Relaxed in the city after 3-day strenuous trek on Mt Rinjani”
I booked this hotel for the last minute deal and I was satisfied with its facilities and services. Location is best for shopping at Mataram Mall and also shops lining along the street in front of the hotel. The space of the room was wide with balcony equipped relaxed chairs. There were4 main buidings:A,B,C,D surrounding the swimming pool. It's unbelievably quiet at night among messy citycenter of mataram. Porters were also friendly and ready to help you anytime.

Always stay here when I'm in Lombok due to its strategic location. 5 minutes walk you'll reach Mataram Mall. There are a lot of food outlets in its surrounding area. This hotel will always be my first choice.

Great central location”
Nice spacious rooms but a little old and in need of some furbishment. A new block is under construction in the grounds so expect a bit of disruption and noise during the day. Love the pool and gardens. Great location just across the road from Mataram Mall which has a very well stocked supermarket & a great restaurant serving traditional Lombok cuisine.

The menus were mostly in Indonesian, so you may need a translator app on your phone. Most of the staff speak extremely little English. However, they are extremely kind and understanding to each guest. We have food allergies, and due to those, the head chef tended our meals personally and paid close attention that our food was not mixed with our allergins. Taxi to and from the airport was a bit of a ride, but great price. I would stay here again, if we were to visit Lombok in the future.

RECOMMENDED ACCOMMODATION IN MATARAM/LOMBOK”
I was there for three nights. The hotel is located at the heart of the small town Mataram. You could simply cross the main road to get to Mataram Mall and other shops there. The room was spacious and this would be a good choice if you travel with your family or small kids. And there are swimming pools too.

my overall stay experience in Lombok Raya Hotel is quite good. I booked 3 night stay at Grand Deluxe room and were located at the new wing. If you book superior room at the old wing it really suck. The price comparison between this two types of room is not much but the room condition differ a lot. the pool is awesome. the breakfast is just okey with a limited selection of western and Indonesian choices. I prefer to stay at hotels near to Senggigi area compared hotels in Mataram because they are far from beach.

Decent breakfast, good clean rooms/bedding & good facilities like wifi, tv, showers. We had 5th floor room with sunrise view of Rinjani volcano. Beautiful gardens. Hotel is 5 min walk to Mataram Mall ( Begibung Restaurant, Ikan Bakar 88)

Lombok Raya Hotel is a beautiful hotel, but still have a lot of improvement such as: 1. Breakfast time. When i came there, many dishes was empty and it's took very long time to wait the refill. 2. The cleanliness in restaurant when breakfast time was very poor. 3. There is no balcony for the family room. 4. The wifi connection's not stable But other service and facilities is very nice. I have a great time to spend my holiday with whole family.

Superb location, but a very tired hotel”
I have stayed at Lombok Raya for many years now and you can't beat it for location in Mataram. It is right outside the mall and close to many great restaurants. It is however, showing its age quite a lot. There are renovations going on also, as they are seriously expanding the hotel. Expect the standard to lift greatly in the next few years, but it was not the most comfortable hotel I've stayed in, for the price

Join meeting with all schools head masters”
I was invited to give presentation to first group of schools head masters. This hotel is located in the city center, next to the hotel of the meeting venue. In front of this hotel, there is relatively small mall to shop local gifts. Better shopping center is located approximately 15 minutes trip by taxi. for those who enjoy local environment, street vendors are many at surrounding hotels. But, this environment does not affect the nuance of the hotel. It has large yard scenery. It has swimming pool that has same depth at all edge.

the hotel is situated in the town centre, on walking distance from the mataram-mall. excellent location if you are with young kids, as i was. very friendly staff, a spacious room and a swimming pool. excellent for my children. the price is quite reasonable, you can say value for money.
