What a fabulous place! Kind of hard to find with nothing in the vicinity. But it has a very good and affordable restaurant so one doesn’t need to leave the premises. Only too bad that breakfast is not served until 10.30. The bungalows are beautifully made with eye for detail. Very spacious and clean. Absolutely recommended.
The room is very good, spacious, clean, and has a nice atmosphere. The only complaint is that the walls are a bit thin, so you can hear some noise from the neighboring room, although not too much. If you really want peace and quiet, I recommend getting a different room. Overall, it's worth the price paid.

Restaurant is amazing, right on the river. Rooms are clean, all cement, which is a cold feeling, but good for tropical climate. Don't be over 5'9" or you will hit your head going into the bathroom, major design flaw. Big problem, water flow is like a wet dishrag. You really can't get clean. You will stay in there a long time just to feel as clean as possible. Another big concern, the maid put sheets on the bed that had what looked like bloodstains on them. They were obvious, I can't believe she put them on the bed. Were they actually bloodstains? I don't think so, but that's what they looked like. We just put a towel over them bec. it was late and to get them changed would have been a major hassle, if they would even do it. It's a very small operation. Also, we asked for 2 additional shower towels, and 2 additional pillows. Guess what... we had to pay for them! Never heard that one before. All that being said, we would stay there again. Why? 1st because there are no better choices in the area. Second of all, the price is fair for the area. Third, the sheet problem is unlikely to happen again. So, see you next time we are in Thung Song!
