"It might be better to change check-in (1 pm) vs. check-out (3 pm) policies to avoid customers trying to check-into only to be told that room is not available yet. "

Marquis Reforma Hotel & Spa
Major Tower-Pink zone,Mexico City - View on map
"This was my second (perhaps, third) stay at the Marquis. The service was excellent and my room was very comfortable. It's located next to the Torre Mayor on Avenida Reforma, one of the hearts of the city, allowing for easy and convenient access to and from (when not stuck in DF traffic). I ordered room service twice and the meals were very good. Bottom line: a luxury hotel with all the amenities, located in a convenient spot."

Hotel Plaza Revolucion
Historic City Center,Mexico City - View on map
"Superb hotel! The staff are fantastic - very helpful and friendly. The rooms are beautiful - very clean and comfortable. We originally booked for 2 nights but kept extending our stay and this was never any problem. We arrived late to the hotel on Easter Sunday after a flight from Australia and we're checked in in less than a minute! Great room service too with a good choice of snacks and meals. Fast complimentary wifi and use of 2 computers downstairs (equipped with Skype). The cleaning staff are absolutely wonderful as are the staff at reception - all very efficient and welcoming. This was a fantastic welcome to Mexico for us and we couldn't recommend this hotel enough. An additional bonus is the check-out at 1pm as standard. Great location, peaceful hotel and surroundings and lots of restaurants and bars close by. Muchas gracias to all the staff at Hotel Plaza Revolucion, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at your hotel."

InterContinental Presidente Mexico City
Chapultepec-Polanco,Mexico City - View on map
"This hotel is centrally located in "safe zone" area of Mexico city called Polanco. I stayed in club level room so I do enjoy the benefit it brings including breakfast in 39th floor where I can view the beautiful Mexico City in the early morning. The service is good and attentive. The breakfast comprises of quality food but the variety is quite limited and no salad at all. The room is clean though rather small compared to other hotels in the range of US$400! It has a big window so I can watch the beautiful city of Mexicon day and nights. I like it. The bathroom is decent with limited supplies of soaps and shampoo and the like. In general, the room is fine. The only problem that I already learn from previous travelers is the noise of door closing from other rooms. I checked and found out there is a big gap between the floor and the door so most of the time, I am waken up by heavy noise from other doors closure. I think the management should look into this matter, otherwise it is difficult for guest to get a nice sleep."

Hostel Amigo
Historic City Center,Mexico City - View on map
"The entire staff was friendly and helpful. Excellent suggestions to compliment plans we had already made and ideas for free time during our stay. Location was also excellent, right in the historic city center within walking distance of a variety of dining, entertainment and cultural options. We attended two of their tour packages that included an evening trip to a luchador fight and a day trip of a hot-air balloon ride to the pyramids. The breakfast was a little disappointing, we were only able to have fruit and bread. Pancakes were being made, but they were going too fast for us to get any - though they smelled very good."
