Home away from Home”

After staying here on three different occasions during my three-month journey in Australia, I can safely say that Nomads St.Kilda has become my home base. The location is amazing, close to the beach and both the tram and bus, with a Wollies and Coles around the corner. The hostel has given me a space of safety and comfort during my time here, and it’s hard having to say the final goodbye. So… When you stay in Nomads long enough, you start to learn the routines of not just the other people that you will stay here with but also the lovely people that work here. You’ll know that Quentin, a funny young Frenchman, will have the front desk from 8 to 12 p.m., and Luke after that. You’ll know that Charlie and Matt will show up at the bar downstairs at some point for lunch or just general chit-chat. You’ll see Jodie running around with a music box and in the evenings, if you’re in the kitchen, you’re probably going to catch Ryan creating some sort of Michelin star meal. Bingo is on Monday nights, (don't miss it!!!) so you will see the famous Bingo Bitch Henry taking over the stage! So when you wake up the next morning with the biggest hangover and once again forget to extend your stay, Isaac will pop into your room at 11:30ish to give you a friendly reminder. But when you do feel like seeing other places in Australia, Skye is your girl for your future travels. So when you can’t sleep, at two a.m. in the morning, for whatever reason that may be, and go downstairs for a smoke (highly theoretical, of course; my mum is reading this), there will probably be someone down there who is just as sleep-deprived as you are. And know for a fact that from Tuesday to Friday night, Damon, the night receptionist, will be there with an open ear (if that’s what you need) or a passionate conversation about music, a rave, or DJing. And if you’re really lucky, you meet some cool people or even make some really fantastic friends during that sleep-deprived night while you play one or two or thirty rounds of pool. So thank you, Nomads St. Kilda; it was a pleasure, and I will no doubt see you again at some point in time!

Exceptional”

I absolutely love this place! The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and the staff are incredibly polite and approachable, making you feel right at home. The bed is exceptionally comfortable, and you can immediately tell how clean and fresh the linens are. The toilet and shower facilities are spotless and well-maintained, which adds to the overall comfort. The reliable heater is a lifesaver on chilly days, ensuring a cozy stay no matter the weather. To top it all off, the complimentary breakfast is a fantastic bonus, making the experience even more enjoyable. Highly recommended!

Nomad is Dope!”

So I never ever leave reviews but this time I had to. Despite being there for only 1 night. I can honestly say, if you’re young, and looking to party or just have fun, Nomads St Kilda is the spot! Good crowd, good DJ, cheap booze🍺 extremely affordable accommodation as well! The receptionist that checked me in was a young British woman with blonde hair. She was super kind and made everything real easy! The security are chill and also really helpful whenever I needed assistance with a few basic things! I will certainly be back next time I’m in the Melbourne area. Thanks Nomad. Much Love!

Amazing deal for an amazing place”

Staff was friendly and very helpful. Room was decent but I love the location. Super convenient and it's just behind the famous Acland street. Only drawback is the noise from the street. Because my room is facing the road. However , the hostel is kind enough to provide me with earbuds and I am not bothered with the sounds so it's fine. There's a bar downstairs if you fancy a drink ... Other than that , great stay. Great experience
