We stayed for 3 nights and were lucky enough to have an ocean view room. The bed was so comfortable and it was nice to have a seperate shower. Breakfast had a nice variety. Unfortunately the waves were so rough on these days that we couldn't take a boat taxi to other areas of the island which would have added to the experience of this beautiful island. The hotel was able to arrange a taxi boat for us on departure which was much appreciated. We also enjoyed the beach (only shared by 3 resorts). If you're looking to be in a more secluded area of the island, this place is perfect.

This resort is beautiful and I believe it’s either brand new or was completely redone, but everything is new! I stayed in a two bedroom pool villa, the room rate was absolutely incredible for the value that you get! Room was immaculate, the private pool was absolutely incredible and very big! As far as the property and the service goes, I don’t think it can be beaten anywhere in Cambodia! The only negative and it’s a major negative, restaurant staff was friendly, helpful, just like all the staff there, they were absolutely incredible, but the breakfast in the morning, was very boring and did not have a lot of choices or options! And their lunch and dinner menu to be perfectly honest given the location, they should be ashamed and embarrassed of the menu! No originality, no creativity, and absolutely no love coming from either the chef or the cooks with the food that they prepare and very few seafood options? No crab on the menu, no scallops, no oysters, and the food was basically tasteless and bland! I was with two Cambodian friends, and if you know, Cambodians, they love food! And they will eat basically anything! But even they said it was the worst food they’ve ever eaten! I really hope very quickly, because I talked to other guests that felt the same way about the restaurant, they need to find a chef that has an imagination, and still takes love in what he does and passes it along to his staff, the chef and restaurant manager need to get together like yesterday, And develop a menu for the island in which they are on with lots of seafood options, and I truly believe that if the chef and his cooks start to cook with a little bit of love and care about the food that comes out of their kitchen, this would be the best hotel resort in Cambodia if not one of the finest in Asia! But that restaurant needs someone who cares! They’re just going through the motions right now, they need to love what they’re cooking and they need to be proud of their presentations and they need to provide tasteful food that is not bland and has some flavor! I will be back though definitely! I probably will bring my own food! Or I’ll simply go to the resort next-door to eat my meals, but I will check to see if they have redone their menu or not, and if they have, I will try it again! But if the menu is the same, that means the same, same boring bland food will be coming out of the kitchen With no love or care! Please, please! Work on your menu work on your quality of food work on your menu choices! If they do that, it will surely be the best in Cambodia! And if not, it’ll simply be a nice resort with great customer service and horrendous food!

Our recent stay at One Beach Resort on Koh Rong Samloem was a mixed experience. Unfortunately, the trip got off to a disappointing start when we discovered our room had been overbooked. We had specifically reserved a large room with three beds and a small living area to accommodate our family of five, including three young children. However, we were given two separate small rooms, which was far from ideal for our needs. We brought this issue to the staff’s attention, and while we appreciated their offer of compensation—30% off food and drinks along with a complimentary set dinner meal—it still didn’t fully make up for the inconvenience of not having the space we had planned for. Throughout our stay, the overall service left much to be desired. A significant portion of the staff (70-80%) responded to our requests with attitude and seemed dismissive, especially when interacting with our children. Simple requests were often brushed off with a “no” or a shush, which felt unwelcoming. Additionally, food service was consistently slow, with meals taking 30-45 minutes to arrive, even when the restaurant was mostly empty. That said, there were a few bright spots during our stay. The team truly went above and beyond for the complimentary set dinner, and they surprised our child with a fruit cake for her birthday, which was a lovely gesture. A few standout staff members made our stay more pleasant: Sengthai at check-in and Vida and Boren at the restaurant were consistently warm, friendly, and professional. Their excellent service is exactly what one hopes for in a hospitality experience, and we made sure to express our gratitude with both tips and kind words for their efforts. In conclusion, while there were moments of kindness and professionalism, the overall experience fell short of expectations, primarily due to the room mix-up and the generally underwhelming service from most of the staff. The resort has potential, and the outstanding efforts of certain team members give hope that with more consistent training and attention to guest needs, future stays could be much more enjoyable.

My family of 4 - including a 15 and 13 year old, just left 1 Beach and we seriously regret not staying for longer. The food is fantastic, although the menu could add a few more options - possibly a weekly special item, as well as including the description of what is in the meal and not just the name. Perhaps an additional few kayak paddles as there were not enough for the available kayaks. Other than that, we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and were made to feel very welcomed. The fact that it is quite isolated and on a small beach, was the ideal getaway for us. The boat trip, which included snorkeling over a choral bed, fishing, snorkeling with Plankton and a scrumptious dinner was a highlight. Unfortunately, due to Bchum Ben on Thursday, we were able to hire a guide to go quad biking, but this was okay as we spent an awesome day on the beach. We will definitely make this our go to place when visiting again in the future.

Villa we stayed is amazing, large clean and nice. Beach is huge and clean. Place is very quiet and peaceful. However somewhat isolated. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Breakfast that was included was very nice. However food at restaurant wasnt that good, portions were small and prices were completely ridiculous for that. There's few places nearby that offer much better food for same prices or less. TLDR if you want quiet good beach to relax and swim, this place is for you.
