Transfers from Velana International Airport:
The property can be reached by seaplane. Passengers can conveniently find our airport counter at Zone A - counter 16. Mandatory Return Seaplane Transfers will be collected from the guests directly at the following fees:
From June 19, 2025 to January 31, 2026 the charges are as follows: -USD 555 (return) per adult -USD 350 (return) per child (2-11 years old)
From February 01, 2026 onwards the charges are as follows. - Adult (12 years and above): USD 580 per person - Child (2–11 years): USD 365 per child This rate is not included in the booking price and will be charged additionally. Payment before arrival by bank transfer is required. The property will contact you after you book to provide instructions.

Due to tax regulations, all guests are committed to the green tax surcharge of USD 12 per person (excluding infants) will be collected by the property upon check-in. The baggage allowance for each guest is 20 kilograms (checked luggage) + 5 kilograms (hand luggage) and the seaplane company will levy a surcharge for excess luggage.

Seaplane transfers, arranged through a third-party provider, are available for flights landing between 06:00 AM and 03:30 PM. The journey includes a 45-minute seaplane ride followed by a 5-minute speedboat transfer to the resort or In Ocean Villas. While the resort assists in booking seaplane transfers, please note that the resort does not have control over scheduling and departure timings, which can be subject to changes due to weather conditions. Inform the property of your expected arrival time in advance via the Special Requests box or by contacting the property directly (details in your confirmation).

Guests must present a photo ID and credit card upon check-in. Special requests are subject to availability and may incur additional charges. Payment before arrival via bank transfer is required. The property will provide instructions after booking. Due to safety and privacy concerns, the operation of unmanned aerial systems or drones by any of the guests including model aircraft by recreational users and hobbyists is prohibited.

“Beautiful!”
Loved our recent stay! We stayed at InOcean villa which was stunning and comfortable with our 9 year old boy as well. Smooth pick up process from Male airport to our villa including seaplane ride was a big welcome feeling. Most of the staff were helpful and friendly, especially Irey(Iruffan) who made our villa spotless professionally and efficiently with a big smile everyday. He even ran to the reception on our check-out day to give us back what we accidently left behind - very nice genuine kindness and service minded. Ajija at Azzurro was good at small talk and made us feel comfortable and welcome, too. We would recommend Angsana Velavaru to our family and friends. Our boy just saw me writing this and said it was a cool place, Yes it truly was! We can't wait to go back!

“Bad choice”
The whole trip was not very satisfying. First, the seaplane time I requested is at noon on the 22nd, so that I can have a half-day tour of Male. As a result, I was arranged for an early morning seaplane. The hotel said that because the time of the seaplane is not under their control, and the time of the next day's seaplane will only be known after 6pm before 1 day .Second, I don’t know whether the lock of my luggage was broken by the seaplane staff or the resort staff. Anyway, the lock on my luggage was completely missing between the seaplane and check in the resort. Third. neither the birthday room decorations nor the cake that was promised to me was delivered. I was sick that day, so I didn't remind or ask, but I think the hotel completely forgot, which is a big mistake. Fourth, I told that I am sick and uncomfortable, can I ask for some hot soup for breakfast? The front desk said that there is no way, you only can eat whatever the kitchen prepares, which I can understand, But the front desk didn't even have a word of concern and greeting! I feel so indifferent! I was very happy to choose you as my first vacation after the covid ,but now I feel that this is a complete mistake!

“Amazing Watervilla, Communication Needs Improvement ”
We stayed for three nights in a water villa for our honeymoon trip. Water Villa 5/5: The water villa here is fantastic, with a big private pool and an amazing ocean view. The villa is also very spacious, with good amenities. The villas also have an additional second floor, providing fantastic scenery, dining options, and relaxing sunbathing. Overall staying at the water villa here was a great choice and added a unique charm and romance to our honeymoon. We also thank the staff for providing the complementary honeymoon benefits in the villa during check-in! We highly recommend the stay at the Water Villa at this resort. Staff 4/5: The staff is friendly and helpful. Everyone we encountered was courteous and attentive. We especially thank Layla for her exceptional assistance and attention during our dining. Main beach island 4.5/5: The water villas and the beach are not connected by land; there is a complementary ferry between the water villas and the beach every hour. It was not a problem for us; however, it might be a deciding factor for other people. The main beach island is beautiful, with white sand beaches, trees, and colorful birds. I got many good places to capture amazing photos of my wife. We would remember the Stingray and the Bird feeding experiences, which happen daily on the main beach island. The island also looks stunning at night because of the beautiful light decorations. I captured several photos and dance videos of my wife at night, which were excellent. Food 3.5/5: We are vegetarians. The resort had excellent options for vegetarian food; they have a separate vegetarian menu with several good options. Overall the food and dining experience was above average. The Indian vegetarian food lacked its authentic taste; this is one thing the resort needs to improve. “Heaven!! Paradise!! ”
Angsana is truly heaven on earth. Worth every dollar saved to come to this beautiful island paradise. We stayed in an ocean sunset villa and it didn’t disappoint the views were incredible, fish and sharks and manta rays swimming by all the time, the reef right at your doorstep and some of the most amazing sunsets imaginable. We had a wonderful time experiencing all Angsana had to offer. The sunset cruise was beautiful with hundreds of dolphins and baby dolphins and pink sparkling wine - only thing I would have changed was the music on the boat (swearing rap music wasn’t exactly the vibe - maybe a bit of Jack Johnson wouldn’t have gone astray). The whale shark trip was worth it to see these wonderful creatures and lunch on a deserted island. Watching the stingrays feed was great and talking to the marine conservationist was so lovely he was wonderful and knowledgeable and told us where to snorkel to see turtles (spot on - reef outside 127). The dive crew were so friendly and the daily snorkel trip is some of the most extensive sea life you will ever see (manta rays, schools of fish, huge angel fish, sharks!). Loved the all inclusive - great food at variety of restaurants - make sure you read both normal and vegetarian menu they have different stuff and all delicious. Perhaps maybe one combined menu would be easier for guests? The theme nights at the buffet - Mexican and pasta night delicious. Definitely rate all the Indian dishes available too. Great staff at the pool bar always willing to help and serve (Shibin especially what a great dude!), and had many a lovely Arvo playing pool in the bar and sun baking and using the paddle boards. Loved the movie night on the beach too. Azzuro on the water is so tasty and such a good vibe. FEYAS is the king of all host servers / managers. He was so attentive to all our needs and always made sure we had garlic bread :) he was so great and we loved seeing him at azzuro every time we went - hard worker!! if you get a chance

“Angsana in july”
Stayed here for 5 nights, (2 beach pool villa and 3 in ocean pool villa) Had an amazing time here, the staff is along nice and kind. The rooms are well maintained and had good cleanliness. Enjoyed the stay here and would definitely recommend The only drawback are the ferry timings, there should be more options and it can be every 30 mins or so. Waiting for an hour sometimes hampers your planned schedule
