Hamamatsu hotels & places to stay

Stayed for a night on the way to some where else. I didn't know anything about Hamamatsu till I got here because information is sprawled everywhere around the hostel. There's lots of flyers everywhere. A huge mural map on things to check out. Printed a4 copies of a 'food map' all the good eats within walking distance of the hostel. The staff speaks English. Very approachable. Rooms are very clean and check in was very smooth. They gave my special request and good value for money! Ill be staying here again when I visit Hamamatsu.

It is recommended for reasonable. Staffs attitudes are very good. Breakfast was good but need to be more Japanese menu.

This is an old hotel and the rooms have seen better days. Ours had wallpaper that was peeling off which made it feel shabby and not so welcoming. I booked 2 rooms in this hotel. It is quite far from the JR station. I need to take taxi to go and back from the hotel to the JR station. The rooms are nice designed and comfortable. The bathrooms are spacious and clean as well. The staffs are friendly. They will try to understand and fulfill all your requirements even though their English is not speaking fluently.

Location is far from station but the service from the staff is excellent. The Staff at Hotel Concorde Hamamatsu provide lots of information for tourists spot and local hot spot, even though they cannot speak English. You can feel they are trying their best. The hotel is very closed to the Hamamatsu station next to the Toyota Rent-a-car. The room facilities is well efficient and working in good condition. Happy hours' one drink from the hotel is superb.

Easy access from train

If the room was bigger, Dormy Inn Express Kakegawa would be a 4 star hotel! With its interior details, amenities, and its near location to the train station, I love everything about it except the room size which was more comfortable if occupied by 1 person only.

This hotel was a little difficult to find, but once I found it, I realized the location was convenient to the trains and downtown area of Hamamatsu.

So enjoyable hotel, good services provided by the hotel staff, polite, friendly and helpful. They're willing to assist us for every inquiries and shared us about the culture of country. Environment of the dining restaurant is grand, local Japanese cuisine is delicious. Strongly recommend for those backpacker to stay with this hotel.

I have been to MiNi japan day event and this hotel is the lastest choice I have found which nearby the event and the price resonable. The room and everything prepare well. Have parking space and nearby convenient shop.

Hotel is just off of the highway and is within walkable distance to numerous restaurants with full-sized parking lots. Also, Lawson’s nearby. Breakfast is Japanese style and adequate and included. Rooms are Japanese business size. TVs include 5 channels per usual with additional options for PPV.

Staff doesn't really speak english but tried their best to accommodate every enquiry. Room is spacious. Location is good. Walking distance to hamamatsu castle and train station. All in all, it was a good choice.

I visited Iwata for the first time and chose the Kuratake Inn due to the close proximity to the Iwata Station. The staff spoke enough English to get me checked in with no problems. The single room was spacious compared to most hotels in Japan. The free breakfast was decent and I was surprised that there is a free happy hour from 6 - 8pm.

The hotel was clean and the staff were very friendly and helpful. They also provide complimentary western and japanese breakfast. The hotel was right next to the Hamamatsu station so it was really easy to find. I would definitely stay here again if I return to Hamamatsu

Staff is very friendly. Hotel room is a little bit small but just enough for short stay. They provide breakfast, simple curry rice in the afternoon and one drink and snack also.
