Best value for what you get in Railay The location does not suck at the setting of the crowns is nice. At high tide it’s downright beautiful there. You’re close to all the sites on the peninsula and I quite like hearing the music at night. If you want quieter pay more to be up away from the bars.
The room wasn’t clean enough... towels were damp and smelly, mugs weren’t washed and bathroom in general needs a better clean. We were given a different bungalow than we’d reserved, but upon complaining, then received the right one. The view from the bungalow isn’t really all that, but we spent little time there. Location is good, price is good, mosquito net and safe are good, don’t expect luxury but it’s fine!

Worst place we stayed in Thailand. Run down, cockroaches in room, garbage on walking paths, obviously not maintained. Staff were inattentive. Complementary breakfast of eggs and sausage were cold. Plus, we’re got over charged from what we thought the price was we had booked for. Very unhappy.
Great location, stayed here for 19 days with my partner and it was everything you would expect for a place in this price range. Staff where the only let down closing off cocktails to the pool at random times during the day for no particular reason, also manager just seemed to be difficult to deal with so had to time it to speak with the nice girl with short hair behind the desk. we looked at staying at avatar and similar however having now stayed here I would only stay here and save your money on accommodation and just spend it at the bar at avatar instead...
There are definite pros and cons to the hotel. We were wary after reading other trip advisor reviews. We paid extra for a bungalow and had requested to be mountain facing as other reviews had recommended. Our bungalow was very cute and spacious with a large balcony. It’s also very rustic and there is a big net over the bed. The room locks with a padlock. The room was clean and we were given fresh water daily. We only saw a few monkey on the property but they weren’t problematic. There are monkeys all over this island. Pros: great price, convenient to walk to west railey (about 6 min) do not expect to swim or use the east railey beach which is really just mud. -spacious bungalow -lots of seating by the pool -room was clean Cons: -the staff spoke very poor English, some of the worst we’ve encountered at Thai hotels -room was very dated and is in desperate need of paint -room locking, some might feel unsafe with big glass windows and only a padlock for security but was felt safe
Not a good Hotel We booked a Bungalow, the bungalow was next to the Hotel litter Place. It smelled very bad. After we denied this Bungalow,we Got another Bungalow, but also in this Bungalow the bed laundry and sheets were really dirty and the Towels smelled not good. No beach at this Hotel, you have to go to Railey West (10 Minutes walk) to get to a beach which is overload of people. The Pool was ok but seems as it gets not often Cleaned. In the morning and evening it is very loud. The employees are not very friendly. The shower water was Cold and to get IT of the shower with 3 steps was very slittery and dangerous. Positive: the Size of the bungalow. All in all: the pictures of the Hotel are not the reality I would never again come back to this Hotel. Better take a Hotel in railey West , not Railay East.
Staff here is not helpfull at all. Customer service is a big ZERO. I would term that is nothing called service. I would definitely not go again not recommend to.
The room was ok (spacious and clean) but there was a terrible sewers smell in the room and around. Internet connection was very poor. Pool was nice. Looks better in Agoda than in real life. Staff wasn’t very agreeable. Location good. The beach on this side is no good at all.
Look this is Thailand. I heard several guests make complaints and they probably have left bad reviews. However, if you’ve been before and know what to expect this place is great. AC was super cold and the staff was excellent
When we arrived the staff at the front desk was not helpful, nor did they speak English which in that business and on an island such as that, that should be a requirement for staff. Along with this the first room they took us to was old, run down, the phone didn’t work and there was blood on the sheets and other stains on the walls. Next they moved us to another room, which was a little better so we spent the night. Upon waking up in the morning we noticed the shower curtain was very dirty, with heavy rust stains all over the bottom and on the body of the curtain as well. Along with this there was stains on the walls and the bedding. With that all being said we left that day. I would not recommend staying here, it is expensive for what you get and what you get is not worth a fraction of the cost.
Pool, atmosphere good. But staffs are not that well-trained. A receptionist gave my room key to a bell boy and asked me follow him when I checked in. I tried to follow him, but he walked so fast with another guest even though I called him wait for me because I was with my 7 yrs old girl and had a big bag. When I arrived in front of my room, nobody was there. No bell boy no key. I went back to the receptionist and said about it, but she asked me wait for him at the reception. Just wait for him. No say sorry or just something like it. Nothing. She said sorry when the bell boy back with my room key, but it doesn't look real. I know people work for resort at high touristic area must be tired and it is not that big issue to them, but it can't be an excuse of their fault. If they got trained well, they don't do that kind of attitude.
Monkeys could be a problem for some.
not a bad place to hang out for a couple of days, room were good, pool was good, location okay that beach on Railay is not the best mangroves) didnt eat there so cant say anything but overall good place to stay

