Where to stay in Bristol
Bristol hotels & accommodations
My daughter and I stay the night before a university interview. This is a new business hotel well located for Bristol City Center. Very clean & beds were 4 star hotels standard. We asked for a room away from noise to get a good night sleep. We did fly in from Asia & my girl need to recover. The staff was great, very helpful and friendly. They took time to find a good m...
Firstly let’s be clear. The staff are lovely and the hotel is in a prime location in the centre of Bristol. The room we had was a good size too and was clean. However the hotel itself is looking tired now and dated. And the 3 lifts seem to have a mind of their own stopping at floors with no one on. The pool is small and the sauna an steam room tiny too. The gym faci...
Excellent hotel. Cannot beat location as right opposite terminal building. Room was excellent with everything you could want and more. Even an iron and ironing board (full size) was very useful as my coat had become very creased on coach. Did not have the breakfast as we were flying very early but noted the cooked breakfast started at 6.00am and buffet at 4.30am. Check...
Very enjoyable stay in the city centre. The location is brilliant and the price good. Friendly staff and the room was very comfortable. Only downside to this stay is that one of the lifts wasn't working so a long wait for a lift in the morning. Free wifi is a nice touch. Would recommend though and will be back should I stay in Bristol again. Windows could do with a...
We enjoyed being at this hotel, with lovely good sized rooms, good facilities and breakfast. An easy walk into the sights of Bristol and the river. Highly recommend this to anyone who wants a comfortable stay in Bristol.
I attended a meeting near Bristol Temple Meads, and the Hilton Garden Inn was located a very short walk away from my meeting venue. The rooms, the beds and the bathrooms are comfortable and clean, and of a decent enough size. The staff (I only dealt with the reception) were always very helpful and knowledgeable. It is a good place for a business traveler to stay in thi...
Could not have stayed at a more friendly, comfortable and excellent facility. Its 2 star rating is way under the actual quality of this establishment. Its worth 4 stars for food and staff. I found the room very comfortable and modern. Location for me was important so the fact that its only 5-min walk from the Station at Bristol Temple with easy directions, was what at ...
Very good quality apartments, with good quality fitting & fixtures. Nice little touches and tastefully modern decor. No restaurant but you're smack bang in the center of Bristol in this case so that's not an issue. Solid, quiet building so hardly any noise despite location.
Nice welcome and helpful manageress on arrival. Good room and very quiet, and slept well with no traffic noise and little disturbance. Attractive rooms, and bright lounges with food and drinks available on bar/restaurant in hotel. Very convenient for Bristol sights and shopping areas. Great to have the Bristol Lido just round the corner, and Clifton village just a ...
Fantastic! The bed was big and comfortable. The bathroom was clean and modern. The room was very spacious. The Gym was satisfactory as was the Sauna and Steam room, even more so being complementary. The location to town was perfect. All it lacked was a nice view. I will certainly be staying over again very time soon, if not in Bristol but another location also.
We enjoyed our room, which was clean, large enough for our needs, quite stylish and comfy and had a good view of St Mary's from the window. The WiFi worked well in the room and breakfast was good quality, although could have had more variety. The staff were very professional, friendly and efficient and the meal we had in the restaurant was tasty and reasonably-priced....
Stayed in one of the larger sort of art-deco style caravans on the roof terrace. I live in Bristol but wanted me and my partner to have a new experience and it was worth it. Brooks is right in the centre of Bristol so you have the choice to go out for the evening, but the caravan also had a tv with freeview, tea/coffee/hot chocolate and heaters/a radiator, as well as ...
Great hotel in the heart of Bristol. We just booked a standard double room, which was a decent size. Rooms are clean and have very arty fixtures and fittings. The only downside is that during the winter the room was a little cold. It does have an air com unit that blows either hot or cold, but didn't want to have dry heat blowing around the room. There was a great ...
