"this is a new hotel owned by vietnamese. considering that it's a new hotel, some inexperience staffs is understandable bu it's balance with a very good manager level on each department. some details on the hotel room amenities may be need to be improved but overall it's a good quality hotel for vientiane standard. i asked for a one-day transportation and the manager gave me a good discount! one more thing which is remarkable, the reservation team is very responsive to email before & after my stay and deserved a big thumbs-up! i left something in the hotel room and just realized when i was already in hanoi. the hotel was not only keep my stuffs but one vietnamese manager brought my stuff to hanoi from vientiane on the next day!!!!!! :)"

"I've been on the road for 8 months. This hostel was the best hostel i've ever stayed in my whole travel. Everything is new and super clean. Staffs are super friendly and helpful. Situated in opposite of the best vegetarian restaurant in Vientiane, in the downtown. It's very close. If you're fellow vegetarian i would love to recommend this place absolutely much. So, i definitely stay at this hostel again. Brand new, friendly and clean. Good wifi, good cafe, and good location. Very lovely place to stay. "

"V Hotel was very fine. I paid $7.00 for a taxi from the airport. $21.00 dollars per night. Clean room, good air con, good elevator, hot water in the shower. You also get a light breakfast from 8;00 to 9:30. I saw no flaws with V Hotel, but Vientiane? Never Again. It's now huge and sprawling. No maps available for the crooked main sts. So I took a jarring 6 1/2 van ride to Vong Vieng, Laos' Party City. It was so friggin' boring (The place shuts down at ten p.m. I couldn't believe it) I went right back to Vientiane, then back to Thailand. The airport in Vientiane also SUCKS. There's 9 Immig. Officers doing absolutely nothing, while all VISA applicants are put into ONE LINE that barely moves. I stood in line for at least 1 1/2 hrs. GET YOUR VISA BEFOREHAND IF AT ALL POSSIBLE. Laos doesn't care one bit about tourism, and makes no accomodation to help you. Any other questions, write me at FB,-my name is Patrick Young from Fresno, CA"

"A new hotel very well managed by a competent management, who seems to be very concerned about the well-being of the customers. The reception staff are very professional, courteous to the customers, always smiling, particularly friendly and respectful. The One Vientiane Hotel is located in the center of Vientiane and very close to the banks of the Mekong and the Night Market. Everything is immaculate and remarkably clean : common areas of the hotel, bedroom and bathroom. The bedroom is large, bright and comfortable. The bathroom is well designed and hot water is no problem. We wanted to stay 3 days and stayed 6 days ultimately, which allowed us to visit Vientiane better. From arrival to departure, we had no hotel problems, which is not always the case in other hotels in Asia. A hotel management to take as an example and that I recommend without hesitation, I who am a frequent traveler. "

"This is the best hotel in Vientiane for this price. Top reasons I picked this hotel was the pool, the fact it is a new hotel, price and location. Also their shuttle service is much cheaper than the local taxis, next time I will call ahead for airport pick up. They also offer free bikes to ride around the city which is another bonus considering taxis are 1000% more expensive than Vietnam (NO JOKE). I really enjoyed my stay here, pool and the gym was what I liked the most. Thank you!"

"Extremely nice, super friendly staff, very comfortable bed, free wifi in the room that actually works (internet in Laos is generally slow). Hotel is situated right in the middle of Vientiane - just a short walk to the national museum and the two main temples to visit. Many restaurants close by. I had a small problem (in the bathroom) with the room and was immediately moved to a new room. The views from the breakfast area are great."
