During low season , spending time at Diamond beach resort at sea view room type is recommended since the price is affordable and you would not be disappointed. Staffs are nice with smiley faces. Do not expect too much about breakfast, it is not much choices and prone to Thai rather than western or international. But next to the hotel is Winkks bar and restaurant which is very nice for dinner and you can enjoy free Fire Baton show every nights.
The facilities are quite old it could be better if they make some renovation, staff was nice and location was nice too I can still recommend due to its value for money
เดินทางไม่ยาก ห้องโอเค มีเสียงดังจากโรงแรมข้างๆ แต่ถึงเวลา 5 ทุ่มก็เงียบแล้ว ติดอย่างเดียว check-in แล้ว พนักงานแจ้งว่ากุญแจห้อง 204 อยู่ภายในห้องแล้ว เมื่อไปถึงห้อง 204 ก็พบว่ามีคนพักอยู่ เลยไปแจ้งที่ Lobby พนักงานบอกว่า เป็นที่ จนท.พาลูกค้าคนก่อนหน้าไปผิดห้อง ทำให้มีคนอื่นเข้าพักในห้อง 204 เนื่องจาก จนท.ที่พาไปห้องอาจจะยังสื่อสารภาษาไทยได้ ไม่ชัดเจน เลยทำให้พาลูกค้าคนก่อนหน้าไปผิดห้อง พนักงานจึงได้เปลี่ยนเป็นห้อง 205 แทน (ในส่วนนี้พนักงานได้ขอโทษแล้ว) ขอเสนอแนะว่าไม่น่านำกุญแจห้องไปไว้ในห้องก่อน ทำให้ห้องไม่ได้ล็อก และอาจทำให้เกิดความเข้าใจผิดได้ต่อไปได้

Firstly it's my second stay on this beautiful island.my first 2days we fell in love with the island so I looked to stay extra 4days .our first stay was at the green bay I can't praise that hotel enough everything was spotless and the owner and her staff are wonderful happy helpful people. so when we come down to the diamond beach as we paid double price for the same 4night stay right on the beach we were expecting at least the same or better . however we did come down early from our other hotel .the girls on front desk said our room wasn't ready but give us beach towels to go on the beach which was fine they said when it was ready they would let us know . We were laying on the loungers I said to my husband I hope we get that room above where we were . I keeped looking up and at 1.00pm I said I hadn't seen anyone in that room not even a cleaner .at 1.20we deside to go and sit and have ice cream and drink in the front directly in front of the desk so they could let us know. when we could go to the room .The staff were just chatting amongst themselves by 1.55 I said excuse me but is our room ready.thats when we were shown our room the it was the one I had been looking at .we loved the room the balcony and view from our room is amazing.the bed is comfy the pillows not so good for me to puffy .good shower . good power points .the stairway to the room is spiral not a problem for us but could be for some .the water and toilet roll was left outside our room so bins weren't empty because we the sign was not put on the door . The breakfast was awful sorry there's not a lot of options for British people.have egg counter but it's not great I asked for hard boiled eggs both were to soft . nothing is covered either Melon salad and bread amongst others was not covered .The butter I was shown in a small bowl was runny as melted due to heat . The staff definitely could do with some training in hospitality .they need to be happier in their jobs and more helpful in my opinion lacking in quite a few areas that need improvement.
