I had a memorable and wonderful stay in this hotel. The facilities of this hotel are probably the best in Cambodia. The room is beautiful, especially the suite I lived in. I think the room is better than their counterparts of 4-star hotels and comparable to the 5-star hotels in Hong Kong/Macau. What I like the best is their serivce. I and my gf forgot to print out the e-tickets for the domestic flight, but the reception staff are really helpful and let us use their computer to print them out. Moreover, they helped us to pack a refreshing take-away breakfast for the flight in the very early morning.

Price was cheap, walk in price was 39 for weekdays 44usd for weekend, the price is included with breakfast. 7 minute walking to Naga Hotel, surround got a lot of things to eat and also a shopping center at the ground floor. Great city view. but I encounter the staff come in to fix my TV problem at 9 in the morning, it is annoying. Otherwise their facilities was super good with pool, gym and steam room for free.

This hotel was completely unexpected. When we arrived we were warmly greeted by the staff who were extremely friendly. My friend and I were backpacking to Cambodia but intended to stay at someplace nicer than the usual hostels, but for the price given, we certainly did not expect such luxury! The bell boy was an adorable and friendly young chap who gave us plenty of tips and advice. The reception staff were also very pleasant and were willing to help us despite their limited English. The room itself was AMAZING. We were thrilled to see how huge and well-decorated it was! Maybe because we had been backpacking so our expectations were kinda low. But having been to hotels of the same standard, this was truly one of the best. We had a welcome drink, cold towel to freshen up with, complimentary tropical fruits, and was blown away with the technology used for the switches in the room. Breakfast spread was decent. The pancake in particular was soft and yummy. But we were slightly disgusted by the insects that swarmed the vegetables and fruits. The only major complain I have is with the housekeeping. I'm not sure what is the system for housekeeping like in this hotel but for the 3 nights we were there, we were woken up every morning by the housekeeping staff even though we were not ready to head out yet. I understand that different hotels adopt different systems, but for a hotel of this standard, we expected better. To make things worse, even though we requested for them to come back later, they never did. For the entire duration of our stay, not once was our room made up, unfortunately. Thankfully we were very much pleased with every other aspect of the hotel, especially with the warmth and friendliness of the staff at the lobby, so we didn't kick up a fuss about the housekeeping matters. Location was great. Close to bars, eateries and even salons. A 24 hour minimart is also a short 2 min walk away, which was very convenient. Well done Katari Hotel!

I have stayed here several times and this time was excellent as well. Staff performance was perfect such as calling taxi daily morning and catching small gecko in my room, etc. The best was swimming pool, their staffs were not distracting but quietly helpful. Not come to talk to me first but always wait for any request. I cannot find better place to stay in phnom penh beside of this hotel and I will stay Sofitel again as I always used to.

This hotel is bit hard to find, it's tucked into an alleyway off Street 51 (Pasteur). My tuk tuk driver had to stop and ask a local how to find it. It's nice to be off the street though. The reception area is beautiful and the staff were very nice. My room was very nice too, very comfortable with a nice shower. I found the best reason to stay here once I went up to the restaurant and pool. The restaurant has a variety of seating areas, bar, tables, lounge, each with a great view. The best part is up a flight of stairs where you can also sit, then another flight of stairs to the rooftop pool. I arrived at night and it was amazing. I wish I had been able to stay longer to take full advantage of the pool but I had to fly out in the morning. They do have a happy hour which I would recommend for everyone, even if you're not staying at the hotel. The food I had was fresh and tasty. There was construction noise during the little bit day I was there, but I feel like that's true of almost all the lovely little hotels in this area. It was quiet at night which is the most important to me. I would recommend this hotel and stay here again (or at least visit for happy hour!).

