"The Zuela Guesthouse and Restaurant is probably the best place to stay in Luang Namtha, it is very conveniently located in an small alley a few steps from the main road almost in front of the Night Market. It's location helps to keep it really quiet while still having a very good central location. The restaurant is very good, serving really generous breakfasts and good food at convenient prices, almost comparable to street food prices, but with a much better quality. The hamburger is a real western hamburger, which is not common in south-east Asia. The service by its owner could be rated easily rated number 1 on speed, attention and taking care of its customers. The place also offers the convenience of renting bikes and motorbikes. The rooms are spacious and confortable, but water pressure in the shower is very low (we have found this problem in other places in Asia)."

"Impossible to book travel from my room or guesthouse lobby. Had to go to a restaurant and use their Wi-Fi. So if internet is crucial...as it was for me to book next flights and hotels...this is not the place for you. Other guests commented on this too. Other than that great place!"

Receptionist became ma dwhen I told him my bed was broken (you could see the actual holes through sheets!).he shouted at me "don't want to see, don't want to change".then raised his hand like he wanted to hit a table.. I felt scared and fool..since he then went away and just left me there astonished. So horrible old dirty dark smelly place with scary receptionist. Many better options in L.N. "The check-in wasn’t very friendly. There’s no communication whatsoever.. The beds are very hard (the hardest i had so far) and the facilities are poor. No hot water and a dirty bathroom. Wouldn’t recommend to stay here. It was as bad as my 3$ stay in a dorm. "

"This was a good hotel at the edge of the 'tour company' center. The tour companies are reached in only 5 minutes on foot. Some of the staff speaks English and the others understand quite it fast when you need something. The hotel is clean in 'trekking village' standards. The area isn't the richest in Laos so don't expect clean white walls, shiny bathrooms or modern beds in this town. It is clean enough for the cheap price you pay for the rooms. The breakfast is excellent and cooked in front of the diner table, especially the bread was delicious. Great hotel for backpakkers and trekking enthousiasts!"

"The hotel is just 3 mins walk away from the main city centre. It is along a quiet neighbourhood street, away from the dust and noise of the Main Street. WIFI was strong throughout my stay. I had a comfortable stay and will definitely recommend this to anyone. "

"Make a long story short don't stay here. It was cheap 10usd a night but the owner had no idea what agoda was gave us a room which I think was a hourly room due to the picture of a naked woman on the tile in the bathroom and never got any help about the area. After we left to take our bus out of town he chased us down at the bus station and accused us of not paying even though I showed him all forms of payment. He was nice enough to drop it and let us go but this place is a joke. You can find better without the hassle. "