Just spent 4 nights at the Jury hotel in Bristol. The hotel is located in an ideal spot close to everything and easy to walk to shops, bars and restaurants. Fortunately we requested a room with a view over the river which was really nice and bright. Breakfast was excellent with a full buffet and had a great selection. Room we stayed in was very bright and really tas...
A good plus was its proximity to Clifton which is a charming suburb of Bristol. Another plus was the food which was well cooked and plentiful.
There are three reasonable size 19th century hotels in Bristol for me the Avon Gorge Hotel has the biggest appeal still, not as plush as the Marriott, the AG has no swimming pool or gymnasium, but what it does have a fantastic view of the Avon Gorge (hence the name), the Suspension Bridge. Clifton the district where the hotel is situated has some very good restaura...
Great location for shopping and city walkabout. Being a pedestrian area, taxis cannot send us right to the door. Best if property operators can advise guests about the nearest drop off point for our convenience especially those with big luggages. For example in front of Piccolino's on corner of Broad Weir and Narrow Weir.
My daughter and I stayed In Bristol Centre Hotel for several times and days. It is really very conveniently located with lots of restaurants around, including a Tesco supermarket. It is just beside the Harbourside where busses are near. The only problem we had was the cleaners of our room. The hotel hired a company to do the cleaning and unless you tell them so, they...
I will visit the Coach House again and recommend it. The experience is better than similarly priced chain hotels. Breakfast was cooked to order and excellent and the room was clean and comfortable. The only downsides to look out for in my room (15). People smoking outside, an uncomfortable wicker chair at the desk and a slightly lumpy mattress.
Useful laundry service & self serve kitchen.
This is a decent Hilton. Me and my wife got the room really cheap so we were really pleased with it. Location is good if you have a car. We used the hotel as a base for visiting Bristol & Bath. The Hotel is £10 taxi to Bristol Parkway for visiting Bath. The Hotel was warm & clean and room service was excellent. All the staff were really helpful and kind. Please note Pa...
it was a good all around hotel with nice clean room, they provide complemenatry fruits in the room. they also have a nice restaurant and bar. it is well located in one of the nicest areas of bristol (clifton). there is free parking around but you will have to be lucky to find a spot.
I found myself in Bristol celebrating my 20 year anniversary with my baby bear. London grammar gig at the O2 within walking distance. Amazing bar with bourbon choices to die for. Breakfasts I could eat twice over. Bathroom designed to spend hours soaking in the bath. Bristol lido was a revelation - jacuzzi rocked as much as the roasted lamb shoulder after. Climax...
We had a brilliant deal on Agoda for this hotel. Would recommend the hotel and we enjoyed our stay. There was a faux pas over the breakfast times which we will deal with seperately by e mail. The car park was so convenient and right next to hotel £17.50 for 24 hours and extended to a time that suited us. Hard to find a hotel in Bristol that doesn't charge for parki...
Great value hostel to stay for a night.... hated the lift though... took ages to arrive at the right floor which wasnt reassuring itd get me there! Didnt get stuck but would prefer it if there was an option to take the stairs! Overall great place to stay for a night out in bristol, great value, fab location, would stay again. Thanks
The stay was superb, took a chance of booking this hotel although it has not enough reviews on Agoda. The facilities and location was very good. 10+ mins walk to the temple meads station and to city centre. The layout of the apartment was good and well kept. Cheap places to stay in Bristol
I stayed at this motel for 12 nights. Excellent and value for money for the bag-packers! located in the heart of Bristol. Convenient to all sorts of shops i.e food, shopping bus station, local bars&clubs,off-licensee shops, midnight kebab eateries and many. The motel's cleanliness was not bad but, i have to give 5 stars to the friendly staffs who never fail to provide the...

