This motel is our all time favourite. Return visit and still our favourite place to stay in Port Macquarie. Without exception the staff were brilliant. All so friendly and obliging. Domestic staff were very competent and approachable. View from room was amazing and a most comfortable king size bed. We will definitely be booking for our next visit.
My family enjoyed staying at Sails Port Macquarie - By Rydges very much. We loved the sea-view, the nearby restaurants, and the hospitality shown by the hotel's staff. Highly recommended if you are to travel with your young children.

A very pleasant stay . We have been stopping at Port Macquarie for many years and have stayed at numerous different 3/4 star plus accommodation facilities. This is first time we have stayed at Northpoint, but will definitely stay again. This should confirm where we consider this accommodation sits with the competition.
This motel is at the central location of Port Macquarie city centre, plenty of parking space on site as well as on streets. The owner is super helpful, our car broke down at Port Macquarie, the gentleman Danny and his lovely wife tried everything they could to help us, so impressive! We only stayed one night but really wish it could have been for longer. The apartments are right on Flynn's Beach at Port Macquarrie, which is a beautiful bay with a lovely sandy beach. The apartments are large, very clean and well-equipped. A lovely stay and we would love to come back some day.

It was very well set out, and well kept. The surfy theme throughout was very cute. The rooms were a great size. Bathroom and laundry were great. Also incredibly helpful staff, very knowledgeable about the area and it's surroundings

Though clean but dated my cabin had a deodoriser small which I counteracted with the pedalstil fan supplied. There is no aircon but a oil heater. NO linen was supplied and no indication that I saw on booking. If booked through booking.com this is noted on receipt but not agodas that I saw. Staff were pleasant and helpful when I was late arriving.

Considering some earlier reviews, they must have been staying somewhere else, The Pool was great, clean and clear. The room was well decorated, great aircon and shower. and the bed as comfortable. An excellent place to stay for a short or extended visit. The accommodation is comprehensively equipped including a washing machine and dryer! The beach is across the road and shops and restaurants within easy walking dstance. The town is an enjoyable coastal walk or a short bus ride away. Reception is most helpful. Stunning location, beautiful breakfast and the hosts cannot do enough for you, including dropping me at my business appointment in the morning!! Bed was very comfy as well and what a view!!! Port Macquarie is a typical east coast beach tourist place of Australia. It has very nice beaches. The Hinterland is a short drive where there is many walking trails in the mountains.
Port Macquarie offers lots of interesting things to do and a trip to Timbertown is well worthwhile for the whole family to see the early days in the settlement of the region.
Port Macquarie is central to lots of other beautiful beaches, Lake Cathie, North Haven and Laurieton.
Port Macquarie, the gardens, parks and surrounding areas are well designed lots of roundabouts all in all very impressive town.
Port Macquarie is an old city and very hard to find new/modern accommodation. Good for a family trip if you want the beach and just chill out.
Port Macquarie is a fairly large coastal town with many water activities available such as coastal cruises, fishing, swimming and easy access to national parks and other interesting small towns if you have a car.
lovely city with many beaches, need a car to drive around to the attractions. Nature Parks nearby as well.
Very nicely blended into the existing natural highlights of the area, the inlet and rivers. Ease of access to water based activities is superb.
Penrith Panthers has a branch in Port Mac, and there are a few other sporting/general clubs to suit most requirements.
This was our first visit to Port Macquarie. We look forward to going there again. We were impressed with the beautiful beach, out accomadation, the museum, shops and atmosphere in general.
This is our favourite City in the World, with every possible facility to make it the place where we may seriously choose to reside permanently in the future.
