I was worried, but the room was very clean and well-organized, which was nice. The staff were also friendly, and the café was charming. It was great for a walk since it was located in the middle of the park.

-Unfortunately, the female staff at reception were not very welcoming. My Agoda booking clearly mentioned that towels were included in the room, but the staff told me it was an error from Agoda and asked me to pay €7 per towel. -In the superior room, the beds were made for us, but in the private deluxe 4-bed room we had to make the beds ourselves. Even basic items like a small floor mat were missing. -Hot water request was inconsistent: male staff gave it for free, female staff charged €1 the next day. -On my second night in the twin room, I found a keycard already left in the power slot. The reception staff explained it might have been from another guest, which didn’t seem possible. I assumed it could have been left by housekeeping, but it still made me feel unsafe. What was more disappointing was the dismissive and judgmental reaction I received, which made me feel uncomfortable as an Asian guest.

“Enjoyed my stay”
I stayed at the Generator Paris, London and Amsterdam, all in the same holiday. Generator Amsterdam was the better/best out of all three by far. The A/C didn’t work properly, which made the room a bit warm but not enough it would be uncomfortable to sleep, unlike G. London which was unbearable and couldn’t sleep at all. The only complain I have is that one of the staff member (don’t know his name and don’t care, he’s a short white dude with a moustache) was an a-hole. While I was getting my food during breakfast time, I was told by one of the girls that the breakfast include a pastry like a croissant, which I took by myself from the box (I thought that was the one included in the breakfast buffet), then proceeded to get my coffee. This guy comes to me, tells me to go pay for the croissant and I said sure, then when I clicked on the coffee maker to serve myself he proceeds to stop the coffee maker and said “I ordered you to go pay for your croissant”. First of all, not even my parents “order” me to do anything, who do you think you are? Second, I was going to pay for it, I was just getting coffee and then getting to the bar to pay, my table was next to it. The attitude of this “man” was just unbelievable, my entire stay he had a rbf, not approachable at all. Other than that, everything was great. I definitely recommend staying here.
