Ealing hotels & places to stay

After reading other shocking reviews & realising I'd booked non refundable rooms I was dreading arriving here. I'm all for 'you get what you pay for' but a clean bed is a must, so i packed a bag with bedding and off we went. On arrival there were no parking spaces left which we were a bit disappointed about, but luckily as it was weekend we were able to squeeze in on the road. The guy on reception was helpful enough & gave us keys to our rooms. The rooms were very outdated and tired but upon inspection I happily found the bedding & towels to be clean, as was the bathroom (although the shower head was taped up with green & yellow electrical tape). 2 of our party had the basic breakfast of toast, cornflakes, juice & tea/coffee which they said was fine. The location was a 2 minute walk from Ealing Common tube which was great. Would I stay here again? No. But after my worst fears being relieved, it was ok for 1 night.

First time stayed in this hotel. We chose this hotel for easy access to in and out of city and with a car park. The staff are very friendly and efficient. The room decide is modern, very clean and with very comfortable bed. The tube station is right in lifting of the hotel. The bonus was free charging point for my electric car. We highly recommend this hotel and we would stay here again on our next trip to London.

The hotel is quite close to a large selection of places to eat and shops going towards the Ealing Common end of Ealing Broadway. It's a 15 or 20 minute walk to Ealing Broadway tube station but there are plenty of bus services in the area. There is also a closer BR train station. There is no on-site car-park but there is a car park close by behind the hotel which costs 12 pounds per day. Parking in the area between 6pm and 8am is free. I left my car there on and off for 3 days without a problem. There is also a Sainsbury's (supermarket) behind the hotel which stays open late. The rooms were very clean and modern with ensuite shower and a safe. Wifi is free. Breakfast was included and was good with a pretty varied selection. The staff were all very friendly and obliging. I would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel to a friend

My wife and I stayed here for 3 nights for our 20th wedding anniversary, and was delighted with the place. Our room was at the end of the garden (Deluxe Room), which was very peaceful and quiet with an excellent large bed, and a fantastic shower. The room was clean and included a fridge and a microwave. The hotel itself is very well situated, with the centre of Ealing a 10 minute walk away, which has a good selection of shops, bars and restaurants. Ealing Broadway station, also in the centre of Ealing, can be used for District and Central line services into London. However, North Ealing station is literally a 2 minute walk away from the hotel for Piccadilly line services into Central London. The staff at the hotel are friendly and helpful, we arrived at the hotel early and our room wasn't quite ready, but we were allowed to leave our cases there while we went for a walk to check out the area. On arriving back at the hotel, the cases had been already been taken to our room. Great place

The train station was just 2 bus-stops away. and the Park was nearby. As we strolled along, we could find some eateries before the train station. The walk was lovely when we saw some beautiful homes nearby. The English breakfast was tasty and sumptuous and was prepared and served by different courteous chefs & waiters on different days. The room was too small for a couple but the wardrobe was good enough for us. Nothing much to complain as the room rate was just right and value for money.

Comfortable, no room cleanup, with average internet connection. Quiet as it is located in Zone 3, however since it's far, the fare to the city center is more expensive. It's not really a hotel, more like a big house with several rooms for rent. You get to take a main door key copy with you in case you get home late. About 2 minutes from South Ealing station and a block or so away from a Sainsbury grocery store. All in all value for money if you don't mind the distance. It is however a very easy access from London Heathrow and goes straight to St. Pancras if you will do Eurostar because it is in Piccadilly Line. Kitchen/pantry with microwave, ref and toaster is open to all with water heater and complimentary tea/coffee service in the room.

Will definitely use the Crowne Plaza Ealing again when visiting London. Hotel spot on, & although some distance out, this wasn’t an issue as Hangar Lane tube station is 5 mins walk, and Central line is 30mins into the centre. We had an executive superior room (to comfortably accommodate 3 adults), and having read previous reviews wasn’t expecting much from the executive lounge, but it offered a light continental breakfast, and @ 6-7.30pm, canapés, wine & bottled beers so this was an added bonus.

