"Only complaint was that breakfast was served in room in cardboard boxes and plastic cutlery. Not quite the same. The only reason I booked this hotel was for the full English breakfast. We got up and dressed ready to go down when we received boxes. We were not told this on check in. Check in guy was very friendly but it was unfortunate that he’d just got back from seven months furlough so not his fault. Sign of these awful times. Location was perfect. Rooms were spotless but no plug sockets next to beds "

"Good location, refurbished Kensington Close Hotel with the usual Holiday Inn branding upgrades from what it once was when just the Kensington Close. A good enough ‘city tourist 3.5Star’ but no, not a genuine lavish 4 Star hotel as the more serene, well designed, refurbished, European city centre establishments can be. That said, it procides what it states on the tin. It would be fairer to have it badged as a good 3.5 Star hotel in its design, layout, finish & room decor plus sizes. But certainly for a Kensington High Street hotel that is well located, convenient, clean, tidy, well presented property it ranks as a very decent 3.5 Star. A good gym although much of the Life Fitness strength equipment is actually residential / light instituitional range & NOT commercial. Good cardio equipment & a great Dual Adjustable Cable & plenty of free weight dumbbells, barbells discs etc. so one can get a full workout. They charge guests extra to swim which is rather annoying. A good 3.5*."

"Chelsea Cloister is really a very nice accomodation. The studio is very good with everything you need for your stay: a refrigerator, microwave, washing machine , kettle, and the location is fantastic ,just a few minutes walk to either South Kensington station or to Sloane Square station. Also, the bus just in front of Sainsbury is only a few minutes away . The studio was on the 8th floor but furnished to a very good standard , everything was new . For the price you pay its fantastic . I recommend this place strongly; it is my fifth stay during two years ."
