Very nice & clean bungalows. Only problem seems there going broke. Stayed 2 days only 1 day with hot water, on wifi, anywhere. Seems owner had it disconnected. Far from everything. Staff nice though, don,t stay here if you rely on internet. 15 minute walk to wifi h9tspot at least.

Very noisy guesthouse , way out of town . Room size ok but that's about the only positive thing . Was only for a night stay on our way to Phnom Penh but was more than enough , never again .

Completely underated little gem”

It really wasn't that far out of town, even if you've not rented a bike. The place looks awesome, well kept gardens and a good view of the mountains and river. The walk back is actually quite nice, the locals say hello and the dogs leave you alone. There's bugger all to do in town anyway and the locals in town were the least friendly I've met in 6 months in Cambodia. The restaurant near by probably is rubbish but that's because the locals do loads of street food by the river thats cheap and delicious, just point and gesture and they'll figure out what you're after. The only real problem is that its on the wrong place on the map on agoda, you have to walk past where its actually said to be (following the river) and you'll see a sign for it about 200 yards up. (Or ask a tuk tuk driver, they all seem to know the place)

Great value guesthouse”

Great value for money, it is located a little bit out of town, but it is a short tuk tuk ride and in a nice quiet location by the river. The owner was kink enough to allow us to park out motorbikes securely for a week until we returned from Thailand, would have stayed their again but it was booked out. Rooms were clean air conditioner worked, great value for money. 3 star for food/dining rating reflects the fact we did not eat there (not sure if they do food either) but agoda has it as a required field.

If you're going to Koh Kong, try the Rikreay Guest House! Read all the reviews of the other hotels...then compare the prices and the positive things others have said about this place. It was one of the best buys I have found in Cambodia!

Great hotel, clean and presentable”

Apart from the air conditioning not being that effective, and the drainage becoming a bit of an issue, this is a great little hotel. Nicely furnished and comfortable beds. It's located out if town but it's nice and quiet with beautiful surroundings. Only 2 dollars into town so for us it was worth making the trip for. The smell of the drains lingered but only in the bathroom, and the air con worked but wasn't as good as other hotels. But for the money and the fact you're in Cambodia it was more than acceptable! I'd definitely recommend!

Perfect if you have transport!”

Our stay was so comfortable here. The young man at the reception desk took care if our motorbike at nights. The beds are the most comfortable with the best linen you'll get. A previous reviewer complained about being too far from the shops but there are shops all around here (though all really small). If you rent a small motorbike and use this place as your base I can assure you this is the best place to stay in Koh Kong. I cannot mark this place down for food/dining as they don't have any. Highly recommended. The internet is a bit dodgy but this is normal in Cambodia in our experience so get a 3G SIM card. They are cheap as chips.

Lovely riverside accomodation, modern clean room”

We loved staying there. Relaxing location by the river. They had a nice breakfast included on the restraunt by the river. One problem was not good Internet connection most of the time.

The best service on our whole trip,we booked this as a stopover before leaving Cambodia,and were very surprised the area was nice and quite,the staff were amazingly friendly and helpfull,and the room was excellent for the price.

hidden gem in koh kong”

I didn't see any review of this hotel. I try this hotel. So it worth it!!! It is gem in koh kong. No need to go to those expensive resort. This is good enough.

Tranquille , tranquille”

A 15 mn à pied du centre , hotel très calme , staff parlant peu l'anglais , décors agréable , est fait pour se reposer . Pas de chaînes en français à la télé ,pas de petit déjeuné . Possibilité de dîner au bord du grand lac , assis sous des paillotes , plutôt romantique comme situation . Fin novembre , peu de touristes ici , et cet hotel semble plus s'adresser aux Cambodgien . En résumé ,bp de charme , et tres tres tranquille

Super Hotel ”

Sehr ruhig gelegen zwar etwas außerhalb aber das macht die Lage und die Ruhe wett. Das gleich daneben liegende Restaurant hat sehr leckeres und billiges Essen. Einer vom Personal spricht auch sehr gutes Englisch und hat uns viele Tipps gegeben. Zimmer sehr sauber. Bei jedem kleinen Problem bekam man gleich Hilfe! Von unsere Seite nur zu empfehlen!

Wir waren nur eine Nacht dort, um am Folgetag über die Grenze nach Thailand einzureisen, daher war es mehr ein Zwischenstopp. Das Hotel an sich ist ganz nett, aber die Mitarbeiter sprechen kein englisch, sodass man das Wort "ice oder coke" nicht verstanden hatte... Das schlimme war das Bad: übelster Abwassergeruch und wirklich nicht sauber (und wir sind nach 6 Monaten Asien nicht mehr zart besaitet) am schlimmsten war die Monsterspinne die auf einmal beim Duschen heraus kam.... Zum Essen kann ich nichts sagen, da es keines gab... Wir hatten kein Bungalow, sondern ein Zimmer. Der Preis war super, daher möchte ich zum Zimmer auch gar nichts negatives sagen, aber putzen im Bad kann man dann doch verlangen.
