Savoy Hotel Manila (Multiple-Use Hotel)
Pasay,Manila - View on map
"Stayed in this hotel for three times already, and I will definitely come back again . The location is good, just across NAIA terminal 3 (they provide a free shuttle bus every hour from the airport to the hotel. You can find the buses at the arrival gate at the ground floor of the airport). There are some restaurants around the area, spa, nail salons, dental clinic, pharmacy store, laundry shop , walking distance to resorts world wherein there’s also a small shopping mall, there is a near supermarket as well. The breakfast buffet is good, and you won’t get sick of the options because everyday they change the choices. The staffs were also amazing! I left my watch in the room during my first stay and they notified me and gave it back. On my third stay, I asked my mom to wait for me at the hotel since I’ll only arrive in the Philippines after a very long flight and they assisted my mom and allowed her to check-in early while waiting for me to land in Manila. Every time I go back to Manila, I choose this hotel and I highly recommend it. "

Dusit Thani Manila (Multiple-Use Hotel)
Makati,Manila - View on map
"My wife and I reside full time in the Philippines and therefore have stayed in many different hotels in Manila. This was the first time we had stayed in the Dusit Thani Manila Hotel and we were thoroughly impressed. From the welcome each time at the front door by "Gino" the Door Man as we arrived back from shoppimg to the help and support which was extended to us from the Concierge Department and the pleasant smiling faces of all the staff we were made to feel so welcome and were treated all the time as VIP guests. Well done Dusit Thani Manila Hotel! You have got our business from now on and we will be back to stay with you again real soon. Best regards and thank you."

St Giles Makati – A St Giles Hotel, Manila (Multiple-Use Hotel)
Makati,Manila - View on map
"Apart from the rather sluggish wifi connection, the hotel exceeded all my expectations. The room was great, breakfast spread was filling with great variety, and the staff (especially housekeeping and front desk) were prompt, attentive and quick to serve. I have stayed at several different hotels in Manila and would highly recommend St Giles. It's also a stone's throw away from the night life. But if you have guests who drive, then be prepared for a rather narrow, small and very limited car park."

Sofitel Philippine Plaza Manila (Staycation and Multi-use Hotel)
Manila Bay,Manila - View on map
"i thoroughly enjoyed my 7 night stay at the sofitel philippine plaza manila hotel. i have traveled all over europe from london to the netherlands, germany, lithuania, thailand and finally manila and i have to say this is the most luxurious hotel i have visited during my month long journey. although a little pricier than some of the other hotels in the area it is still a great bargain as i booked through agoda.com. i had a room with both a view of manila bay and the city skyline as well as a perfect view of the incredible swimming pool. it was incredible and i just have to say the food is delicious and affordable for the quality and presentation. i did not eat in the restaurants but constantly ordered room service and it was amazing. you have to try to mango cheesecake and the creme brulee...you will thank me later...i promise. the staff is great and always check on you to make sure all your needs are met. this place was wonderful and if my travels ever bring me back to manila then this is definitely where i will be staying! i have only one bad thing to say and it is minor but could be a major factor some...you have to pay $7.00 per day usd for internet access in a day where even mcdonalds offers free hi speed internet access this is a very poor decision on the part of the hotel. as much as i enjoyed the hotel i have to admit that if i had known this before booking i would not have made the reservation. this is just my personal opinion but to the management i would reconsider your internet policy especially for a hotel in manila with such a higher price point. so that being said i just want to make sure travelers that are tied to their tablets and notebooks take this into consideration. they do i believe offer free wi fi in the lobby area but who wants to trek down to the lobby when you should be able to lounge in the room pajama style with a nice cup of coffee while catching up on the days business at hand. Regency Grand Suites
Malate,Manila - View on map
"My Filipina girlfriend and I decided to book 6days in the Regency Grand Suite and hoped it would be perfect for my last weeks stay in the Philippines. We were NOT dissappointed! We were greeted by the friendlest receptionist called Joseph who did everything for us from check us in to fixing the WIFI connection :) from there the stay in the hotel just got better. The location is perfect if you want to be central to Malate and it's right next to the mall. We stayed on the 32nd floor so obviously it was very quiet if you wanted to get away from the nightlife. The gym and the pool (very cold water ha) were great perfect to sit beside and relax. There are plenty of lovely Asian restaurants next to the hotel and the hotel is only short drive (100php) from Markati and the Fort. The room (a suite) was perfect it had plenty of power points (universal for 3pin plugs) a kitchen area with a microwave, kettle and fridge perfect for making snacks. The shower room was cozy and modern (don't forget to switch on the water heater) and after switching the water heater on the hot rain shower was wonderful. The view was magnificent from the 32nd floor balcony viewing out onto Manila bay and the cities beyond. The bed is huge but the space around the bed is limited but never the less its very cozy and perfect for me and my filipina girlfriend. The room also had a very modern flat screen TV with satelite channels such as HBO and PBO and other filipino channels. In short our stay in the Regency Grand Suites was wonderful and we shall most certainly be booking to stay here again on my next holiday. Special thanks to Joseph on reception who was amazing at getting us settled and was so attentive throughout our stay there. Many Thanks to all the team."

The Linden Suites
Pasig,Manila - View on map
"For two single females traveling to Manila for the 1st time, security and sense of safety were top priority. Linden Suites delivered on all our needs! Walking distance to the Mega mall, Shangri-la mall and Podium. The room was comfortably spacious. The staff were friendly, helpful and gracious. I had read previous reviews criticizing the buffet breakfast so was pleasantly surprised by the amount of choice provided. In the same week I stayed at another hotel in Manila (5 star) and wished I was back at Linden Suites enjoying their quiet efficiency and easy friendliness. I would definitely stay again and have already recommended Linden Suites to others."

Makati Palace Hotel
Makati,Manila - View on map
"I have stayed at Makati Palace Hotel atleast 7 different times. I have stayed at 2 other hotels, in Manila, one of which is closed, the other is cock roach infested and not worth mentioning. Makati was always clean and bug free. The buffet style breakfast at Makati Palace was worth the money I thought. They also have a few good meals at night. They make the best mango shake anywhere. I get one with every evening meal there. In the morning they have an excellent omelet and a nice variety of food at the buffet. I'll be back there whenever I go to manila again. "

Seda Vertis North – Multiple Use Hotel
Quezon City,Manila - View on map
"I booked a total of 12 rooms for two nights in Seda Vertis North for our wedding preps. Seven rooms for one night from the wedding package, and the rest is through multiple bookings with Agoda. Check-in was a breeze! It could have been a nightmare because of the many booking reference numbers that we have and our requests to have specific rooms on a certain floor. But Valerie from the front desk handled it very well without saying "no" to any of our requests. Rooms are spacious and very clean! Our bookings composed of Deluxe Kings, Deluxe Twins, a Premier Room and Corner Suites so I got to see all the room categories. Buffet breakfast is good! Our friends and family from the US loved it. Club Lounge is also good. It's at par with other 5-star hotels in Manila. Straight Up Bar has a nice ambiance with good music. We stayed until closing for two nights! Too bad we can't stay for a longer time. The pool is good! The kids enjoyed it. And lastly, parking was easy. Thanks, Seda!"

The commercial center of the city is Makati, where a wide array of restaurants and bars cater to practically any taste and offer everything from Chinese cuisine to American cheeseburgers. In the middle of the chaotic city are many parks to provide a respite to locals and travelers, with Rizal Park being the most iconic.

Another popular attraction in Manila is the 18th-century Fort Santiago in Intramuros, which was once a prison but has since been transformed into a park.
