Palacio Mundo Imperial
Acapulco Diamante O Playa Diamante,Acapulco - View on map
"The first item that I noticed was the huge size of the property with hundreds of rooms. Palacio Mundo Imperial is much more than a hotel - it is in fact a hospitality and entertainment hub with at least 6 restaurants, shops and services, activities including a beach club (the hotel itself is not on the beach) and golf, and venues for events like shows and weddings. I enjoyed the large swimming pools very much. The room offered all the amenities and comforts that one would expect in a hotel of top category. The bed and pillows were particularly comfortable. I appreciated the safety-seposit box and complimentary bottled water, and I very much enjoyed the outdoor balcony. Dining was always a tasty experience unto itself, and all staff members were courteous and professional. The great service attitude was very necessary as lines formed from time to time due to the large number of guests. All the same, I enjoyed my stay here very much and liked the close proximity to the airport."

Hotel Calinda Beach

"I know only one beach Biscarosse where the sea is strong and dangerous like this! my dear aunt Cathy lives nearby so I pamper myself with a mexican popular spa, far away from the misery and violence, a few steps outside is the delicious restaurant EL JAguar. Or take a cab to ZIBU my granmothers cousins son s owned thai mexican high style seaview diner. The famous international chef Susana Palazuelos de Wichtendahl is mother of Eduardo. Acapulco Guerrero was a seaside resort then and it is still beautiful. Viva Mexico."

More about Acapulco

Acapulco was once the favorite vacation destination for North American elites, often frequented by celebrities like Frank Sinatra and Elvis Presley, not to mention all the others. These days, Acapulco is accessible to nearly everyone, which means that the amount of budget accommodations has also grown just as much. This influx of budget accommodations alongside the charming vintage hotels of Acapulco make this city one of the most distinctive destinations among the others.

Acapulco is served by Acapulco International Airport, which is near Puerto Marques and offers plenty of budget and luxury accommodations for those who’d rather stay closer to the airport than venture into the main resort areas of Acapulco.

While Old Town Acapulco has some vintage accommodations, the districts to the east of town are more focused on more modern hotels and resorts, with areas such as the Hotel Zone featuring many high-rise hotels and golf courses as well as beach bars and nightclubs.

Of course, a visit to Acapulco is almost synonymous with the beach, and rightfully so. The coastline’s beaches are beautiful, and plenty of people know it, which explains the crowds on the beaches. If looking to get away from the congestion, head to the beaches of Isla de la Roqueta and don’t miss a chance to see the La Quebrada Cliff Divers, a must-see for anyone who visits this area.

There’s a lot more to see and do in Acapulco, and the best way to discover what else this city has to offer in terms of attractions, landmarks, and hotels is by exploring the interactive map on this page.