Spent a night there and will be back. We have arrived late after long day of driving,- check in was Very efficient and in no time we got our rooms. We have booked 3 "Normal" rooms, But for some reason (No complaints!), The three of us got an upgrade which was nice and appreciated. My colleagues have been upgraded to a landmark room which was big and nice, and myself was upgraded to a suite which boasted a kitchen and wonderful built in cabinet, No use for an over night stay but can certainly fit longer, extended stays. the hotel has a Mini swimming pool built under the building and Sauna which is oddly located next to massage rooms so NO privacy but usable and actually took advantage of it in the morning. Breakfast is Buffet style and is sufficient, Not amazing but definitely in par or even better then competition in town in around same price per night values. we arrived with a car and could park in front of the hotel which was manned with two guards 24 hours. In the morning Upon check out it turned out the one of my tires was flat and the staff assisted with replacing. Even met the owner briefly when he stopped by and promised me that its all under control and his staff will handle it for us,- very kind. the hotel has a tuk tuk, And when i came out at night not wanting to drive, one of the guards drove me to my destination using there tuk tuk, with no cost beside free will tip. all in all, Nice hotel, well designed considering its a renovation and not new built, well equipped rooms, clean and well maintained. will be back! thank you.

We recently stayed for 10 days at the Double Leaf Boutique Hotel. We used the hotel as a base while visiting a mission work we support. The location near Russian Market allowed for "walking tourism" yet the entire city was only a few tuk-tuk moments away. The length of our stay was unusual, as most guests seemed to stay two or three days. The morning breakfast was well done. What we enjoyed the most of it was the "bed and breakfast" atmosphere of it- speaking to other guests, sharing experience. We conversed with guests from Austria, Germany, England, Canada, New Zealand, south Asia, and the middle east. Because of our extended stay, we observed the staff over many days, not just "one overnight". The staff was CONSISTENTLY helpful, friendly, and courteous. The small hotel offered a menu / table area (as well as room service) that made lunch, dinner, evening bar available all day- not just at set hours This was a good option at times, though other restaurants were available within the same block The decor was well done, personally executed it appeared. Lighting in the room was "atmospheric" though brigtness was not as strong as I would have liked. .Two "decor" areas that were less helpful is the three steps necessary to climb and wait for the elevator on a small area. Also, the bedrooms had a "beautiful to look at" area of stone, pebbles by the sink. Serene. However the stones were loose and not forgiving if you stepped on them. Also, the toilet was through the edge of the shower. Therefore you stepped over the "shower rim" into the shower space, then stepped up to the toilet. It caused us to be careful each time we used it, especially in the middle of the night. Since most guests found this hotel on line, I would commend that it lives up to its advertising, representing itself well.

You should be proud of your team, as they are absolutely the best! I can hardly recall any other hotel, where service would be so immaculate, polite and friendly. Very sincere staff at the reception, always ready to help. We had an emergency and had to go to hospital at 1 am, everyone was very helpful with organizing. If housekeeping lady didn't understand my question , she wouldn't just smile and ignore it, she would contact reception for translation. Those small things do count! Due to the construction works outside the hotel, we asked to change the room , as we were with the baby, it was done without any delay. Restaurant downstairs serves decent food at fair price. Again , service was just great! Some of the rooms do require work on it, as there was a bit of mole and ants, but thanx to the quick reaction of hotel staff we didnt feel it to be a problem. Maybe not the best choice for families with babies, but definitely would recommend this hotel!

The place is very nice and the staff were friendly. The facilities were excellent. I gave 3 stars for the staff because I arranged the pick up long time like three weeks ahead of the arrival and I checked again the day that we would arrive. They forgot the pickup arrangement. When we got to the airport they sent only one car when I told them we needed a van three weeks ago and confirmed again that morning. I paid for the pick up it wasn't for free. I was disappointed about that. We were put on the first floor and all we could see was a ruin building.

It's a new hotel opened only several months when we stayed, so the decroation style is morden combined with local elements. On the otherside, there are some problems with the facilities, we changed room 3 times during our 2 nights' stay, due to various issues. The good is stuff can reponse quickly to the issues, and changed rooms for us. We booked twin room, room is good, but without window. And at night traffic noise from nearby street will come into room, not loud (I was not influenced), but if your sleep quality is not good, you should consider it. Stuff and very warm-hearted and helpful. Breakfast, maindish ordered with buffet fruit and drink, is tasty.

