in a few places, even when you pay similar in or around Manila, you won't get as good as an experience as in Raffles."

"this hotel gives very good value to its customers .the rooms are very clean and comfortable, and the service is very prompt if you find anything not quite right. the staff are very friendly and helpful , you only have to ask , and it is attended to right away .i have stayed there many times , and i would highly recommend staying there to anyone . there are good and bad hotels in manila, but book this one and you will not have any regrets . take it from a fussy Englishman. i travel all over the world , and this hotel gives very good value . i am more than happy to stay there whenever i go to manila . just one thing though , don't use the hotel taxi , it's expensive . "I have stayed here 3 or 4 times ... It is a wonderful hotel right across the street from Greenbelt Mall, which is also my favorite mall in Philippines with many good restaurants, bars and shops ... the staff is well-trained and friendly ... the hotel sparkles and the rooms are spacious with free mini bars ...I have stayed many times at Shangri La and several times at the Fairmont and Makati Diamond is by far the best value for upscale hotel in Manila... highly recommend"

"Stayed here for 1 night just because we have a stop over in manila for 10hrs overnight. They provide a free shuttle service to and from the airport (removes the hassle of dealing with taxis). The hotel was only a few minutes to and from the airport which gives us more sleeping time. Hotel and room itself was clean and comfortable (not 5 star, but certainly better than what we paid for). We have stayed in transit hotels near the airport in manila before, this one so far is the best one for the value you get and comfortability. We will definately be using this hotel again should the need arises in Manila. "

"As Manila is far from being a beautiful city, we decided to find a nice hotel. The district is not the best but the hotel is nice, Deluxe rooms are veeery big and comfortable, we enjoyed it enormously, we also enjoyed the swimming pool. Internet is a bit expensive and not very practical, as you have to pay for every device or use one at a time. For the facilities and the comfort, I would say this hotel is more 4-star than 3-star. The staff is nice but not very practical, everyone has to wait until 2 PM to check-in, so at that time the hotel is full of people, even families with children have to wait until that time. Things would be much better if all the burocracy is completed on your arrival and you are given the key at 2 PM instead of waiting until 2PM to start the whole process."

"Overall it was a good stay, if you are looking for a modern hotel with good amenities than you will get what you pay for in Solaire. Where they get in front of other Manila hotels is that they are the first large scale casino hotel in Manila that can hold its own with Vegas or Macau standards. While they may not do well in those places at least it has some grandoise to boast. We stayed at a club room with club access which offers much of the usual luxuries you would expect from Executive lounges (afternoon tea, cocktails, breakast, etc). That being said, I think they still fall short on maximising the strengths of the property. First off, their restaurant wing blocked a good number of the bay view rooms which kills a great opportunity to see the sunset of Manila Bay in many rooms. I also would not recommend this for families with kids as they have annoyingly strict rules for kids passing through the casinos (as if a 7 year old can slip a bet at the craps table under mommy's nose right?). Thus makes going around a bit of a hassle. And if that wasn't enough, they have one of the most unusual routes to the pool which is again located in a very restrictive area (feels like you can only access it via an emergency exit on the 3rd or 4th floor...and the pool is at the ground floor!) Overall I would recommend this for business travelers, as a conference venue, gaming enthusiast (large casino floor by Manila standards) and for its fine restaurants (we dined at Finestre which serves superb Italian while being surrounded with great digs - I heard tat steakhouse was good too). But give it a second thought if you want a family vacation."

"Overall, my wife and I enjoyed our stay at the Golden Phoenix Hotel. During our month long vacation in the Philippines, we went on several trips outside of Manila but always came back to stay at the Golden Phoenix Hotel for a total of four stays! I think that’s proof enough of how much we liked this hotel. The best part during each stay is the entire hotel staff. They are all so accommodating, friendly and always ready with a smile. The daily breakfast buffet is averaged with some variety but the service is great! Having the Sea Residences across the hotel, guests can avail themselves of the various restaurants, salons, Thai massage, laundry (really cheap!) and other services. Each time we checked in to the hotel, we’ve always been happy with the cleanliness of the rooms that we got. To top it off, this hotel is only a 10 minute walk to the Mall if Asia. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone."

"My Filipina girlfriend and I decided to book 6days in the Regency Grand Suite and hoped it would be perfect for my last weeks stay in the Philippines. We were NOT dissappointed! We were greeted by the friendlest receptionist called Joseph who did everything for us from check us in to fixing the WIFI connection :) from there the stay in the hotel just got better. The location is perfect if you want to be central to Malate and it's right next to the mall. We stayed on the 32nd floor so obviously it was very quiet if you wanted to get away from the nightlife. The gym and the pool (very cold water ha) were great perfect to sit beside and relax. There are plenty of lovely Asian restaurants next to the hotel and the hotel is only short drive (100php) from Markati and the Fort. The room (a suite) was perfect it had plenty of power points (universal for 3pin plugs) a kitchen area with a microwave, kettle and fridge perfect for making snacks. The shower room was cozy and modern (don't forget to switch on the water heater) and after switching the water heater on the hot rain shower was wonderful. The view was magnificent from the 32nd floor balcony viewing out onto Manila bay and the cities beyond. The bed is huge but the space around the bed is limited but never the less its very cozy and perfect for me and my filipina girlfriend. The room also had a very modern flat screen TV with satelite channels such as HBO and PBO and other filipino channels. In short our stay in the Regency Grand Suites was wonderful and we shall most certainly be booking to stay here again on my next holiday. Special thanks to Joseph on reception who was amazing at getting us settled and was so attentive throughout our stay there. Many Thanks to all the team."

"Most of our family occasions are celebrated by checking-in in a hotel. I am so happy that we had chosen Fairmont among other 5 star hotels in Manila to celebrate my husband's bday. Enjoyed their quick check in and check out with friendly and smiling staff ( Karen, Regina and Ian ). The best was the hotel's complementary greetings to my husband with a bottle of wine, cake, pica-pica and bday card. Indeed a 5 star hotel! 😘"
