“A gentle and "healing" getaway!”
All my first experiences here are very good: Staff: the receptionists, security guards/drivers, and everyone working on the premises are very friendly and approachable, always wearing a bright smile 😁 I booked through Agoda, and both check-in and check-out processes were quick. Overall Atmosphere: Since I visited on a weekday, it was quite peaceful around, perfect for relaxation, although I slightly regret that the sky was too cloudy to enjoy the sun both rising and setting 😢 Room: The main reason I "settled" on Fleur is the blue-white color tone, which is very refreshing and easy on the eyes. However, my room did not have a canopy bed ( 😢 I silly wanted to feel like I was sleeping like a princess, but there was nothing of the sort) and the bathroom drainage design was not very practical (it should be designed at the lowest point for better drainage). The sound insulation seems fine since I rarely heard noise, and the TV didn't have Netflix or YouTube :))) The free Wi-Fi was also pretty good, but I equipped myself with mobile data just to be safe. Food: The seasoning ranged from just right to a bit bland, mostly with a light natural sweetness from the ingredients, suitable for all ages, especially the elderly because eating too salty is not good. There were quite a few dishes commonly found in breakfast buffets. Here are my detailed comments on this section: + Fried noodles with char siu: I really liked this dish, the meat was tender, and it was seasoned just right for me among all the dishes I had. + Stir-fried bok choy with oyster sauce, crab soup, mixed fried rice, kimbap, sausages, and bacon were all tasty. + I found that fried sausage eaten with steamed rice rolls was better than regular sausage; the rice rolls were quite cold because they were made a while ago (I prefer them hot). + The watermelon juice made me wish for a larger glass to fully enjoy it 😢 it was very nice to drink, with a light natural sweetness. + For dessert, there was chocolate mousse with cheese, which was absolutely delicious (at first glance, it looked like a B52 glass 😂), soft brownie, moderate sweetness, and the jelly was a bit bland (maybe too much water). + The coffee had two types: Vietnamese coffee and Breakfast coffee, but I didn't find anything special about them. + Tiki Bar: Initially, I thought the cups would be small or medium, but it turned out all the cups were huge 🤣 I was so tired after drinking one cocktail, then I tried a mocktail to soothe my throat 😂 I also noticed there was pho 😗 the menu might change with some dishes daily. => In summary, to describe this trip of mine, the most accurate word for my feeling would be "light":)))) Thank you Fleur for everything!
