Fabulous little gem of a place . spotless clean rooms where everything has been thought of .even bags to use to take to the beach .also towels and mats . The breakfast is one of the best breakfast we have had in travelling Asia .lots of options eggs cooked fresh for you in your choice.variety of hot drinks including hot chocolate.lovely pool and clean wide loungers .my only thing I would say is the decking gets to hot so can't walk with out anything on your feet .also the steel handles and steps to get into the pool were extremely hot so I didn't manage to use the pool .I think that can be easily solved if they had an umbrella over it . I would definitely come back but if I did I would ask to stay in the front rooms as they have a balcony overlooking the pool and can see the beach . We love the island so much that we have booked to stay another 4nights further up the island .but to be honest if I had realised I could have just stayed here and asked for balcony room . But I guess it's good to see another side to this beautiful small island with it's beautiful beaches .

The hotel is conveniently located on the island, just a one-kilometer walk from the pier, or you can take a tuk-tuk for 20 Thai Baht per person. If you want to go to the pier by private car, it’s 100 Thai Baht. If you don’t have heavy luggage, you can definitely walk there. The main street between the pier and the hotel has many restaurants and massage places, and I go for a stroll every day to buy things at 7-Eleven. Right outside the hotel is a mermaid statue, which is a very recognizable landmark. The staff is very friendly and constantly says thank you. When we checked in, they took five minutes to explain how to enjoy Koh Samet. If you want to go snorkeling, you can book it directly at the hotel; the prices are uniform across the island. In terms of facilities, it may not be as good as some of the more expensive hotels on Diamond Beach, but the price is much lower, so I think the cost-performance ratio is acceptable. The room and bathroom were clean, and the bed was quite comfortable. Breakfast included porridge, noodles, rice, soup, sandwiches, bread, buns, eggs, fruit, salad, and drinks – everything you could ask for. I think the tuna sandwich was the best, and the newly introduced tofu fish ball soup was very fresh. By the way, the hotel also offers free bicycles to ride. We initially thought we could ride to the other side of the island to watch the sunset, but the staff said it wouldn’t work because it would be too tiring. Later, after taking a tuk-tuk, we realized that the road is hilly, and biking would be exhausting, so the bicycles are only suitable for riding to the main street and the pier, which is still nice. The hotel also has kayaks that you can borrow; if you can swim, you can enjoy that. My friend and I can’t swim, so we didn’t dare to go into the water alone. Overall, I am very willing to recommend this hotel to my friends.
