"Great location right behind Hakuba Base Camp - easy to take shuttle buses. Great value for money! Right in Echoland so quite a few food options. The rooms were all big enough to house 3 people. 4 can probably fit but will be a bit tight. The toilets however, in all the rooms I booked, had a pretty bad smell. "

"We really liked Hotel Hakuba because of the breakfast. But do note breakfast only runs 7am-8.30am. There’s also onsen on site - both indoor and outdoor. Rooms were really nice and big - my group of 7 friends could gather within one room. There’s also a mini kitchen and you could ask for cooking equipments from the reception. All our rooms came with a mini balcony and a big nice window for you to admire the Hakuba view. The hotel is situated along the river and it’s nice to have the sound of the river in the background when we left our balcony door ajar. There’s an A-Coop (hypermart) 10 mins walk away, which is also where the North Face Gravity store is at. You can contact the hotel for a free shuttle pick up from Hakuba Station. "

"We at stayed at the Tokyu hotel in Hakuba just over a week ago. We enjoyed our stay all in all. We had the included breakfast every day, it was pretty got with a balance of western and Japanese fare. We also tried the pub did and French restaurant. The pub food was pretty good (although quite expensive). The fresh food was even more expensive and nothing to write home about. We really liked the hotel provided smartphone with free intentional calls. Also enjoyed a nice Onsen at the end of a long day of skiing. There was a locker and drying room for all your equipment. The drying room was a bit cramped. There were lots of other dining options close by and fairly frequent shuttle buses to the resorts and town. The room itself is big enough with our only real complaint being the twin bed setup which isn't ideal for couples that like to sleep together. Aside from the fairly average snow conditions (by Japanese standards), we really enjoyed our stay here. "
