4 star eco resort at 2 star price”
This was our first time to Koh Rong Island. As soon as we got to the island by speed boat, they already sent a small boat to pick us and took us further to the resort, which locates in one of the most beautiful beaches we knew, with white sand and crystal clear water. They took us and our luggage directly to our quiet tiki bungalow among the trees without bothered to check in at the reception, which they had none. They just took our passport and checked-in for us. The bungalow was spacious, clean, and comfortable. It is right next to the beach with a front porch furnished with a table and rattan papasan chairs. The food is amazing from around $3-$6 made to order to be served at their restaurant or at your front porch. The service is excellent. It was my wife's birthday, so they even helped us set up a table at the beach for our dinner. However, you got to live with mosquitos at night since it is on a wild island, and electricity is scarce since they use generator, so you only have a few hours of electricity a day. Of course, no phone, Internet, or TV service. You came here to get away from all of those. I believe this is just as good as any paradise resort like Fiji or Maldives for 1/10 of the price.

The perfect place to relax on Koh Rong Samloeum”
Natural Island Resort is the perfect beach-side getaway with a small number of rustic but perfectly comfortable bungalows offering extremely good value for money in one of the most idyllic spots along Saracen Bay. Friendly staff, good food and beautiful white sand made it very VERY hard to leave here!

Perfect resort for trip to K R Samloem”
1. when you call or email in advance, staff will come to pick up you at the pier free of charge. Inform them: boat name, time, date and pier name. 2. Great location, right in the center of bay to walk to other resorts, sightseeing places 3. The beach here is so beautiful 4. Room clean, even garden view is very close to the beach 5. Restaurent is one of the most attractive on the bay at night. Lots of Yellow lights make it stand out, guests from nearby also come to enjoy meals here. Their foods are very delicious ( both dinner and in room rate breakfast) 6. Staffs friendly, polite especially the boat man and the young man good at English. 7. wifi í ok enough to check mail, chat, facebook 8. I don't realise anytime there is no electricity. Peaceful stay with beach/bay view ”
Our stay here was pretty awesome. Staying at one of the bungalows with sea view nearest to the reception/restaurant area, we had access to wifi which is a big plus on the island. The rooms were clear comfortable and spacious, with a verandah facing the sea complete with lazy chairs. The bathroom was clean and ample toiletries was provided. The resort is located in the centre of Saracen bay and the hotel staff picks you up from the pier. Good location, near enough to walk to all the sightseeing spots along Saracen (lazy beach, Saracen beach, lighthouse). The staff were a little inattentive, often forgetting our drink/food orders. Other than that they were helpful with directions in getting around the island and ferry bookings.

Worth for staying with family”
Spacious, cleaness, and nice structure. Since this is the 2nd time I choose to stay here. There are more new bungalows in the garden which have even better the old others, especially is the electricity was through the night. Highly recommended for families or every one who need a space to rest and feel like being home. At the middle of Saracen bay so it's easy to access to Lazy Beach or any other restaurants.

Good with some cons .... ”
Good service, good food, best accommodation on Saracen Bay. Cons: We didn't like to see the hotel staff cutting the trees on the beach while we were having our breakfast.... That goes without saying enough tree has been cut on koh Rong & samloem since a year or 2... I really feel sad with the island development. Within 2 years plenty of bungalows have grow and some of them look terrible. They even built mini mart on Saracen Bay made with sheet metal. That should be forbidden . The beauty of those island should be preserved and respected.... But don't worry natural garden is not one of them. Happy with everything overall. Nature lovers: you're better stay in lazy beach on the other side of the island.

I found the price is quite reasonable for a big and clean bungalow. There was ant in bungalow but it was not big problem. We were on island. The resort is in Sacaren bay, 20 minutes walking from the pier. However, the hotel have free transit service by boat which is very nice. Just be careful that the staff would tell you the ferry would be late, no need to rush etc My ferry was on time. If i followed their drop off schedule, i would have missed my ferry then. There were welcome drink. Breakfast was juice, bread and egg. I ordered bbq seafood set for 2 people for dinner at 14usd and it was really good. Overall, we had a good stay there.

