Great rooms but no English spoken”
New hotel with very good rooms, clean and all facilites but we found with the lack of English spoken by staff it was difficult to find out what to do and how. Restaurant was outside or in adjacent building. There appeared to be no breakfast available and no dinner menu in English, but this was no problem in the restaurants down on the river front, a 1500m. walk. As it was Cambodian New Year public holidays, this may have had some bearing on the above. In the end we had a wonderful time on the back of a motorbike with a guide who approached us as we arrived by bus and thoroughly enjoyed our day in Kampong Cham, without too many tourists.

Lovely hotel and service with a smile”
it was really good to have a swimming pool to frolic in 24/7. the hotel was located around a 10 minute walk out of town, but it is easy to get a lift in. nice clean rooms. the air con was lovely, and worked really well. loud keyboard playing outside at night.

Pleasant but slightly remote hotel”
In Kampong Cham there were not many choices for accommodation and this hotel was about a 30 minute walk into town. It looks impressive, despite the pool being out near the car park. There is no restaurant in the hotel and staff had difficulty with English.

Peacefully relaxed”
This is one of many nice, value-for-money hotels in or near the town centre. Swimmingpool is very suitable for suntan-wanting visitors and a cooling bath. Lovely rooms with tv, wifi, fridge, bathroom, aircon, working desk and and floor space all good. Friendly staff. Everybody from reception to cleaning. Thank you.

Clean, good pool, good internet”
The hotel is not in the tourist area but I found this a positive as you saw a different side of the city, which is quite attractive. They had restaurants next door catering to all tastes. It is a short trip to the "night life" which doesn't amount to more than a travellers strip of a few bars, so being out of that is no loss. You can arrange pickup for tours at no extra cost from the hotel. It's less than 5 minutes from the tourist strip alone the river by Tuk Tuk (Remork). I walked there anyway.

It was great value for the price we paid”
For the price we paid it was very very good. Clean swimming pool, nice room with private bathroom. About 10 minutes walk to centre of town or about 3 minutes by tuk tuk. We only paid $13 per night so great value. I would definitely stay there again.

Wonderful”
I have traveled all over South East Asia and this is one of the best rooms I have ever stayed in. It was a bit of a far walk to the river front but a very close walk to the market. I would return there if I am ever in that area again.

Large complex but not a good location”
i was quite irritated by the location of the hotel which was much more than the advertised 300m from town. more like a kilometre and even more (2km+) from the best part of the river front. once i hired a bike i was more relaxed as i could get around easily. i had decided to stay a third day so moved to a different hotel which was much closer to town and the bus stand. i could not get a map and the lonely planet map was poor with few roads named. the hotel had an adjacent nightclub which i could not hear from my room.

Nice hotel, bad location”
stayed here for 12 nights. it was ok... pretty loud. they have weddings/banquets almost every night. i usually sleep through everything, but damn... sometimes roosters around the neighborhood crows every ten seconds for hours in the morning. paid $12 a night, so i can't complain. the last two nights of my trip, i moved to monoroom vip. $15 rooms, slightly better. much better location, close to all the restuarants. main thing is, if u stay here, you'll need to walk 15-20 minutes to go eat (hotel restaurant sucks), which is good exercise...or u can take moto or tuk tuk for 2000-4000 riel ($.50-$1)

Get what you pay for”
Pool was clean, however was out in the open with no shade. Rooms were what you pay for. Bedroom was clean, bathroom was old and parts were broken. On check-in I was sent to the wrong room and had to ask staff for the right one as some features that were advertised were not included. Had to ask staff for toilet paper, etc. as this was not in the room. All in all was a nice stay and what I paid for so I was happy.

Not too bad for the cost”
It was a bit far from the river, but no issue, we had bikes. The rooms were as gooda you get for the price and served us well. I think we might choose another option in future.

A little far fom it all but a good value”
They insisted we did not pay in advance, although it was all booked thru Agoda. Even my Lhmer friends tried to explain but the staff wasn;t having it. Finaly we got our rooms. They were clean and adequate, a good value for the money. I did not have clean towels in my room, but the dirty ones. They readily gave me freshies.

Rooms are nice, but location not great”
We have stayed 2 nights. Swimming pool were not usable (water was green), and no transport from hotel to central area. 2km of walk to central area. No breakfast provided by hotel, and a lot of noise due to other travellers. I would not suggest to travellers to stay in this hotel.

the worst hotel in cambodia”
the worst hotel in cambodia. the location is not good - it is too far out of town to walk regularly and there are no transport services available for guests. you cannot get breakfast or even a simple cup of coffee at any time of the day. none of the staff have any english whatsoever. simple things like ordering a tuk tuk or trying to get them to understand that you want a cup of coffee is impossible. the staff spend their entire day behind the counter and watch television all day. they do not have the skills to deal with overseas guests. the restaurant is a joke. it is open at night but they seem to be holding cambodia idol every night. despite the fact that there were not more than five guests in the restauant the contestants played their music until after 10.00pm at a volume that was deafening. conversation was impossible. again the restaurant staff had absolutely no english at all and placing an order was difficult in the extreme. do not stay here under any circumstances.
