Little Oasis in the Big City”
Nakhon Si thammarat feels like a Bangkok suburb. Slightly off city center, this is a little oasis in a big southern city. The people on the staff are very accommodating and always with the famous warm Thai smile. They are the to help their patrons -- there is no doubt about that! Language gap? ... A little bit of body language goes a long way ... They are masters at interpreting your needs. Pick up your 7/11 needs in the day as it is a 10 minute walk at night; however, in my experience, one of the magnificent staff gave me a free motorbike ride to the 7/11 and back late at night -- nice! There are several little places nearby to dine at. Right next door is the Full House bar and eatery where you can find some good late evening nosh and great live music ... seriously talented players. Overall, highly recommended place to cool out on your travels! dcb

Nice, cozy Thai hotel”
The hotel is just off one of the two main roads of Nakhon Si Thammarat. It's geared towards Thai guests, this the breakfast options for Western tastes are limited. However, you get instant coffee, toast and if you ask for a fried egg, staff will be happy to prepare it for you. The hotel is simple but cozy and it offers all you need - wifi, hot shower and AC. Staff mostly speaks basic English, but is very friendly and helpful.

I only stated at this Baan for the one night, as I was moving on outside NST to stay with friends. but the hotel was excellent value for money & proved adequate in all respects. It was spotlessly clean, the room was large, with a large & very comfortable bed, light, airy & quiet, with a modern TV. Breakfast was included in the very affordable price & it was varied with both Thai & western type menus. It was located within the long main street of NST, & within walking distance of many, traditional Thai shops, street traders, food vendors, & 'Robinsons', a large modern department store.. Situated a 10 min taxi ride is 'Central Plaza'., a very large & modern shopping mall, where anything from cars to clothes & food to electrical s can be purchased.

It is a quiet place, set back from the street. A nice Thai food buffet, with both spicy and mild foods, served each morning. Coffee, Milo, fruit are available lobby garden all day. There is a restaurant across the street by a black and white cow, open 10am. There is street food stands mostly at night. No English, but that is no problem. People there were very helpful. They provided a tour map. The hotel will expand soon. There is a Lotus and Robinson store in opposite directions, each direction about 1 kilometer walk along rough broken sidewalks. IF, you are athletic, there are several temples and a wall city less than 2 kilometers from the hotel, along rough broken back streets. In the city parking is difficult. There are now, modern blue and yellow taxis on call. The hotel parking area is marked well but some patron may park behind you and block an otherwise easy exit. I will go there again.

Pro - price included with breakfast. For Muslims visitor the hotel close to halal restaurant nearby that just a walking distance from the hotel. Staff very helpful and kind. Cons- access to room upstair you only have access using the stairs no lift. If you bring you old citizen you need to request first ground floor room while booking. Overall absolutely fine and will come again!

We stay here for a trip to visit families. The location is great, its in the center of Nakhon.They provide nice breakfast: coffee, tea, with some local authentic tasty food. The decoration is peaceful , green with pretty garden. The only thing i recommend to improve is the color of paint in the bathroom and the lighting.It makes the room dark . Doesnt give a refresh feeling. Otherwise, everything else is great. I would come back again

This place serves mostly non English speakers and yet they tried really hard to accommodate all my needs and arranged a taxi to take me to Khao Luang after my stay. Also the breakfast is the best breakfast I've had at a hotel in Thailand. REAL Thai food that was almost too spicy for me and things I'd never seen before like rice porridge. Really nice rooms. I felt the location was tough without your own vehicle but if you don't mind walking it's not fat from the main songthaew road. Wonderful staff.

Its a wonderful hotel. You have a personal garden in your own room. Greeneries around you. Great service from the staffs. My family liked the room because it is very clean. The room booking came with lovely free buffet breakfast. Mostly local fares but very delicious and appetizing. Suitable for Malaysian tastebuds. The only cons is that we booked a triple room. The extra bed is just a mattress with covers, blanket and pillow layed on the floor. Was expecting a foldable extra bed but still acceptable as the floor is very clean.... Would still return again. Would also recommend to friends. The only thing is heads up on the extra "bed"......

Great Place! ”
I stayed one night in a standard double bed room. The room was spacious and clean with a large (firm) bed, desk, two comfortable chairs, modern TV (no English channels) and a fridge. No kettle, but coffee and tea are available at reception all day. Sliding glass doors looked out onto a lovely little private garden. AC unit was whisper quiet and efficient. The bathroom was small but the shower was enclosed, thus a dry floor, which I appreciated. Breakfast was wonderful for me, although I understand why some would disagree. The only western option was toast, and aside from the rice porridge and soup, all the dishes were southern Thai food, and spicy! They had desserts too. I'm going to need a nap before moving on! They have onsite parking, which is a plus because of the busy street. Staff were friendly and professional, but English is not spoken here. That is not a criticism, just a fact. This area is not so commonly visited by westerners. All this for only $20, a very good value.

I traveled with my family and friends, we booked one bed and one twin rooms. Overview, the cleanliness is the most concern for my mother. She loved the decoration of the room with simplicity and cleanliness without smoking smell. We just feel little comfy only for the bathroom. It should have the dry and wet area separately. All staffs including the owner were very nice and friendly. This is a family resort style. They have only 10-12 I guess. If you dont book in advance, you cant get the room. Food for breakfast was ok, there were various food to choose. So far, I'll not hesitate to come back to this resort again.

Very good town hotel with nice rooms”
The rooms are spacious and well appointment with a nice bathroom. There is no view per se, however a small yard (balcony) has been decorated as a garden, which looks very nice and provides a special atmosphere. Breakfast comes with a rather limited choice of western options but is otherwise okay. Friendly owner/staff.

Stayed here 2 nights recently. Has a Northern Thailand feel about it with the gardens in between rooms rows. Rooms good and clean and staff friendly. Complimentary tea and coffee at reception. Breakfast was a bit limited being the only negative. Recommended
