I really did enjoy the stay. The staff was extremely helpful and courtious. My only issue was the bed which was quite hard. Otherwise, the facilities are clean, the staff wonderful, and the location in D1, while not perfect, is close enough that a Grab or taxi is cheap.

Great Little Find”
With my usual large hotel in the area wanting ridiculous amounts of money (non-refundable) to stay I thought that I would try out Sophia Hotel. So far very impressed. Easy check in, close to restaurants, etc, good location, large room with own spa, and very friendly staff.

I'd come back here”
Excellent value for money although construction noise on north side might bother some people. Stayed two weeks, switched rooms after a few days to one with a better shower. Good bed, wifi, tv channels, etc. Breakfasts were the best so far of the 4 hotels I've stayed at so far in this area. Can order omelets, etc., from the kitchen staff. As with all hotels, things go better if you tip the services. And oh yes, this hotel is guest friendly. Would recommend to friends and I'll definitely be back.

Good value in a good location - restaurants, massage, 7-11. Clean room with good A/C and shower. Guests allowed to room, 5 min walk from Apocalypse now bar. Decent breakfast with adequate selection. Nice staff with no hassles.
