The hotel location is perfect. Just 100m from the station. Rooms are not that spacious, typical Japanese business hotel type. The room carpets were a little old. The breakfast is worth to mention. I was very impressed by the variation of food. Overall, I had a good experience.

This hotel is just steps away from JR Hirosaki Station, so is super convenient if you're traveling by train. As some other reviews note, the property is a bit dated and shows some wear, but was perfectly clean and comfortable. Rooms are spacious for Japanese business hotel standards but do not have individual aircon units, so you're at the mercy of the central temp. That wasn't an issue for us during the autumn season, but during more extreme temperatures could be dicey. All in all, we were happy with our stay.

Very convenient to Hirosaki Station and a couple kilometer walk to the castle. The rooms are big for Japan and comfortable. My wife left our passports in the room and they mailed them to us the next day. Highly recommend!

Staff: polite & welcoming Dining: Breakfast & Dinner over 5 days was the same. Luke warm, food not refreshed often enough, on occasions dishes were empty. Cleanliness: Floor area around tables not always cleaned. I was seated & there was food & chopsticks under the table. Wall behind bed had clumps of dust stuck to it & the picture was thick with dust & hair. Hairs in bath. Sanitiser: There are hand Sanitiser points at elevators, entry points & restaurant. Disabled entry point is by the garage & vehicle entry point with no direction signage. Location: Convenient for bus & train station

We stayed for a few nights here. Very friendly staff. Generous breakfast with excellent choices for westerners and japanese in buffet style. Beds were very comfortable. Lovely strong shower. Parking outside very easy and cones for our parking spot provided. Bus station two minute walk. Overall a great stay. Apple stall across from bus terminal with cheap freshly picked apples for sale. Nice Cafe within the hotel in foyer area with lovely cakes.

Hotel is nice n comfortable, location is just 1 min walk from train station , lots of restaurants near by at 5mins walk, 7/11 just besides hotel, what can you ask for ? Highly recommended this hotel if you come to Hirosaki .

I picked this hotel because it was close to the JR train station and bus stop. Clean and comfortable rooms. I had the intention of taking day trips out of Hirosaki and had to catch morning buses— hence this location was good for me. If you’re looking to stay nearer the castle and the park, there are other options. Breakfast buffet was very good! One of the staff didn’t really want to help me making a dinner reservation, not sure why. Maybe there was a communication issue, the restaurant was closed on a Sunday and I was trying to ask if he could help me phone the next day. My experience with Japanese hotel concierge has been mixed in this aspect. Anyway I ended up making the reservation myself by going to the restaurant in person on Monday evening , and manage to dine there on Tuesday! In all, a good base for travelers in Hirosaki especially those who want to make day trips!

We love that the hotel is right outside the JR station entrance. Very convenient. Clean rooms, good breakfast. On the days we stayed, the temperature was quite toasty in April (30 deg Celsius). Their AC was very weak, we weren’t sure if it even worked. When we told the front desk, they gave us a fan and suggested we open our windows. But even with that we couldn’t sleep because of how hot our room was! Because of that, we don’t recommend this hotel.

Near the train and the bus stop to Hirosaki Castle, so it was convenient. Also near Hiroro, a mall, so it was easy to get food.

We came to stay for cherry blossom festival and the hotel was great for the most part. For an older hotel it was very clean. But their ventilation system had central AC, which made our room very hot. You tell them and they offer you a fan, but it still wasn’t enough to keep us cool. We kept waking up in the middle of the night due to the heat. If you wish to come in the summer months, we don’t recommend this hotel.

The room size is a bit small though. When we requested for an hour's late checkout, the male front desk staff replied no with a poker face. That's the only disappointment given the usually friendly service of Japanese.

Right next to the station and busses, with shops and restaurants nearby, so very convenient location. We decided to book this hotel over one we stayed at last time simply because the price was lower than before. Staff was friendly and check-in/out was easy, but our room needed a deep clean. Carpet, walls, and furniture had marks and stains, and there was mold forming in the bathroom.

Art hotel is right next to Hirosaki train station which makes it incredibly convenient. Rooms are clean and comfortable. The breakfest buffet has lots of variety and is delicious.

We stayed in Jan 2024, it's probably slow season. The hotel is not so busy, it's good location with easy access to JR Hirosaki station. Buffet breakfast is less expensive. I bet the hotel will be so busy in Sakura season.

Conveniently located right next to the JR station and bus stops, the hotel is a great base point for those looking to stay a night or two for a quick exploration of Hirosaki. Good hotel and buffet spread was generous.

We have been to a few Art hotels and I have found them to be a nice place to stay. The breakfast buffet is wonderful. The location was very convenient right next to the train station.
We enjoyed our stay and the staff was very helpful. The restaurant staff helped us to get child seat quickly and children cuttleries. Breakfast was great. The room was good, bed was comfortable although the pillows were quite uncomfortable. They have laundry room and microwave available on level 6. Also there is convenience store downstairs. We overall enjoyed our stay!

Generally nice hotel at a good price-performance ratio with great breakfast in a good central location. But: On the second day we had to change the room due to a defect of the air conditioning. In the first as well as in the second room the cooling capacity of the air conditioning was absolutely inadequate. After initially 28.2 °C, it only reached 27.2 °C after 2 hours. 🥵 So not really recommended during the Japanese summer.
