Bloomsbury hotels & accommodations
If you've planned for Covent Garden/The British Museum then Myhotel Bloomsbury is the place for you. It's a 7 min walk from the Metro station and on your way to your hotel, there are numerous shops and eateries readily available nearby. The hotel was clean and had a very nice location, because its a nice 10 minute walk to the British Museum and Covent Garden.
Firstly, hotel advertises itself as Bloomsbury but technically it is not in Bloomsbury but near W1 BBC. So if you want Bloomsbury you need a taxi. If need to be by the BBC, ideal. Very misleading and would hold the advertiser to account for that. Secondly, hotel is shabby in the room. Ripped carpet, aged bathroom, bed throw that has seen better days. However, it was c...
The Radisson Blu Edwardian Kenilworth is located in Bloomsbury area, closed to the British Museum (about 3 minutes walk) and Russell Square (about 10 minutes walk). I can easily go to the city centre through Tottenham Court Road or Holborn subway station. The hotel has impressive interior design and beautiful decoration. The room is very comfortable with a nice bathroo...
The Russell Hotel over the road is being renovated, which means bed spaces around Russell Square are at a premium. So the Morton Hotel is a real find and I'll definitely be back. We asked for a quiet twin room and room 46 at the back was perfect. There's quite a lot of space for a London room, with a dressing table, wardrobe area, chair and a lovely bathroom with walk-...
I was staying in another hotel during my first 5 days in London, then was off to York for 2N before returning to London for my last 3N, where I was booked at the Principal. I was unsure where best to store a big luggage bag prior to my travel to York as the other hotel's policy did not allow overnight storage . I called up the Principal to get their suggestion and an ...
We had specifically chosen the Euston Square Hotel for a twin room, and its location, so my daughter and I could get a good nights sleep. Unfortunatly when we arrived this was not available - the problem had occurred through the Agoda booking system. So my daughter and I unsatisfactorily had to share a double bed - not conducive to her feeling rested for an important au...
I only stayed 1night! Booked the day before so got a real good room rate. Already knew the grange chain of hotels having helped to build the tower hill hotel a number of years ago. Great location for access to Covent garden and most of the west end. The room was a fair size for a city hotel & it was very clean. The bed was massive & the hotel in general was very nice.
The hotel is is located a 2min walk from Covent Garden and also close to oxford street. It was so convenient for shopping. Easy to pop back to the hotel if we needed. Parking at Bloomsbury square just round the corner, half price if the hotel validates the ticket. Bed and pillows were lovely and comfortable - we had a king size. Will definitely stay here again
You cant really fault this hotel. I'm a Londonder and have stayed here on numerous occasions because for me its fantastic. In terms of appearance it's welcoming, stylish and relaxing. It's a pleasant experience to walk into, especially off of a busy street like TCR. The staff are extremely polite, welcoming and helpful. If you've made a reservation you can easily hav...
I changed hostel this time to stay here. I heard YHA hostel is clean. Yes, that right! Hostel was very clean everywhere. Also very best is 24 hours lounge is open and can eat . Also lounge area is air condition area and TV on service. This is only YHA hostel system . Other hostel has not any aircondition system. Also YHA central has kitchen , so traveler will save ...
The little apartment was so well organised that we did not feel cramped even after five days. And the kitchen was so well equipped with a proper cooker including oven and grill, as well as a microwave, that we were able to cook proper meals instead of heating up take-away, which is what I had expected in such a little place. All credit to the architect for making the s...
Best customer service I have ever seen in a hotel. Check in and check out were very fast and simple; I was given a room before the official check in time. Staff were very nice even when I would drunkenly enter in the later hours of the night with my friends. I was charged a late check out fee but it was a reasonable price and did not come as a surprise since I received...