I can't find fault with this hotel. It's well-placed, it's clean, it's got wifi and everything else you'd need for business, a nice little cafe, it's got an incredibly friendly and helpful staff. The room I was in was spacious and comfortable, with fresh fruits being provided every afternoon. The little swimming pool is good enough for some morning swimming - or afternoon if you're that way inclined. Probably the best value for money I've found in Southeast Asia. Highly recommended.

If i could give them more stars I would give them 10 out of 5!!! Those guys are really doing a good job... I couldn't recommend enough to go to this hotel!!! This is the best in PP; Owner and GM are really lovely and present all the time at your service, with their staffs, who are more than helpfull, smiley and professionals. Always happy to give advices and tips for visits. Rooms (confort and suites, yes we did both) are really nice, cute, clean and all the best adjectif my frenglish could find!!! Little nice chocolates on bed everyday, and i actually asked them to prepare romantic flowers on the bed to surprise my fiancée (free of charge) with a nice bottle of taitinger champagne $78, everything was amazingly perfect!!!! The restaurant serves really tasty and affordable food (and affordable good wines also!!!!), staff gives you a really attentive and efficient service all day long and the included breakfast is better than every hotel i stayed (really good tasty portion and good choices) Wifi is really good, lot of choice everywhere in hotel. Spa and massages are the best in town, the masseuses are more than proffesionel and attentive!!!! What can i say more... To all Iroha staff, thanks again for our stay, it was a really special occasion for us, and you all did make us feel at home; hope you ll provide the same level of service to everyone who come to your hotel, because our experience was unforgettable... Great and friendly staff. The service is impeccable! The à la carte breakfast is excellent with a variety of interesting choices. The pool is great and we would recommend visiting in the morning and enjoying the pool in the afternoon. The clientele is mixed. It is next to Arthur and Paul. We did have a drink there in the evening and found it quite busy. We're glad that we stayed at Rambutan. We also enjoyed the dinner that we had one evening. Boeung Trabaek area, close to the Russian market and Sovanna Phum theatre; between Chamkar Mon and Phsar Thmey. Khmer Surin and Malis restaurants are close by - walking distance to Tuol Sleng if that's what you want! It needs more clothes hangers and hooks, which I got when requested. The breakfast omelets were very nice and made to order. Very accommodating and courteous staff!

Spent two nights in this hotel and the highlight of our stay was the ala carte breakfast that we get to order every morning. Breakfast was absolutely delicious and there is good variety (Continental, western, asian). There were tuk-tuk drivers parked opposite the hotel and displayed the hotel's name on the tuk-tuk itself. We hired this driver, Pao (number 3 tuk-tuk) for a day tour to the killing fields, russian market, S21 museum and Aeon mall. Definitely recommend to hire Pao as your driver as he is honest and trustworthy. He also makes sure to drive slowly over bumps so you don't get a rocky ride on the uneven roads going towards the killing fields. The hotel beds were comfortable and room was clean. One thing that the hotel could improve on is to better furnish the shower room as it is basically four painted walls with a corner wall shelf. There was a rain shower, but no hooks/bar installed for hanging clothing/towel. Other than this, everything else was wonderful.

My second visit after two years, everything was the same. and you just feel like you are back home again. The room - same room same design, everything worked well like before .. Clean room, fresh flowers in the bathroom.... Everything was perfect.. The crew... that's the best part... the crew remembered me even after two years... they just a bunch of wonderful people... they make you so comfortable and attend to your need immediately.. just an example.. my room safe was low in battery, and I informed the crew, they just replaced the battery within minutes... and that was excellence.. Everyone including the owner will talked to you and make sure your stay was great... The special touch makes A&P special... Yes.. The service .... Breakfast was tasty and they served a big portion.. everything was perfect... and in evening, the serve the best cocktails and the price was reasonable too.... 100% recommend this hotel to everyone who visit Phnom Penh... and will be back again in future.

