Best Location and Friendly Staff”

The location is super good. Just beside the place where the public boat drop us. Walking distance to walking street. Happening bar - evolution pub just beside also. The room is clean but they not offer housekeeping everyday unless you drop your room key. Our room is included breakfast. the breakfast is so-so. Nothing to say about it since there is street food everywhere on the Gili trawangan. The staff is kind and helpful. We did the diving with Manta dive. Anna and tracey gave us a meaningful diving experience under the sea. They helped us to beat the fear and teach us very patiently. But there is one guy keep asking money from us. For example, we already make a deal of Rp50,000 for bike rental, then he will suddenly said its Rp60,000. Or snorkelling trip is Rp150,000 per person included all equipment and life jacket, but suddenly increase to Rp200,000. then after that said not included life jacket. So be aware that guy. The other staff is friendly and helpful.

Caring staff, great breakfast and cleanliness”

We were three girls staying in a modern garden view room att Manta Dive. We really enjoyed our stay! We always felt safe as the hotel was staffed 24 hours, they even helped us when a local man tried to trick us and warned us as if they really cared for our safety. The room was clean and the beds were really nice. The bathroom is half outdoors so you shower under the stars, which was a really nice experience. The breakfast is not a buffet, but you can chose from 4-5 alternatives, which are all adapted to the western taste and really nice. If I would go to Gili Trawangan again soon, I would definitely stay here and I would be glad to recommend this hotel to friends and relatives.

best hotell on the gillis”

Never been to the gillis before but stories where told that it was nothing less then a paradise. The hotell was picked random and we hit the jackpot. It's just about 50ish meters from where the speedboats lets you go so dont bother with any carriers or anything when you get of the boats. the rooms are shaped like small upsidedown u's and it has all the comforts of tv, fridges king size beds ect ect. big nice windows to top it off. On the "backyard" you will find your outdoor shower and toilet(!) where as sitting on the toilet you can look up and gaze on the stars while doin your thing (dont forget mosquitospray). Breakfast is included and the very helpfull and lovley staff will never be shy of a smile. Manta dive as its name give away also have a diving school wich is highly recomended. Staying at the houses at the same time will give you a discount! I took a openwater diving course with superb diving. Due to a storm on our last days we where forced to stay another night wich was no problems and we could book it to our old fee even if my diving was finished. We had a look around on other rooms on the ilands for that night, but nothing even came close to what manta dive offerd us. Highly recomended for everyone! Made our stay there unforgettable!

Wonderful Stay at Manta Dive”

I had a really fantastic time on Gili Trawangan & the Manta Dive hotel was great! I took the Discover Diving class & it was amazing! I was really disappointed that I ran out of time & couldn't take the Open Water Course. I'll definitely be coming back to do more diving & stay at Manta Dive!

Awesome Retreat ”

I really love our stay in manta, it was definitely a perfect choice for a couple who wants to have a sweet vacation with a diving activity. I would say in comparison with other dive centers in Gili, Manta is the best choice that one can have ( a few friends of mine is staying in other place as well). The breakfast is freshly prepared the room was amazing with the ambience and concept sometimes makes me want to stay there forever. I would come here again in our next trip. most definitely!!

Great Hotel on Great Island”

The hotel itself is well located on the main street, just around the Main Public Harbor and Private Harbor in Gili Trawangan. Surrounded by many spots of attraction and restaurants, everything is just within 5-10-minute walking distance. It is a dive hotel, you will find pool that used for dive training, and an open-air restaurant in front of the hotel. Checking in and out was very fast and easy. Staff was friendly. Sadly, the check-out time is 11am. Very nice 'SASAK' bungalows. It has wooden interior, with great modern tropic outdoor bathroom in the back of the bungalow. Air Conditioner worked very well on Gili Trawangan's heat. The drawback was there were no water heater and telephone available on the bungalow. Has to walk to front office to get hot water and other things. In summary, it is a very nice hotel to start your day at the amazing Gili Trawangan.

