Camden hotels & places to stay

Initially had a few issues with the entry code, but the support team is available 24 hours a day. The apartment is extremely clean. The location has wonderful. If you're staying in the Camden area this spot is amazing. It is a bit noisy as I don't think the windows are double glazed other than that I would highly recommend this place and would stay here in the future.

Booked a standard Double Room, When i arrived they tried to give me a lower ground , inside room without window. My confirmation letter & email confirmed otherwise. After standing my ground & long wait I received the room I booked. Hotel in nice quiet area of Hampstead, Local bus round the corner 3mins away, for travel into Camden Town/market, change there for central London. Northern Line Tube at Chalk Farm 2 bus stops away.

I had booked a family room for 2 nights as this had a double and a single in the room I had a colleague staying with me for one night and needed separate beds. The 1st room I was given only had a double in but once I had shown reception my booking with a family room, I was quickly moved to the correct room. Other than that, the hotel was great. Clean and quiet. Gym isn't the best but there's enough to tide you over. The restaurant hasn't got a massive selection but again, there's enough to keep you going and of course, there's plenty nearby.

We were surprised and felt warm that concierge team have provided us a bottle of water each upon check in especially after we were tired from dragged our luggages all the way from train station to hotel. Hotel dinner and breakfast is good. F&B service staff are always approachable. Only Front office staff might need to improve efficiency of their check in and check out process.

What a lovely experience! We arrived earlier, but the lady let us in anyway to recover from the long journey. The room was huge for London standards, the shower was strong, the bed was comfy (double but on the small side) and we enjoyed the peace and quiet. Not far from London Zoo, Camden, cool shops and the Tube (although we also used the bus to enjoy the city views). They give you a 10% discount to a local cafe, Fego, which I absolutely recommend! What a find! The chef is a genious and the bacon addictive... coffee lovers you found your destination. However, the absolute highlight of our stay was the cleanliness. One word: spotless!

It is a pleasant hotel. It has to be seen in the context that the rates are very reasonable for London accommodation. For the price: It is clean and the staff are very polite. (Thank you, Alexandria) There is a good continental breakfast. The beds are very comfortable and the showers are very nice. The location is in a nice part of Hampstead with the tube station nearby. It feels good and safe without the crowds but there are lots of amenities just a few steps away. The decorations are stylish. The rooms are small and there are no lifts so if guests already expect that, then there will be no unpleasant shocks. It is a 3 storey walk up. It is suited to mobile travellers, on the go. It starts you off with a nice breakfast and welcomes you back with nice powerful showers and a good bed. And you don't feel you have paid too much. I will be back.

I love staying in the Camden hostel!! So easy to get to and really cheap :) great rooms and a lovely venue/ My only issue here was the fact that the room was SOOO HOTTT argh I was up on the highest third bunk bed and was like a sauna :( they really should turn the heating off and gave me a right headache all the next day but had a great time other than that and will definitely be coming back again soon!!

I booked this hotel for easy access to the theatre district in London. While it is within walking distance to tube stations, the 20 minutes was not very convenient with luggage or late at night. The hotel is on a fairly busy main road, & not near many amenities. This hotel was comfortable & clean. Breakfast options are either continental (a substantial buffet including fresh pastries) or full English. All in all, the hotel is better suited for someone with a car &/or for business meetings/conferences.

Booked at very short notice (we had previously booked the Britannia Hotel Hampstead, but having seen our dingy room left within 20 minutes)! A quick call to the Camden Enterprise and we 'hotfooted' it over there. Very clean, contemporary rooms, the staff were welcoming and friendly. (Especially the young lady on reception, (blue jeans/green top) great attitude)). Breakfast in the pub downstairs is excellent. Well located for Camden attractions and the underground. We will definitely book again.

Very friendly and full of character, Clean and thoughtfully equipped with excellent service. Excellent value. The hotel is directly on the busy Heath Street, but we had a very quiet room on the back,. The only thing you should be aware of is that the internal walls are very thin, so you will hear every cough/snore etc from adjacent rooms, if that bothers you. Earplugs are thoughtfully provided.

