    Exceptional”

    Really nice hotel with a lot of character. The staff was always attentive and respectful. They have security 24/7 which I loved since it was my first time in Mexico city and wasn't sure what to expect. They didnt have a breakfast included, which it was a little disappointed but the restaurant has fair prices so for us it wasn't a big deal, one other thing that I would ask the hotel to get is a laundry room. When you travel with kids is always good to have a washer and a dryer available.

    Dark and brooding in a cool way”

    Overall good stay, but complaints would be the lack of privacy for the person using the restroom since there is just a walled partition between the room and the toilet. Also the air conditioning was inoperable about half our stay, and during the summer it's not pleasant. Otherwise it was very quiet and relaxing.

    Difficult stay ”

    Decent place, not cleaned that well. Every time I came up to the top to the pool I had problems. I brought my nice Song camera to take picture with my wife and they said I had to have prior authorization (bartender told me) which the manager later told me is a lie. AC isn’t cold and would shut off in the middle of the night and the cleaning crew changed my thermostat. I tried to go up and put my feet in the pool after a long day walking in Mexico City and they told me I wasn’t wearing proper clothes.

    This hotel is fantastic! Absolutely beautifully styled with modern rooms, a stunning atrium and exceptionally friendly/helpful staff. Arranged a late check out without a problem. Very nice rooftop pool and cafe. Breakfast was light but good value considering it was included. Location is excellent for visiting historic tourist sights during the day.