Stunning Traditional Lumbung Hut In Paradise”

Manta Dive Gili T was great, but there isnt any Fresh water so the Shower is quite salty and there isnt much drinking water either. the Beach is only a few meters away so thats cool but after a few days we were craving a fresh water shower! The hotel pool is tiny and there were hipster divers spread out all over the paths and pool which was a bit annoying. The Huts were epic!! so that made up for that! The restaraunt next door D'harbour was simply amazing but keep in mind the whole Islands food shuts down at 11pm so make sure you eat before then! No Room Service either. There was a party every night and you had many choices of excellent restaraunts here though. The fast Boats arent always reliable so allow an extra half day either way for travel ti gili from Padung bai harbour.

A place for divers”

The hotel is also the premier service provider for seasoned and novice divers. The "traditional"-style room was very comfortable and spacious. Although, I think the wooden steps can use a little bit of reworking. It is located in the central area of Gili Trawangan, close to the port, shops and market.

Great Location ”

Stayed at Manta Dive in may of 2012 was a last minute booking after being told by friends that the Gili's were not to be missed when visiting Bali. whilst this is primarily a dive hotel niether myself or girlfriend went diving while only the island. Was situated right in the heart of the action and the rooms perfect if you plan on spending most of your time out sightseeing & relaxing. Only issues we had was the fact the the 'Queen' sized bed was infact two singles pushed together and the nearby mosk blasting out prayers at 5am in the morning. Music could be heard until approx 1-2am but we didn't find it a huge issue. Great place for anyone looking to spend more time outside the hotel than in it but still very comfortable.

Manta Dive Resort & Bungalows”

very very easy access to any where in Gili Trawangan Island, yummy breakfast, expatriate diving instructor, humble staff, very recommended.

Attractive Sasak style bungalow behind dive school”

manta dive is mainly about the dive school with nice accommodation provided as well. we didn't take dive lessons and had to share the pool with the dive classes which wasn't a problem. the staff were friendly and happy to provide room service when i had injured my foot. the cafe has a limited menu but the baguettes are to die for and there was a good breakfast choice.

Nice place, with an outdoor bathroom!”

They had our room all ready to go before check in. It was a cute bungalow with an outdoor bathroom and flat screen tv. The location was amidst all the happenings on Gilli and you could take Scuba diving lessons through the hotel itself and pay when you leave. The scuba boat would take you out to the best diving locations and you could dive with instructors as deep as 10 meters even if you were a beginner. There were lovely gardens and breakfast was included, however there isnt a restarurant for lunch and dinner. All the staff were friendly.

A decent hotel for diving”

i stayed for 2 nights in manta with my friends. great location, which is near the harbour for public boats from lombok island..so you don't have walk far to get to the hotel. the room was clean and quite spacious. there is a fridge and a tv with international channels too. the only minus point would be the lightings, which is too dim in my opinion. they should put more lights inside the room. overall, this is a decent hotel to stay.

lovely bungalouw in a beautiful island!”

it was a lovely stay in mantadive gili trawangan hotel! the room was nice, clean, and full equipped with air conditioner. the bathroom was also nice with the open air theme.

Fantastic Accomodation and Dive Centre”

Located at the main street, near to the beach and you can just simply find food in justwalking distance less than 2 minutes! The room was superb, with the outdoor bathroom where you can enjoy the sun and star while showering but the bedframe has some sound. Besides, for divers it's a highly recommended place to stay as it's attached with dive centre and those divemaster is really friendly. The max group is only 4 people per group, you will get nice and easy dives. Love this place, will for sure come back again! -Malaysia- 29th June 2017

Great rooms and location!”

We loved this hotel- it is just to the left as you arrive on the island, it doesnt look like much from the front but the rooms (traditional sasak's) are new and all have a fridge, air con, tv dvd player, satellite tv and outdoor bathrooms which are great- weird to shower in the rain though!! you can get your scuba diving ticket here in the pool, and the staff were very helpful- both westerners and indonesian. highly recommended!

Good location and manda dive school were great”

the small breakfast menu was great to wake up to each morning and if you wanted to get a western snack during the day the sandwiches were great, otherwise the local food at the restaurants near by was amazing. slightly over priced for what u got in the model villa but ifbu are going to dive with manta it's so conveinient. all in all i'd give a 4/5 for my experience but most of it was to do with the atmosphere of the island itself rather than the quantity of accomodation

Central location so close to where the fast boat would drop you off at. only about 50m walk from drop off location. Manta dive is reputable dive company even though I didn't have time to dive with them. It would have been cheaper though if you booked directly with them than online.
