- Location: in the Old Quarter, about 5 minutes walk to Hoan Kiem Lake, near the The Huc Bridge and Ngoc Son Temple, a bustling street from morning till night, and within walking distance to the night market. However, on weekends, cars are not allowed, which can be inconvenient for those driving. - Hotel: small but always has a pleasant scent. - Room: the type of room I booked was small but fully equipped (safe, minibar, hairdryer, smartbox TV, ...). The bathroom was spacious and clean, and the bed was comfortable. The hotel needs to check the safe when cleaning the room after a previous guest checks out, as they open it but do not reset the password, which can be inconvenient for the next guest who wants to use it. - Breakfast buffet: a bit limited in options, mostly European dishes, but enough to fill you up. - Staff: friendly and enthusiastic. I will come back when I visit Hanoi again.

The location is extremely convenient, just a few steps away from Hoan Kiem Lake, in the Old Quarter area where you can easily experience Hanoi's cuisine with many famous restaurants within a 1km radius that can be reached on foot such as Pho Thin, Pho Bat Dan, Bun Cha Hang Quat, Bun Cha Hang Manh and many other delicious dishes that cannot be listed all. The rooms are clean, well-equipped and comfortable. The staff are extremely friendly. It will definitely be the number one priority for the next trip to Hanoi.

Our recent stay at the Aurora Premium Hotel in Hanoi turned out to be an unexpected highlight of our trip, despite the challenges posed by Typhoon Yagi. Originally, we had planned to celebrate our anniversary in Sapa, but due to the severe weather, we found ourselves extending our stay in Hanoi—not once, but twice. The hotel staff made this process seamless and stress-free. Even with the changing plans and the typhoon raging outside, the Aurora Premium Hotel exceeded our expectations. The management went above and beyond to ensure our comfort by handling our bookings efficiently, avoiding the need for room transfers, which was a huge relief given the circumstances. The hotel’s location is ideal, putting us close to key attractions and excellent dining options. Our son absolutely adored the hotel and, in his eyes, it definitely deserves a five-star rating. Zoe and Heidi, our hosts, were particularly noteworthy—warm, welcoming, and incredibly helpful with recommendations. Their hospitality made our stay even more enjoyable, and my son was so impressed that he drew them a five-star rating himself! Solo traveler here. Here is what I experienced. Check in was a breeze. Quick and efficient. Very welcoming and friendly staff. The hotel was clean and well maintained. Few to no cracked, worn down, or old flooring depending on the area. My hotel room had a window that opened to an inner walled airspace. So no view. This was in the booking information. Rooms on the upper floors have outside facing windows and views for more $$$. But the air conditioning worked great to filter and cool the room. Thats OK cause i sleep in the dark. The doors xan be a but thin, so sound will get through. But that happens at all hotels with hallways. The bathroom had no leaks or smells. The elevator is slow and heavily used to get to the nice rooftop bar. But that is to be expected in these older buildings that have done renovations. The lounge areas are clean and comfortable. A friend came on his motor bike to visit me for lunch. He was able to park at the hotel and they chained up his motor bike for safety. Very good service. The location is in the middle of a busy street but was quiet at night. Many places are open late to eat and walk. The old quarter is full of tourist from every country. But a short walk outside the old quarter and you'll find many places that mostly cater to the local vietnamese. Food in this area is very good vietnamese food. I arrived and was immediately helped by the front desk to book tour to Ninh Binh mountains(beware of the hours long shuttle ride from and back to Hanoi). The hotel has very good english speaking staff. Definitely would stay at this hotel again for the service, clean rooms, and friendly staff. Pay a little more for this hotel is recommended. It is on a main street and not located in a traditional vietnamese alley. Taxi and car pick up is easy on a main road.

Aurora premium hotel really made our last 2 nights in Hanoi super chill and unforgettable. We were warmly welcomed upon arrival and offered a variety of refreshments, including sweet treats, dried fruits, and freshly brewed tea. The lobby was elegantly decorated and had a pleasant aroma. The staff was courteous and attentive. The room is adequately sized and contains all the necessary amenities. The furnishings are of high quality. The bed is particularly comfortable and luxurious. The bathroom is spacious and well-maintained. Our breakfast buffet experience was highly satisfactory. They provided a comprehensive and varied selection of food items. The quality was exceptional, with fresh produce and a particularly noteworthy pho dish that exhibited exceptional flavor. The Aurora Hotel's premium and exceptionally clean facilities are its most notable features. The staff is incredibly helpful and professional. We highly recommend this establishment and will definitely book here again.