...i couldn't find anything to complain like others. The staff was lovely, helped us with the laundry, and all the managers were nice. Considering they are russians, of course they won't act with the same attitude like locals would. Maybe some customers got confused by that, but we enjoyed our stay there, even for 5 days. The resort is located on the main beach (not on sunset beach, like agoda claimed). We had a look to other resorts and found the price for ours (off season, 30$ garden view) very reasonable, since the breakfast was rich (if you order the omelette), the bungalows spacy, clean and good smelling, serviced 3 times in 5 nightes with good smelling towels...

We had a great holiday! The staff is extremely friendly, especially the boatman! Rooms are clean and neat, though a bit simple but I like it! Simple but delicious breakfast! We also had a very romantic and cute beach dinner! and just about 20m to go to the lazy beach..I will be back soon!

Very average ”
Basic bungalows with many gaps and holes in the floor/walls. Pros: relatively clean, good location, breakfast is ok, good (freezing) water pressure Cons: constant noise, wifi in the restaurant area only, lunch/dinner options are below average, uncomfortable lounge chairs The worst thing about this place is staff and general atmosphere. For some reason, they don't even bother to make you feel welcome on arrival or during your stay. The managers/hostesses have a weird system going on and are totally unapproachable. The waiters seem to be super tired and constantly unhappy. We didn't stay for dinner even once, think old russian dude playing his music loud in the restaurant.. It's ok if you are staying for a night or two and only if you get a good deal online. Otherwise, their neighbours Sweet Dreams offer fantastic hospitality and great bungalows for a very similar price.

Decent bungalows, managers could be nicer. ”
The bungalows are OK, good size, suits a family well. And there are great views to the beach. The local staff in the restaurant and around is also good, serviceminded and nice. But we could really not say the same about the "girls" running the place, which most of the times seems occupied on typing og the computer with a "i am not interested in you" look. We saved our final dinner for the restaurant they have, serving french food - wich was a disappointment. After waiting 1,5 hours on the food, all others tables served before even if coming in later (they obviously forgot our order even if we asked two times for it), we decided to skip dinner. The "russians" just shrugged their face and did not even offer an excuse. Just did not end well.... Natural Lodge is situated at Saracen beach, a good beach - but windy and a lot of trash in the ocean at times.

Good accommodation for our needs. Average price for the island ”
We found Natural Island as a good location and met our needs. Everything on the island is universal Cambodian expected prices especially the food. The food her was disappointing, small sizes and average in quality. We ate and spent most of pur time at the next door resort. The Khmer staff were good but a muted welcome from the more reserved manager who looked worried at any request. However was helpful when we wanted to move rooms away from the noisy generator. Be aware the next door resort is doing very noisy building work which at no fault of this resort means that once the generator goes off between 6am-7am the work starts! The electricity here is available around 5pm to 6am very common for accommodation on the islands. Wifi does not reach the rooms and obviously is only available when the power is on. Rooms clean and comfortable. Some bathrooms are very dark.

You feel like paradise! ”
The resort is wonderful: really clean, nice big bungalows made out of nice wood with an own beautiful bathroom. Breakfast is fine and also the other food is delicious and compared to the other restaurants at the Island quite "cheap". For sure it costs more than on the coast. The beach is amazing, white sand and crystal clear water. Only the Personal is sometimes a little bit slowly but here you are not on a rush anyway... ;-)

Simple stay”
The individual huts/bungalows are simple and clean with a fan and mosquito net. Toilet is clean but no hot water. Basic toiletries are available. Breakfast included and staff is quick to respond to questions. Only ten minutes walk from the pier. Staff will pick you up from the pier by boat if you prefer not to walk.

We arrived on a public holiday weekend which may have explained the price hike and terrible service. On the plus side location is good. If you are looking for somewhere simple and want to be left alone then this is your place. There are plenty of other places nearby which offer better value for money.