I stayed here while showing my elderly father around Cambodia. The staff are the best thing about the hotel, they are friendly, polite, compassionate and will go to any length to accommodate you. The rooms are perfect, well worth the money. The chef makes great food. The pool is refreshing. This hotel is new and was exactly what everyone looks for in an affordable family hotel. Near to laundry mart, restaurant, 24 hr mart. Their breakfast is good. The staff were extremely polite and helpful with my requests for assistance. The room is bigger than other the same level hotel I used to stayed. I really recommend if you are looking for 3 Star hotel to stay in Phom Penh, Relax Hotel is the best choice.

One of the best hotels i’ve ever stayed in phnom phen. Welcoming staffs ，clean and spaceful room. I booked the executive suite which sits at 11th floor，it has a big balcony and really really great views to the city，maybe the best in phnom phen i guess：）. Location of the hotel is very excellent too，u can get access to many resturaunts cafes and gyms within just a few hundred steps. Me and my girl friend really enjoyed our stay here. If u want to feel some elegance i will recommand u Sofitel ，if u want to feel the vibe of this city ，i will recommand feliz with no hesitation.

Comprehensive view of location, convenience, amount, high cost performance. Good for business people. This time I stayed executive room. They said just finished Renovation so I felt lucky. It looked pretty new and very comfortable, bed mat is hight quality consider about the price. Amenities such as natural shampoo were good. My hair became smooth next day. Clean and well maintenance, everything is comfortable. Staff are lovely and helpful. They can speak good English. There is a restaurant Lan Ping in side hotel. If you want to use projector, they can provide and they have also private room. And this restaurant serves Chinese food and some Khmer dishes, which are also popular among people living in Cambodia. All food are good cost performance and reasonable like about $5 to $10 each food, even at the $ 25 course you can eat dishes with rare 'swallow's nest' good for anti-aging. I think that if you eat it in Japan it would cost about over $150 to 200. It was very convenient. Because it is situated in an easy-to-understand place on the main street, taxi driver surely arrives by saying the name of this hotel so I felt safe. My friend stayed in a loft type room, he said he was very good. A loft type room is rare in Cambodia. And we can enjoy swimming pool and small gym. The location is perfect and this hotel is 500 meters to the Japanese embassy, ​​Aeon Mall is within 1 km, Central Market is 3 k to about. Despite its convenient location it is very quiet. Hotel size is good. Not too big and not too small.

We had a really nice two days here. We stayed here to relax before taking the plane back home. They have a few bikes you can use, a nice pool, the restaurant has good food and in the morning you can choose your breakfast from a large list of options. The staff was lovely and always ready to help us. The only small remark I can make was about the bathroom, which was absolutly great (big, clean, rainshower), only there seemed to be a construction fault in the shower whereby the water didn't all run into the grid and wettened the shower and toilet area. But after so many days of horrible bathrooms in SEA, this was a dream!

After two and a half months in Asia, Molyan was perhaps one of our favourite hotels. The staff were incredibly polite and go the extra mile. The room was spacious, clean and the bed was comfy. The breakfast in the morning was a nice selection of fruits, bread, eggs and cold meats. We ate one night in the roof top bar which was reseasonanly priced with a great view. The building is tucked down a side street away from the hustle and bustle meaning we always got a good night's sleep. If visiting Phnom Penh again we wouldn't stay anywhere else.

Business-style hotel conveniently located in BKK1 just a block away from the new Noro Mall. Small, clean rooms with fresh linens. There is a pint-sized pool in the courtyard, which unlike many in PP is cleaned regularly and suitable for an afternoon dip. Contrary to earlier reviews, I found the venetian blinds in the rooms did fully close and offer privacy, but let in too much light early in the morning.