Hotel had nice rooms, and appeared as a small hotel with good service. Breakfast was served by attentive staff and had everything we expected. Good value for money. Hotel was close to underground, so it felt very sentral even though it was outside the city center. Quiet area and free parking right outside the front entrance. This is one of the hotels I was so satisfied with that I don´t really want to recommend it, because that may contribute to the hotel being fully booked next time I go to London.

The location of the hotel was both good and bad. It was exactly where we needed it to be for our visit to London, however the room faced the main rod and was very noisy. The fact there were ear plugs on the bedside table was the warning sign! We booked a twin room but on arrival had been given a double (no good for me and my 6’5”tall son). We were swapped to the disabled access room which was ok but we obviously didn’t need the walk in shower and lower level tables etc. Also there was no hot water from the basin on the evening of our arrival.

This was perfect for my needs as a business traveler. The bed was comfortable, hotel and surroundings were quiet, the shower was hot and powerful and the room was secur. That's all I really need when I'm travelling for work. Compared to chain hotels I was really pleased to have a room with a sofa, with big windows that I could open, free wi-fi and a good desk and chair. There was also a fridge - something which used to be commonplace and I really appreciated this extra touch. TV had a good selection of channels but was a little on the small side and could only be seen from the bed. The room was very large with high ceilings which should help keep it cool in summer - no aircon but not required or expected. Check-in staff were friendly and efficient, as was check-out. Good selection of local services available mean that I will definitely stay there again. It is let down a little by being a bit shabby in places - worn stair carpets and some wallpaper marks but that's the only negative.

Hotel is 15 or so mins walk from Euston and recently we've been to a couple of events in Camden and Kentish, so absolutely ideal. Don't be put off by underground being next door(ish) and although you cab hear when in below street level rooms, didn't bother us. It's tidy, well maintained, close to where we needed and loads of places for food, drink and entertainment nearby. Had a little issue last time with payment but Agoda and Hurdwick management sorted this immediately, excellent service to rectify. All in all, it's a convenient little place and a short walk you're either in London or the hubbub or lively Camden.

Location is central Camden, close to Tube, buses and markets. Markets are fab. Lots of restaurants nearby as well as supermarkets to buy groceries and fast food outlets. Quick trip by Tube to central London. Apartment was clean and spacious. Had everything we needed to cook, wash clothes etc. Housekeeping were very quick to respond to requests. The only negativewould be our apartment could only be accessed by a staircase...over 50 stairs [we were top floor ] with a 25kg suitcase...not good for older clients and clients with a disability/injury or just not fit!! The view was great though!

The hostel is located above a restaurant/bar and was pretty clean. The bed was comfy and there was a place to lock up your belongings while you're out. There was just one bathroom in the 8 bed dorm so there was a bit of a wait sometimes in the morning but that's to be expected! Staff was friendly and helpful, and the hostel is just a 2-3 minute walk from the Tube and about a 5 minute walk to the Camden Market. Lots of pubs and restaurants in the area too. I'd stay here again!

I would thoroughly recommend this Hotel. It was absolutely spotless, located in a really convenient position, approximately 15 minutes walk from Camden town.The room even had its own fridge. We had a room at the back, so traffic noise was not so bad. Breakfast was simple:toast,cereal,cheese,ham & jams. Really good value for money. I can't actually think of any negative points. I would definitely visit again.

Contact number rang out with non-UK dial tone. Apartment stunk of stale cigarette smoke. Dirt included filthy work tops in kitchenette and mouldy lettuce in fridge. Smoke alarm had been ripped out of the ceiling. Light in main bedroom did not work. Apartment is supposed to sleep four. Be aware that two of those four have to sleep on battered, dirty, smelly, old couches. Agent promised to fix issues and refund 'some money' for the unacceptable conditions. Have heard nothing since. 'Comfort' is not the word that comes to mind.

I only stayed here for 1 night but it was definitely a great stay - staff were friendly and helpful, and the room was spacious (shower cubicle was a bit small though), comfortable, and clean. As a former Girl Guide, I was also pleasantly surprised to witness a flag-raising ceremony in the beautiful courtyard the next morning! I would definitely recommend this place for female travellers looking to escape the chaos of the city without going outside of zone 2. Belsize Park station is just a short walk away, and so is the gorgeous Hampstead Heath and Parliament Hill!