Everytime I travel to London, I always choose to stay in the Bloomsbury area as its peaceful and everything's within a walking distance. As I was on a short stay, Hilton Euston was a good choice. Its within walking distance to the underground and near a shopping mall. The hotel staff were courteous and helpful and the room we stayed in was good overall
Better than several hotels I have stayed around Euston. It is pricey but way better than the ambassador Bloomsbury! The room, food and service is great. It doesn't look like much from outside but it does impress inside. I stayed on the 1st floor. I wouldn't call it 4star hotel 3 star but I feel many hotels call themselves 4stars around Euston. There's no pool or spa do...
Pros good location close to tube and walking distance of places to eat next door to musiam. Fantastic room we had a basic room which was defonatly not basic with 4 poster bed and fab bathroom. For what we payed would defo go back again. Cons. I wasn't quite shour what too make of the staff member who booked us in and checked us out same person though everyone was nice ...
We booked this hotel on separate nights, we appreciated that they can store one of our luggages until we come back for our second booking, the hotel room is small, but very quiet, and in a very good location, walking distance to a lot of a traction’s . Looking forward to another good stay.
We stayed here just one Saturday night as we were attending a nearby evening event. The next day we went to the British Museum - it was great to arrive there relaxed and fresh rather than after the usual 2-hour journey. A very comfortable and well-equipped flat - good bed and shower. Spare bed was used and I guess you could use the sofabed for additional children. Inc...
Loved the convenience of this location. Just a 10 minute walk to Oxford Street and everywhere is easy to get to because Goodge Station is right on the corner of the street. Staff is friendly and facilities are super clean. Lots of restaurants and bars nearby. Overall a great experience and I would definitely stay here again.
The room offered a lot of space and all the basic amenities I needed for my week-long stay; there weren't a lot of frills but everything was clean and functional. The shared bathroom, which was my one reservation when I initially booked the room, was fine; I never had to wait to use it even though there were many people staying there and it was always clean and ready t...
Booked for one night as we were going to the Theatre. About 15minutes walk from Kings Cross Station might take a bit longer if you had cases and the payment on the way isn’t the best. When we checked in we were asked if we would like a room with a bath or a shower which l thought was a nice touch. We asked for a bath but there was also a shower. Had a couple of drinks ...
Bloomsbury is safe and well located to walk or use public transport. I got a deal otherwise I would not have booked this hotel as like many similar in this area they are old, small and over priced. This hotel "upgraded" me on arrival to their partner hotel which was a bonus in some ways but all a bit odd how handled. I had only booked one night online with the intentio...
The hotel is quite small, but the rooms were very decently sized for a reasonable price. It is located just off Oxford street which is one of the best destinations for any avid shopper. I stayed here for one night in late October. I got a bed in a shared room for very cheap, obviously this is ideal if you're a young traveler on a budget wanting to stay in central London! But saving money can come at the expense of your well being...I have a motto of 'you get what you pay for', and I think next time I'll have to spend a little more for the sake of a go...
I enjoyed a week at the Grange Blooms hotel in Bloomsbury in August 2017. It is adjacent to the British Museum and convenient to the Russell Square underground. It's an old building but very well kept and clean the staff were cordial and accommodating. I highly recommend it.
I had a hard time looking for a hotel that is reasonably priced in London and that is centrally located. So I a stumbled upon this hotel, I was very happy. It was both! The hotel is one of those old and charming buildings in a residential area (close to UCL and the British Museum) that was converted into a hotel. It is very charming inside actually, and had an old Engl...

