“Acceptable for short stay ”
Google maps takes you to the place but as others have mentioned that the place isn't signposted, you have to call the number advertised on Agoda when you arrive. You also have to call that number to get the room cleaned. So make sure you have a bit of calling credit before you arrive. Room I booked was small but clean. Take mosquito spray with you or 711 just down the road. Thai tv, no English speaking channels. WiFi good, toiletries supplied. Aircon good, quiet place, big fridge, kettle and coffee sachets. As I've already said you need to call to get room cleaned, think there is 1 member of staff staying around the place somewhere but you need to call. Around a 7 minute walk down to sai kaew beach. Few restaurants and bars, beach entertainment with fire show . Motorbike 300 per day. Please be aware, it's a very small quiet island with not alot to do at all. There is only the beach. It's boring and 3 days is more than enough. Wherever I didn't spray mosquito repellent on my body I've been bit. I must of lost half a litre of blood to mosquitoes in 3 days, bit all over and that's with using thai mosquito repellent. The hotel was ok but I wouldn't go back to koh samet personally.
