Good hotel in Phnom Phen ”
The hotel is near the sorya bus station and not far from the night market, national museum and royal Palace. The hotel itself its a bit dated but it offers all the amenities, balcony and the breakfast it's good. I would recommend it.

was a 2nd time i stay in this hotel,because the location was good and easy to travel around the town. Staff was helpful event they don't now how to speck eng. The breakfast was simple but if you want to get a better breakfast like Chinese or western food around the corner there was a lot of store.

my favorite hotel”
Really blessed to find this hotel 2 years ago. This is the third time I stayed here, Love it! The staff (receptionists, bell boys, cleaner auntie, tuk tuk drivers, etc.) are friendly, attentive, helpful and courteous. The rooms I stayed so far are very clean and comfortable. The location is really good, close to central market, exporter outlet (fos, central mall and cx). This trip discovered SAM DOO RESTAURANT nearby hotel which sells many yummie hong kong dishes-dim sum, claypot rice, wanton noodles, cambodia crab, etc. The teachew porridge store at the traffic junction diagonally opposite Sam Doo sells yummie teachiew porridge dishes at reasonable price-it a must everytime I go to Phnom Penh. There is a 24-hour road side convenient stall right next to the hotel where you can get many things including local titbits. The stallholder uncle is very friendly. Really look forward to stay here again during my next trip.

Better bang for the buck nearby”
Decent cleanliness in the hotel. Location is nearby many amenities. Price is legitimate. Everything worked, except that many TV channels were blurry and a few was unviewable. This would be a big deal if someone gets travelers diarrhea and needs to relax in the hotel room. But why the review title? Well, I checked out and went to another hotel called Centrana Hotel a few blocks away. The cost is only a few bucks more. Literally everything in that hotel is new. I could smell the new furniture. Oh yea, check this out, their TV not only has clear channels, but their cable TV went up to around 200 channels instead of about 60 at Diamond Hotel. Better view of Phnom Penh as well. More importantly for me, this hotel is between Sorya Mall and the street filled with bars where I saw plenty of tourists during the nighttime. Oh, unlike Diamond Hotel where it is not well lit during the night, Centrana has bright lights for those who feel safety is a concern. Did I mention it was only $3 more? Yup

Diamond Hotel, Phnom Penh”
We were surprised at how pleasant the hotel was. The old-fashioned wooden furniture and very large room were a welcome change from squeaky-clean contemporary box accomodation. The room was very clean, as was the bathroom. Air-conditioning was good & plenty of hot water in the bathroom. Good international TV. The hotel is situated in a very central part of Phnom Penh in walking distance of Central Market, and easy access to the river area with all its restaurants, and the National Museum etc. The staff were charming and efficient.There is a useful 24 hour shop next door. All in all, very good value for money & I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to anyone who likes slightly old-fashioned accomodation

Good cosy hotel at relatively good location.”
I stayed there for the second time. Last time was deluxe room and this time was superior room. Superior room is much smaller but can be considered just as good. There is clean bathtub, strong water, clean toilet bowl, clean bathroom. Bed is clean...no bugs, no stains but the bedcover needs to be changed bcos it seems too small to cover the whole bed. The lift is quite small but I heard they are upgrading. Overall, Diamond Hotel is not for the budget traveller(unless there is a promo going on) but it is worth the money. Also, you might note that the wake-up call is dependable especially if u need to catch a morning flight. Can't say the same for other hotels.

Hotel location was awesome as its centre of phnom penh, for HALAL FOOD have to walk like around 500m to 1kms. Non Halal - varieties nearby Transport - TUK TUK everywhere Mini mart round the corner (few steps outside the hotel) Breakfast (you get what you paid for), In room - good aircond,spacious room,bathroom amenities basic, have both hot and cold shower. -bed was a bit on the poor side (when you lie down your body hits directly to the spring within the mattress)... -staffs - welcoming and willing to help.. Well, we just wanted a room for an overnight sleep...so 4 stars.... *just a little upgrade on mattress would really be nice as tourist, I wouldn’t want to wake up next day morning with a back ache

Great Location, Helpful Staffs”
The hotel location is great. Walking distance to the biggest market in Phnom Penh- Central Market. You may walk to river front at night too.It takes around 10 minutes walk. Or else, u may catch a Tuk-Tuk if you dont feel like walking. The Hotel is under renovation. I believe it will be even better after they have completed their renovation

Hotel is located a good location. Walking distance to restaurant and shopping mall. Staff was friendly and helpful. If you want to find a place, the staff will provide direction and a map. The room were clean and comfortable with 1 king bed and 1 single bed. I would stay here again if i ever visit Phnom Penh.

It was relaxing”
Our stay at the hotel was pleasant. It´s centrally located. Many touristic spots are within walking distance. Breakfast is included and catered mainly for Asian tourists. Nevertheless, fresh made omelettes are served. Would have been nice to have had bacon to go with it though. Rooms have a Western interior which was to our liking. But bath towels and bed sheet looked quite old/used. These definately need to be replaced! Albeit, everything else in the room was tidy. Hotel staff was friendly and forth coming. Considering that we visited Phnom Penh during peak season and most hotels were fully booked or way more expensive. I´d give the hotel a good price/performance ratio. Thank you to Diamond Hotel for a relaxing stay!
