I booked in this hotel twice already. It is very near SLEC where I had my medical exam. The rooms were tidy and clean as well as the towels and the beddings. The food at Kantina Sabel is so yummy. I love the lutong bahay they serve at lunch. My favorite part of my stay was the friendly atmosphere the staff provided. All the staff were very warm, friendly and approachable. They never failed to greet me with a smile. One thing that bothered me though was the noisy aircon. I am very sensitive to sounds so it was bothersome. This can be improved, I think, moving forward. Overall, I had a pleasant stay at Casa Bocobo Hotel and will definitely return soon. Highly recommended!

Yes, the hotel is old and gray, but the service it provides is very remarkable, which is the reason why this hotel consistently gets good rating and people keep on coming back to them. We booked an executive room - very spacious, clean and decent. They cleaned our room without us telling them to do so and all stocks were replaced and used toiletries were replenished. The room smells refreshing and relaxing. The employees were all-smiles and greeted us whenever we see them wherever. They attended to our needs right away, again with all smiles and respect. Parking was just in the street but security guards attended to the vehicles and ensured everything's well.

Just what I was looking for”
Just what I was hoping for, better than I expected. All staff were very helpful and all greated you with a smile. New item; there was a safe in my room. A big plus even though I didn't use it. Attached resturant was tasty, busy and very affordable. Droves of locals come in to eat so expect rush crowds. One thing I would say the resturant needs are condiments on the table; salt, pepper, soy sauce, vinegar.

Clean and good location”
The room is basic (bed, ref, safe, clothes cabinet, cable TV, wifi) but clean. I didn't smell any tobacco smoke, but when I asked, staff told me that some guests smoke in their rooms. I thus recommended that (a) no smoking signs be posted prominently, e.g. at reception, in the corridors, and on the guest room table/door (in addition to the small and unnoticeable sign in the bathroom), and (b) penalties for smoking in rooms be increased to as high as USD 200 to 300 per violation (as a cleaning fee) as done in some other hotels. Bed was firm; pillows were too firm (should be softer). Wifi is fast enough but sometimes spotty, and it was off one of the days of my stay but was fixed within 24 hours. Staff are very friendly and courteous. Breakfast has good variety. No elevator; stairs may be challenging for the elderly or those with lots of bags, but staff are ready to help carry bags up/down stairs. Car parking is quite limited.
