"The room was great! very much value for money, clean, up to date, easy to get around, shops and subway nearby within 5 minutes walk. Staffs were polite and flexible. Breakfast was basic and the same for the 3 days I stayed there. However, I got locked up in the bathroom for good 30 minutes as the door latch was outside part of the door, It was loose and I did not realised it locked me out when I closed it. I kicked it and worse was when the bottom part of the door got jammed by the curb. Manage to lift and pushed open the door after a good 30 minutes of screaming and banging the bathroom walls , and called FO. Housekeeping removed the door completely that afternoon. Up till now I do not understand why is the door latch outside when the door is a see through glass anyway? Anyway, aside from that experience, I had a very great stay and will stay there again if I visit Busan!"

"Canvas Hostel is clean, organized, comfortable, and provides great value to all types of travelers who visit the Haeundae area of Busan. Canvas Hostel consists of 2 buildings (right across from each other) on a side street near Haeundae Beach. The staff is friendly and can speak English very well, so don't worry if you're a traveler who cannot speak much Korean language. Canvas Hostel is my favorite place to stay in Busan and you won't be disappointed if you choose to sleep in this hostel. Just make sure to check-in by 11:00 P.M. and you're good to go!"

"The location is superb, just across the road from Busan KTX Exit 1 where there are small eateries and 24 hrs convenience stores. At Level 1 of the hotel lobby, there are 2 washers & dryers (beside the toilets) which is a plus factor and there is drinks vending machine, water dispenser, ice dispenser and microwave. The 2 of us stayed in the twin bedroom at 20th floor for 3 nights. The hotel room and bathroom is small and we can only open our L-sized luggage on the bed, but everything we need is there and the room is clean. But when we want to request for additional pillows, we can only ask for maximum 1 extra pillow per room. And when we have some issues with the washer & dryer, we tried to approach the counter staff for help but they cannot offer any help or assistance at all, which is pretty disappointing. Overall, the experience is good, room is clean, really easy to reach both Busan KTX and Busan Station Line 1 metro subway (Tips: There's a lift in between exit 4 and 6 if you are too tired from climbing stairs). Staff needs to improve on service standard as they were pretty "cold" and nonchalant attitude towards us."

"This was our best hostel experience in Busan. Very clean and minimalistic. The man at the front desk was super friendly and went out of his way to help us when we had problems booking a flight. The location is perfect if you want to have access to everything but be removed from the noise, it felt very private. There is a wonderful rooftop view of the sea. I can highly recommend this place. "Our stay in Busan would not have been so great if not for the friendly people in Kimchee! The staff was very nice and helpful. When we accidentally had to extend our stay in Busan for a few days, the staff did all that they can to ensure that our multiple transfers to the only available rooms were swift and comfortable. The location is perfect, just a 2-minute walk from the subway station. It's also super near Seomyeon's lively night life. We appreciate that there's a nearby convenience store and a vending machine outside. Lastly, the shared kitchen/lobby is also a great place to meet fellow travelers. :) "