I did opt for the shared bathroom as tried to keep my trip cheap but the bathroom small toilet shower cubicle was in the basement and I was on third floor, so was a bit of pain, room was great for the money single bed clean well made and had small tv and tea and coffee facilities and sink and mirror, London is the town that never sleeps so had to keep window open due t...
Maybe I was lucky ? I have read some really damning reviews of the hotel but experienced none of the problems mentioned; my ONLY quibble would be thin walls/noisy plumbing. I was in the Annexe in a rear room overlooking a tree rather than a noisy street - that helped! Also the room-only (no breakfast) option is no problem in Bloomsbury...I found a typically filling bre...

During my first night at Charlotte Street apartments, I was put in a double room with a shared bathroom (sharing with a couple in another room). I told the hotel I would be arriving between 5pm and 6pm. I arrived at about 17:20 and the room hadn't been cleaned. I was told to return in an hour, which I did and the room was ready. Possibly had I thought of it, I could ha...
This hotel must be one of the best in its price range. The staff are so pleasant and helpful, and the whole building is spotless. I would definitely stay here again. The breakfast was fabulous and I cannot fault it in any way, except to mention that obviously there is traffic noise in London, so it is not ultra quiet.
Well priced, decent location for what I wanted, and after a little issue with the online booking (Agoda issue, not hotel) all was sorted by the duty manager quickly, and Agoda sorted from their side. Basic basic hotel, but very nice for the purpose - hot shower, sleeping and being central. Will return.
You really can't go wrong for the price. The location is great, the room had everything my business partner and myself needed, was clean and secure. The bathroom is the size of a National Express Coach cubicle but it's much better having that in your room to having to share a bathroom. Also my colleague dropped his wallet outside the room. Staff noticed and alerted us ...
I previously read the reviews below, but in fact, the hotel, rated as two star, was clean and tidy. Linen and sheets were clean as with the towels and toilet accessories provide. I missed the breakfast as I had to leave at 05h00. In all, cheap and cheerful.
We booked this hotel on separate nights, we appreciated that they can store one of our luggages until we come back for our second booking, the hotel room is small, but very quiet, and in a very good location, walking distance to a lot of a traction’s . Looking forward to another good stay.

i stayed in the hotel several times since 2008, every time i see it getting better and more professional, every time i booked this hotel online i read the reviews and people say crazy things lol and i can truly say this place is good, economic, great location with easy-going staff

This hotel is very central. Within walking distance of most theatres, Oxford Street, Leicester Square, Covent Garden, Great Ormond Street Hospital and Piccadilly Circus. My wife and I were both impressed with the Regency House Hotel and would stay again, we were on the third floor (top floor), the room was a good size with fridge and microwave included. Bathroom is small but that was not a problem. The little things like providing travel toothbrushes, toothpaste in addition to shower gel etc were appreciated. Staff were all happy and...
We needed somewhere close to Euston so the Ibis was perfectly situated. We booked through Agoda last July - prepaid and received the appropriate hotel voucher. However, on arrival there was obviously a problem as the hotel had been overbooked due to the International Rugby Tournament particularly because England were playing in London that evening. The staff went to gr...

I stayed for 2 days while weekend, and it was the best option I expected for the money I payed: clean room and bathroom (despite the fact that you share the bathroom with the others), good breakfast (you have to choose 6 items, but drinks, toasts and cornflakes are unlimited), and finally very good location! It's not just next to the main attractions of the city, but h...

It was one night in London together with my mother. After the very early arrival we could leave our baggage at the reception. I read some negative reviews before booking, however I found the hotel well situated just round the corner from Goodge Street tube station, the staff were friendly and helpful, breakfast was included and there was plenty of it. business computer center totally downhill now....plus they screw you on different room prices every night...you can get food and beverages in the hotel bar all night....blocks away from a great pub and from the Underground....safe in the room....stayed in a lot of London hotels, by far the best for the price
I went with my mother. It's not very close to downtown, but you can reach London's attractions in just 15 minutes by subway and bus. Big Ben. Phantom of the Opera. Sherlock homes. Beatles. 4 min away from the British Museum, super-cute hotel, amazing staff, spacious room, with great character, cannot believe that I got to stay there! Recommend it 100%.
The location of the hotel is excellent, the staff was very kind to me and I had a problem with the room type (which is probably a problem of the company I booked) and they did not hesitate and moved me to a luxurious room so that my vacation was perfect
Montague on the Gardens is very charming for its hotel facilities and for its customer service, you will feel the experience right in your very first step at the hotel's doorstep. The front desk staff were great. We were a party of 4 and had two rooms. When they found out we had a special birthday, they upgraded the room from a deluxe to a loft room, which was lovely. We travelled here for a 5 day stay in London with two children ages 6 and 9. When we arrived the front desk staff and conscierge were very welcoming and our children were treated like royalty. I arrived in the wee hours and was pleasantly greeted by the Le Labo scent. I am a fan of Le Labo so this helped with the fatigue from the flight. Very impressed with this small intimate hotel in Bloomsbury. Super comfortable beds with fantastic pillows. Small room but had everything that was needed. Staff carried our luggage to the room-exceptional service. Highly recommended
