Love this place
Place is a little tricky to find but you will manage. Very comfortable for a good night rest and we appreciate that there is many parking lots.

Good location, less than 5 minutes drive to place of attraction, comfortable place with car park. No lift.
Location was only a 10 mintutes walk away from Seongsan Ichilbong. A lot of restaurants and cafe (Mega Coffee, Starbucks, etc).) We had to check in late but the process was seamless.
We stayed at the pension to go to Udo island and Seongsan Ilchulbong. Very convenient and value for money. Room was said to have seaview but not much view actually. But the environment is pleasant and quiet.
Did not stay in Bomulseom Pension. Room has only partial seaview, unlike what was described on booking website. Bath towels size of hand towels. No contact with any staff to comment on this.
The best apartment near Seongsan Ilchulbong, we rented 2 bedrooms apartment complete with kitchen, 7mins walking distance to Seongsan Ilchulbong and near bus stops, We went directly with bus 112 from airport at 21.10 and arrived there around 22.20.

It's a spacious apartment with air conditioning in the living room. The decoration is a bit outdated. Overall is OK.
A cosy place to stay. Feels like home. The room was clean. There were pots and pans and utensils provided, though we rarely use as most of the time we were exploring the island. The pension is near to Seongsan crater and Seong-san port. There are also eateries nearby. Very convenient. It was a great place to stay!
It has a large parkinglot and the ocean/sunset viéw from the balcony is the keypoint of this place. You can see the sun setting on hanra mountain from the room/balcony. The facilities inside the room is a bit outdated, but my room has memoryfoam metress at least wich was a lot better than the spring metresss. With asmall upgrade, lighting and such...this place will be a lot more attractive and well worth stay. Very close to the seongsan ilchulbong by foot. The owner is very accommodating.

Clean, cheap, alot of parking space. The staff was friendly and helpful.
We booked here since we have early morning trip to Udo Island. But they dont provide any iron, so it became inconvenience
The room is as advertised. They have an older staff but the place is very clean and well-maintained. The process for check-in and check-out is no frills, no hassle. Truly commendable. Seongsan Ilchubong is walkable.
Nice pension. No lift. Near to many eating places. Soft bed.
The pension needs a little touch up. The toilet and shower is together, quite inconvenient. Other than that, the pension is good.
For the price, the room is big with 2 beds, own balcony with kitchen. Great views! No hassle when we arrived late at night. They provided towel and water refills. Many parking spaces. Super near Seongsan Ilchulbong and port to Udo. Great value for money!

It’s old but clean like everyone said, so I thought it’s gonna be fine at first. But then the hair dryer engine exploded while I was using, fire sparks fell on my stomach ruining my pants and left few small burnt injuries on my skin. I told the owner but she was like oh too bad and nothing else. I told her I was scared and my pants were ruined because of it, but she didn’t seem to be eager to take responsibility or even apologize. I could have been hurt more badly if it’s not thanks to the pants, but because I look fine she didn’t seem to even care to ask of I’m alright. I guess as long as she gets the accommodation fees, your well-being is of no matter, even though the danger is caused by the facility itself. The cleanliness is all thanks to the Chinese housekeeper, not her, and some facilities are really running down. The air ventilation inside the toilet of my room is not working. There are two light bulbs in the room and one barely makes any light. The wifi connection is on and off. The hot shower spit out cold water from time to time. I don’t know about the other room though. But I wouldn’t suggest anyone to stay here and tolerate these poor facilities. Go stay somewhere else. You deserve better. Don’t try your luck here because I don’t want anyone to be in my shoes in the future.
Booked a night here as it's near Seongsan Ilchubong and I wanted to hike up for the sunrise. Room was very spacious, great window view. Only small con was the wifi connectivity - was rather unstable and I did not know what to connect to. (I arrived rather late and did not want to bother the staff to ask questions on it - so that's on me)

We loved our room. It came with a kitchenette complete with cooking utensils. It also has a mini-dining area separated to our bedroom. The bathroom was clean and the wifi was fast. At the entrance of the pension there were coffee machine and water dispenser which saved us from buying water. There are many convenience stores and restaurants nearby. It was walking distance from Seongsan Ilchulbong and a short drive to the port going to Udo Island. Highly recommended.
The sea view was nice but the place is old, facilities worn,

The price is very very reasonable. Just note that there is no lift hence, pack light if not you will have to lug your luggages. If not location and all, great and very accessible especially with driving:)

Near to Seongsan ilchulbong. The unit was nice and comfortable with heated floor. The balcony also facing the water and has a beautiful view.
There is no staff during check in and room key are left at counters with your name on sticky pad on it. I did not get to met any staffs during my 2 days stay at the pension. I was expecting to see sunrise from the balcony but too bad my room is facing west side instead. Pros is location is super near to seongsan ilchubong which is 3min drive/5min walk from pension. Overall its a good stay to save some money.

this was a gem.. its barely 10mins walk away from ilchibong seongsan. I was glad to have the room very near to the reception, felt safe as I was travelling solo. room was big and spacious with balcony overlooking the ocean and clean cooking facilities. perhaps it looks a little dated but I don't mind as it is clean and at such a great price
Great place with private parking lots. I don't have to worry on parking and it is nearby to the convenient mart and foods. We don't have to drive there just by walking and enjoy the breeze at night is enjoyable as well.
This is truly a lovely place to stay in Seongshan, and it is so near to the Sunrise Peak. The host is friendly and everything is so well taken care of. We drove and took us two rounds to find this place, the signboard is a little obscure, a small road behind Co-op city hotel. Highly recommended to stay in this charming quaint pension.
This pension is better than expected. I was sad that I only stayed for 1 night. The double room was fully furnished with kitchen, TV, large bathroom, and the closet has bidet! So comfy for moslem travelers.
The overall room was more than okay! Especially considering the price and the location. The beds were fine and the bathroom and kitchen too, but the room was overall a bit outdated. Nonetheless, we enjoyed our stay!
Near cheongsan harbor and sunrise peak
The place was about a 7min walk from the bus stop, and easily walkable to the udo island ferry port and seongsan ilchulbong. The elderly couple were nice but seemed to not know English, I communicated with them in subpar Korean. The room and view was nice. Generally clean and homey

I think it is good for families, not for solo travelers.
The location was really splendid: from my room I had a spectacular view of the bay to watch the sunset and from the communal balcony I could watch the sunrise. The hotel is conveniently close to bus stops and grocery marts, as well as touristy things in the area e.g. Seongsan and Udo ferry terminal. Furthermore, the room was clean and had everything I needed. It wasn't fancy, but it had an indoor balcony, a large TV and the bed and pillows were comfy. I may even stay again.
Nice room with a balcony. A larger, nastier hotel (Co-Op--don't stay there) built a massive expanse that blocked most views from older pensions & minbaks, but this pension retains somewhat of a view, and you should stay there to support them. No, I don't work there, hehe, I was just shocked at the audacity of the newer hotel. Rooms here were clean, and the pension is conveniently located to visit restaurants in town, and also walk to the Udo ferry port. Great value, too.
STAFF : Once we arrived, the staff was not there. We have to wait almost 30 minutes to check in. It was an old lady. But she was so nice. However since it was an old women who handle the reception, she take some time to use the PC and kind of slow. ROOM : Room equipment was good. However it was not well maintained. The air heater is not function. So we have to bear the coldness in this room. Luckily at midnight, the heater from the floor was turn on by the reception. Besides that, water heater not functioning well. It turn out to be too hot and too cold. No warm water instead. So we had to shower in a coldness. Conclusion, there is plenty of similar price of hotel in that area. You may have more good experience with other hotel than this.
