"The hotel was good and handy to everything. I hadn't been to Port Macquarie for 16-17 years; it was a lovely sleepy hollow. It's not so sleepy anymore. The Port Macquarie hotel is handy & in the middle of town. Good for walking around and getting to all the eating places. The hotel is good & clean. The only concern is Saturday nights the noise from downstairs wafts up until late. Apart from the it's a good place to stay."

"We arrived in Port Macquarie intending to stay only one night and then move on up the coast for a few days. However, after being here only one night we decided to base ourselves here. WE upgraded from a double room with sea view to an apartment with sea view. The extra cost was, in comparison, minimal. The apartment had balconies with views both front, over the ocean, and rear over the gardens and town area. The only thing that lets this place down is that it has no hospitality areas..... no bar.....no restaurant. the good news is that the Bowling club is only 50 metres away and is very welcoming. Would I stay here again???..... That is a most deinite yes !!"