Stayed 4 nights at Caspian Hotel. Having seen a video of this hotel being on Hotel Inspector programme, we expected much better facilities as it looked like it had had a makeover. The breakfast room was fine but the bedooms were old, grotty and in dire need of estoration and decoration. I think it has been taken over by another family as the people there weren't the same as the family I'd read about on the Hotel Inspector programme. Rooms weren't really cleaned properly and we had to ask for towels and toilet rolls. The location was convenient and close to Ealing Broadway station and Ealing town so plenty of eating places etc. Breakfast was limited to cereal, toast, fruits and a few continental bits. The staff there offered eggs for breakfast but only hard boiled!!! One of the communal bathrooms had its ceiling collapse in the middle of the night. One of the other guests heard it and told the hotel owner. Luckily no one was in there at the time! It took a day before they actually closed the door to the bathroom and placed a sign on the door saying 'out of use'! Overall friendly people but hotel (house) in urgent need to upgrade.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND! This is a little gem to stay in. As soon as I walked it, I felt at home and knew I'd made the perfect choice. I had a lovely warm welcome from the friendly manager. All the staff were warm, friendly & helpful. The room & bathroom was super clean, modern & being a single room was big enough to swing a cat. The bathroom was a good size too, with a super powerful hot shower. Everything was provided in the room, fridge, kettle, drinks, lots of plug sockets, flat screen tv, shower gel.....everything...all you need to do is just show up. The breakfast was great, everything for every pallate, fruit, yoghurt, pastries, eggs, beans, toast, cereal, fresh coffee, tea, juice and a sweet little sitting area outside for a fresh morning outdoor breakfast. The hotel provided maps of bus & train routes to help you find your way around easily. Free car park provided, a real bonus for London. Great wifi reception, normally a rarity at other places. Lovely friendly staff in handy local convenience stores that are just across the road. And to top it all the price was a real bargain, you couldn't find a hostel for that cost. What more could you possibly want!!!! :-) The only down side was that if you are travelling by car, is that traffic can be quite bad on the nearby A40 but that's to be expected and it's nothing to do with the hotel. A very very happy guest :-)

I was in London for business and wanted to prioritise a higher level of quality rather than location after having spent time in some really expensive AND shabby city hotels. A 25 minute commute from Victoria you had a nice small part of town called Acton Town with a lot of great small eateries and the rooms were extremely nice. The thing you would expect to find in a five star hotel. Cleaned to perfection every day.

This hotel is literally a minute from the nearest tube station. Me and two friends managed to get to the centre of London in less than 20 minutes from the hotel using the tube. It’s such a relaxing atmosphere, no pressure or stress which is surprising for a city break! There’s cheap places to get quick amenities and food from Tesco Express (opposite the hotel) and even a Costa. The room provided everything we needed and did the job. A little bit small for the three of us, but because it’s an awkward number of guests that’s probably why. The room was nice and clean, the bathroom was great and felt brand new. Big thank you to the cleaners for tidying everything whilst we weren’t there! Breakfast was really good with a nice selection of food and drink. And a special thank you to the staff for welcoming us so warmly and for being so accommodating. They made the stay so much better (especially the breakfast staff)! Also, we stayed here for the BTS concert at Wembley Stadium.

The hotel is excellent value for money. We stayed there to attend an event at Wembley stadium, the location is ideal for this. It is also close to transport networks for sightseeing in the capital. This was our second visit to the hotel, the staff are efficient but are also some of the most helpful and friendly I have come across. On both our visits nothing has been a problem and they go out of their way to make your stay enjoyable, this includes all the staff from management to room cleaning, and the bar staff. The hotel includes parking and wi-fi access in its tariff. The breakfasts are very good and freshly prepared at a reasonable rate. I have no hesitation in recommending this hotel unreservedly and will use it in future.

Booked this hotel for a friend's wedding in Southall so it was the perfect location. Booked a twin room which was clean and a good size. For a budget hotel it was above expectations. Really impressed. 5 mins walk from Southall station and also has parking at the rear (£5 a day) but make sure you get there during the day as in the evenings it may be full due to restaurant customers. The area is full of take aways, restaurants and asian sweet centres. The breakfast is included in price and they had a traditional continental breakfast as well as hot choices on request. Overall, really impressed with what i paid. Value for money.

Small cheap hotel with pre reserved parking, tea and coffee facilities and en suite toilet and shower. A mate and I had a room with twin beds and adequate personal space a tv but no remote. Beds were clean and comfortable. Overall cleanliness was good but corners had been missed and a sheet had been stuffed in the cupboard under the sink? Had we complained I'm sure it would have been resolved quickly. 30 mins walk to the Apollo I would not hesitate to stay here again

Was in town for one night to see Barbra Streisand at Hyde Park, and just needed a place to crash for a few hours and take a shower. Northfields couldn't have been more PERFECT! A GREAT location right across from the Tube Station with a friendly, accommodating staff, clean rooms and bathrooms, and very affordable! Thank you Northfields! I've found my London home whenever I return! 😊
