Where to stay in Guadalajara City Center
Guadalajara City Center hotels & accommodations

A very clean and comfortable hotel with an amazing breakfast. The staff are incredibly hospitable and kind, but most do not speak English (best to rehearse a few sentences in Spanish if your not fluent). Only thing missing in this hotel is a pool, then it would easily be a 5 star.

The hotel is located bang in the center of Guadalajara downtown and can just walk out of the hotel into the history of the town. The staff was also great help. The food at the hotel is also great and a lot of restaurants near bye where you can taste the great Mexican food.. a very good hotel a bit old but they doing their very best to make it comfortable for you.

Catering to both business and leisure travelers, the location of this hotel is only a short walk from the central square and other tourist attractions. The non-smoking property has 10 floors with nice views on account of the large windows. The 2 elevators are large and fast, so getting up and down is easy. The modern interiors are very tasteful, and everything seems...

This hotel looks very good and is new and modern in design. However the modern design makes it seem a bit cold and stark. The small three storey atrium design makes sound from everywhere carry and therefore the rooms are a bit noisy. Especially on the ground floor where I could hear everyone in reception whilst in my room. The room is nice, the beds comfortable, t...

Many good basics; however, some problems arose such as toilet not flushing property, weak wi-fi, restaurant closed on Sunday afternoon evening. Good sized room. Great chairs! No other restaurants for other shops open nearby. Quiet. Pool was not very warm.

For those who want to stay at a budget hotel in the centre of Guadalajara, this is a good choice. The hotel (which is actually called Aranzazu Eco Hotel) is popular with Mexican families and groups nad actually has a small, clean, usable swimming pool. The big question is whether to stay in central Guadalajara. Ignore Lonely Planet´s assessment, the city is dirty and...

This hotel has good location in central Guadalajara as most tourist attractions are in walking distance or otherwise conveniently accessible. While some furniture seemed a bit old in my opinion, the building itself is absolutely charming. My standard room was spacious and comfortable, and I enjoyed the flat-screed TV as well as the complimentary bottled water. I als...

The hotel layout is lovely, with the indoor patio. It gets noisy though being in the center, and next to a church that calls to mass with loud bells at early hours. I didn't try the breakfast or restaurant, since there were so many choices available around for delicious Mexican food. The staff was very accommodating as well. Unfortunately I didnt make use of the pool i...

Our stay was nice but it was very noisy due to street traffic on Vallarta St., a major thoroughfare in Guadalajara. Even eleven stories up it sounded like a window was open. Would recommend a suite not facing Vallarta St. The room was quite large which was wonderful as we had lots of luggage and beauty school supplies as the week wore on. It would hsve been nice if...

I'm mixed on to recommend - It's really a beautiful hotel inside... you can see/feel the history. Room was adequate - clean. HOWEVER, biggest negative is no air conditioning in the rooms snd I was there when it was in the high 80's (F) outside... so it wasn't the most comfortable at night. The fan on the ceiling didn't do the job. EXCELLENT location for tourists. Most...

A gorgeous boutique hotel in a good area. It looks amazing. Very comfortable well decorated room, lovely bed, good shower, small bathroom. Missed opportunity with up selling in cafe, bar and restaurant so best to eat and drink elsewhere, staff indifferent to client’s requirements. But the rooms are awesome.

Great breakfast in the hotel restaurant, close to numerous restaurants (local and chain), shopping mall nearby.......overall, a great value for the stay. The room decor could use an upgrade, the beds are a little hard but it had a nice pool and easy access to everything that you need nearby.

I would not stay at this hotel again. The place was a bit creepy. Although no smoking signs are posted, I smelled smoke the entire time. Additionally, there was an abundance of roaches in my room. That's just nasty and entirely unacceptable. The noise from the street kept me awake. I changed to a different hotel the following day. There are better budget options availa...

I rented 2 rooms, one of them smelled really bad (they had to run the water to aliviate the smell), beds were not as comfortable, the pool was not clean. The entire place is very old, I could tell the place once was lovely, but no repairs have been done, there even is mole on the walls, I mean the place held up for 2 nights, if you're only going to sleep and not reall...

Clean, nicely appointed room. Drapes did not function very well. Surprised when we had to pay for toothpaste we had forgotten. For the price of the room you would think they would glady give us some free as other hotels do in the U.S. Bathroom was too small but at least we had plenty of hot water. I write this review as I compare to other hotel rooms I've occupied...

Value for money most definitely - the breakfast alone is a tell of how good and well kept this hotel is. Everyone is very helpful. Our room had a stinky odor but after a while it comes out I guess it’s because of the drainage but overall it’s great! Look for Jose to book the tequila tours and stuff! It’s the best!!!