I loved this hotel. It managed to feel both upmarket and cosy at the same time. I only met one member of staff but she was friendly and efficient. The room was comfortable and clean, with nice decor. The price was very reasonable too. An entirely positive experience.

This was a decent place to stay for the money paid. Free breakfast really made it superb. You could choose from a variety of hot foods including a traditional breakfast, and a croissant with cheese and ham. Really nice staff willing to help, and location was close to everything. Good Clean Functional Hotel in good Location with friendly Considerate Staff. Well appointed room. Staff go extra mile to make stay enjoyable! Good location for Bristol, North Bristol , M4, M32, Filton & Frenchay.
Perfect place to stay if you need to sleep near Bristol airport. Bed was very comfortable. Very nice and helpful staff. Breakfast was amazing.

recently stayed at Holiday inn express Bristol city centre and have to say exceptional value for money the staff were first class Joshua front of desk greeted me as i arrived early and went out of his way to accomadate he is a real asset to the company and his proffessionalism is first rate i would strongly reccomend that the Bosses of the hotel chain use him as consul...

It was near Bristol Airport . We stayed overnight as we had an early morning flight . We enjoyed a nice relaxed meal and a few drinks and an early night . They even gave us a early morning call .

We did not expect the Ritz but we did experience some issue that could easily be rectified as follows ; 1) Our room (no 28) was ok in size for a one night stay but the carpet had to be seen to be believed, it was just worn out in places. The bathroom had a soap dispenser over the bath but if you sat in the bath facing the taps, the dispenser was impossible to reach! ...
we were visiting Bristol for a family wedding and this was a perfect location for us. We have stayed in Holiday Inn Express hotels so knew what we would get and we were not disappointed. The price for 2 rooms (there were 4 of us) was excellent value. We will certainly these hotels in the future and this one if we visit Bristol.
Our stay was very good, room clean, beds comfortable, plentiful tea and coffee supplies and the added bonus of free transfer to Bristol Airport made it a very pleasant and easy stay.

No facilities inside, nowhere to hang towels never mind clothes No facilities outside, pub closed for renovations..for 3 years?? And tea room open from 11am doesn't help for breakfast. Didnt see any staff, no welcoming. They tried to charge us more than when I booked through Agoda.
only problem we had was the constant power trip in our room which left us very cold as the heater was not working and there was no hot water. i was left showering with cold water in sub 0 degree winter night!

Excellent apartment with great facilities - everything we needed was available - easy to book, check in and check out completely hassle free. Pros - location Cons - it took approximately 20 emails and 2 phone calls to secure the booking. The additional parking fee of 15 GBP per day is incredibly expensive (they even overcharged me by 6GBP!) The whole key collection is a bit of a farce. You have to go on some sort of scavenger hunt just to collect the keys which isn't ideal after a long journey and the c...

If ever I will go back to bristol I'll book this again
great little inn! we had a wonderful dinner and breakfast! staff was very friendly! and we had a huge room enough for the five of us!
The apartment was spacious, clean, had decent amenities. Very secure and safe. However the location was bad, did not have parking nearby (we couldn't park below the apartments cause we did not have the permit to do so and Cleyro couldn't help us with that). Surrounding parking around the apartment was very pricey. There was not much location help when it comes to the ...
Great stay - location was perfect. Very close to harbourside and easy walking distance to city centre. Layout of hotel takes a bit getting used to as it was originally two banks. Quirky artwork and upholstery of furniture. Easy walk to river and shopping centre - lots of lovely cafes and ...

Great place to stay . Owner is very friendly and helpful. The location is probably easier reached by car but there is a bus stop nearby. We had a little trouble finding it but that was our problem as we didn’t do enough research before arriving. Real reviews for hotels
too much graffiti or some may call art,too many beggars homeless people,i lived here for 40 years i have been away for 10 i could not live here ,too dangerous at night
I stay overnight here with my partner to catch the airport flyer service from the railway station. I enjoyed the area around the Ibis Hotel as there were some good attractions there an aquarium obviously closed at night and a casino which I don't like but looked nice at night and a bridge with a fog machine which was fun.
Superb and peaceful place. A City where you can have all you want around you away from your usual busy schedule.
Bristol is a lively city with good university area to stroll around. Shopping area is centrally located with all kinds of shops for everyone.
Very busy town. Cyclists are a nightmare, dangerous and inconsiderate - they cycle on the pavements, shoot over red lights at crossings and weave in and out of pedestrians.
Bristol is a great lively city and has pretty much everything you need in terms of entertainment, nightlife and shopping.