I stay in Phnom Penh hotels approximately once a month, and my endless search for the perfect Phnom Penh hotel brought me to The Almond Hotel. I was attracted to this property as the owners run two of Phnom Penh’s top restaurants, and it markets itself to the Business Market (potential return customers require higher service standards than usually ‘one visit’ tourists). The Almond Hotel prices itself in the mid-range market, yet easily delivers 5 star, high-end market, facilities and services. This hotel is luxurious, well appointed and very well run. I have no negative comments to make about this very well thought through and stylish property. Service was consistently impeccable, polite, efficient and friendly. The rooms have all of the usual 4* amenities (AC, Minibar, Plasma Screen, DVD Player, bathroom toiletries etc) The bed was large and comfortable, blackout curtains were much appreciated in Phnom Penh’s strong sunshine, and the shower had excellent water pressure. Free breakfast was superb – with a range of western and Asian dishes available. On some days they offered a buffet breakfast, which was also very high quality and wide ranging in variety. The hotel is well located for most Government Ministries in Tonle Bassac, Norodom, NGO’s in BKK1 and tourist sites in the central area. There are always tuk-tuk drivers outside waiting to take visitors to any area of the city. The most notable characteristic of the Almond is it’s understated style. Drawing on the best of French, Khmer and Chinese design, and blending them in a beautifully tasteful and stylish manner. I’ll be back !

Cannot recommend La Rose enough. We enjoyed three amazing nights there. Fantastic and comfortable room, excellent bathroom, comfy robes and super friendly staff who could not do enough for you. I enjoyed 20% off relaxing reflexology, and a traditional Kmer massage at the spa as a guest and we booked kmer cooking class with Banana Kitchen and the wonderful chef Touch (I believe the restaurant and hotel are one and the same)Touch went with us to source our ingredients at the local market, taught us how to cook a traditional three course meal and then we had it for our lunch. Small pool, but is to be expected in the location and Phnom Penh has so much recent history to learn about you won't want to be sitting around the pool. Hotel is on one of the less busy streets but tuk tuk is easy to hail to take you anywhere. The food was a little more pricey than what you can find out and about but absolutely worth every penny. Great vegetarian options too. Best curry we've had in Cambodia.

I stayed here on a solo trip for 3 nights. This is my review: 1. Location: The hotel is on Norodorm Str, a fairly busy road. but ended up booking this as a last minute option. Did I regret it? Not one bit. Everything-all sights and the river is within 10 minutes by tuk tuk and I enjoyed seeing the city from the tuk tuk tremendously. The road in front is busy but it's very quiet inside and it was fun just to see the traffic (and it's not much) pass by. The BKK 1 area of Phnom Penh is across the road-full of bars and restaurants and cafes. I loved the location.An ATM is a 5 minute walk away, in a Petrol Pump shop, where you can also buy basic needs if you need to. 2. Staff: This is the defining feature of the hotel. They are the best you will find anywhere. They are attentive, friendly and approachable-and they don't seem to be trying at all. You will feel like you're at home, like I did, all the time. The manager, Many Young, and I had nice, casual conversations, the staff were like friends who also help you in the hotel. It was perfect. 3. Facilities: This is a 7 room, 2 floor hotel with one of the best Spas in the city, also located in a few rooms inside the building. They have a pool in a sister hotel but I did not use it. The in-room facilities are 5 star. There is no elevator but it's only 2 floors-never an issue. Free wifi is fast. 4. Food: The restaurant is on the ground floor and has some great stuff. An attached bar serves up whatever you desire. The restaurant is open till 10 PM. The breakfast is made to order and I had macchiatos with it daily, which were the best I've had in 3 continents. Conclusions: This is a perfect hotel-but it's not a resort. It suited me 100% and I will always stay there in Phnom Penh. Any other place will be a let down.

Well located in BKK 1 area in Phnom Penh, this quaint boutique hotel has a charm of its own. Although not new and with minor maintainance issues, the USP is their excellent staff. From the manager Heng, to the restaurant & hotel staff, all are polite and friendly. Like an extended family, they really look after all the guests. So happy were we with our stay on the way in to Phnom Penh, we stayed with them again on our way out. Room 005 on the ground floor is their best and spacious room. Generous with breakfast, the staff are happy to oblige with most things. Free laundry is a bonus.