Very close to Railay East pier, 4 min walk. And close to west beach too. Very convenient. Room is slightly run down. Not English channels on TV. Surrounding areas near the rooms are quite dirty and the monkeys make a mess since the bins are not properly closed. Empty plastic bottles and plastic bags thrown around the bushes. Breakfast is rather boring, same food everyday
We stayed in a nice bungalow for a few nights. It was clean and made of wood. It looked very beatyful. We loved the location, it was a 5 min walk to railey beach but we preferred the phra nga beach. It was also near by. A laundry was next to the resort. We would stay here again!
Wifi good, complimentary water everyday but monkeys surround pool which makes some uncomfortable. Pool could be cleaner - never saw any staff cleaning the pool. No toppers on sun loungers. Location is good and nice and quiet.
Loc was ok. Room was clean but bathroom was not of d desired standard at all. Restaurant timings was till 1630h only. No arrangements even for new year celebrations. Experience was totally opposite as was expected.
Our bed was very uncomfortable, just a box spring and a flat mat on top. The bathroom was down some very steep steps. If you have back or knee problems, do NOT stay here. Our aircon stopped working in the middle of the night, and I got food poisoning our first night there and had to go to the medical center next door. The door was not able to lock well to our bungalow, so we did not feel secure in our room at night. We were also overcharged the price, as they had signs put up on the sidewalk advertising the rooms for only $49 per night, whereas we paid $127.50 per night. We checked out after only one night and went somewhere for a better value for our money. Would not recommend this “resort” to anyone unless you are a backpacker looking for a place that’s only slightly better than a hostel. Tried to get a refund through Agoda but the property refuses to respond. AVOID Anyavee.

Generally nothing much to shout about although the resort itself is okay. Location is good. But if you a first timer to this part of Railay Beach there's not much to do except relax by the pool, walk around check out the restaurant, food is good at surrounding area. Can't access the beach from resort, too many monkeys around and not to mention mosquitoes. Staff is friendly. Had problem with the shower all 4 days there, very low pressure.
First room what we got was really bad. Toilet didnt flush ac was leaking safety box was locked and we could smell mold from ac i think. Second room ac smelled and looked molded and the towels smelt like piss after cleaners had clean little more after they haven't and my cigarettes was stoled on that day.
room is big with a large terrace and a view of the sea and the karst cliffs - easy walk to the main beaches. But the plastic piled up and semi hidden along the hotel walkways and then the burning of rubbish as they are not prepared to take it away and the resulting acrid smoke blowing over the resort let them down. They were warned by other traveller reviews but carried on anyway. They must stop this and clean up their act and their resort I'm afraid.
The property itself is nice with a great pool, lots of greenery. Staff is very nice and helpful, rooms are clean and spacious, beds are comfy, but... It's loud until 2-3 am. You hear all the music from the discotheques and bars that play until 2am. Not a place for light sleepers and not for non-party goers. Also, you'll hear the very loud engine of the longtai boats all night long. So, I have mixed feelings. It's a very nice property, but I didn't have a good sleep for 3 nights and though I loved Railay I was ready to leave.

The hotel is not bad and not good. So almost everything is not bad and not good, something average. Location, cleanliness, facilities, value for money, breakfast. Railay itself is just an awesome place. It is like heaven on earth, so we were not fixated on the hotel's drawbacks. The main issue with the hotel was the cleanliness.
You get quite a bit for $25/night. Big room, big bed, nice facilities...but my room (B206) was right next to a bar that played live music until 2am every night. Wasn't very easy to sleep and that's the whole point for me since I don't hang out at resorts. I bet every other room near me could hear the music too. To be clear, I'm a musician and love live music, just not when I'm trying to get some rest!
Didn't.like that our bungalow was 2 twin beds instead of a larger one like we had booked but we liked the location of our bungalow so we didn't complain.

We have a really great time while staying here. Bungalow was huge and clean. We like the layout which they separate shower room from dressing room and bedroom. We will re-book again for sure if we be there.

I had an amazing time staying at Anyavee Railay Resort. Modest, but clean n cozy. Staff was always helpful n paying attention on us, regarding the monkeys that often visit the hotel. I was in a bungalow, the location, internet wasn't good. Location of Anyavee is really really nice, on the east side of the island, near the nightlife of the island, live music, muay thai ring next to it, bars and restaurants, but is also very peaceful if you want to get a good rest too. There's no beach sand in front of the hotel, it's a small swamp area, but it didn't bother me at all. We can walk 10 minutes anywhere to swim or snorkel. The pier where the long tail boats and speed boats departures to most of the wonderful day trips is right there, next to the hotel. I'm looking forward my next trip.
Experience was really pleasant - beautiful room, friendly staff, tasty breakfast, etc, etc. The only thing we didn’t like - they charged 60€ as a desposit during check in (refund in two weeks) & 28€ for broken soap diffuser. It was our fault regarding this diffuser but we expected such hotel to not pay attention to such small details.

Huge room and very well equipped, it even had a balcony. The bathroom was a little bit smelly but nothing major. The hotel is very well located and surrounded by all the necessary services

Clean room, all amenities provided. Spacious room just beside the beach. Infinity Pool is the best part of the complete stay. And as usual, very welcoming and friendly staff. Very near to the east pier. For West beach need to walk 5-7 min. Overall very good stay. If you are planning here, book the beach view that will add cherry to the cake.
We only stayed for 1 night, so we decided to get a bungalow. It was spacious and clean with a big bed and mosquito net. You'll need the mosquito net, since there are a lot of cracks for the little gritters to get in. Overall, we had a pleasant stay and staff was really friendly and helpful :)
The photos were probably taken many years ago, it’s more run down now, but for the price it’s everything you need.
“Horrible experience ”
Monkey infested place. Robbing people at the pool, no inhibitions. Reception does nothing. Bungalow very overpriced. Not clean, stinky towels, bed linen, door ajar, primitive locks, bathroom floor full of sand, inside as well. My boyfriend got a severe allergy from the bed. There was a Power cut from 9am till 4pm.they didn't told us about. They don't really care since people book online. Don't support this system. Has nothing to do with hospitality or service. They are desinterested in your needs. Horrible experience
