Heathrow hotels & places to stay

I arrived at Heathrow on Sat, 2:30pm at T1, my connecting flight is next day at 9:30am in the morning at T4, so I decided to book this hotel for convenience. From T1, I took the underground to come to T4 (did not charge anything on the Oyster Card), once arrived at T4 underground, the hotel is well-signed. Follow the signage to the Arrivals level, walk to the end and take a lift to go up to Departure level, then there's a door leading towards a covered pathway (about 5 mins) and it would lead you to the reception of the hotel. The check-in process was smooth, make sure you ask the staff for the free wifi connection password for use in the lobby area (Do NOT enter your room details or else they will bill you), the signal was steady and strong. The single room (Room 184) that I got was quite spacious [compared to the other London hotels that I stayed at] with good lighting and I presume it was a 42 inch LG flat screen TV in the room, it was a joy. Room was clean and I couldn't find anything to complain. Tube from Heathrow T4 to central London, e.g. Oxford Circus took a little more than 45 mins, plus the walking from hotel to the tube, you will be in central London in 1 hour and it's £3.00 for non-peak hour using Oyster Card. I would recommend someone staying at this hotel again if they use T4.

I had a great stay here at the Park Inn by Radisson London Heathrow! I easily got myself from Heathrow airport and caught the Hoppa bus which took me directly to the hotel. The hotel was lovely. My room was large and had a kettle and tea and coffee facilities. I had booked my room on Agoda with a breakfast. That buffet was the best I had in my whole trip around Europe. The variety was outstanding! It was amazing and really delicious. They even had carrot juice! I was transiting here for about 12 hours so i was able to have a great sleep, wonderful breakfast and even made use of the facilities. I enjoyed a workout at the gym, a swim in the pool and a session in the sauna! It was a comfortable, easy and refreshing stay here. I would definitely recommend this hotel for anyone who is transiting at Heathrow. It was a high quality stay for a very good price.

Having arrived early at the Radisson after a long flight we expected to have to wait until our room was ready but the receptionist rearranged our room and let us go to another room that was ready. Room was spacious and bed very comfortable. All staff were friendly and approachable no request too hard. We dined at the restaurant and the food was great. Easy access to Heathrow Airport with bus picking us up from Hotel I would have no hesitation in staying at the Radisson Edwardian Heathrow Hotel again.

I chose this hotel because it is situated within the Heathrow Free Travel Zone. From the bus stop outside the hotel, I can take bus U3 into Heathrow Central Bus Station. To get from Heathrow Central to the hotel, I can take bus 105, 111, 140 or 285. Those with heavy luggage may opt to take the Hotel Hoppa bus for £4.50. Curiously, the hotel entrance is facing inwards, away from the main road. The 4-digit room numbering is also quite confusing. The first digit is actually the block number and the second digit is the floor number. (Perhaps the numbering should change from 1101 to A101, for example.) Our room is clean and quiet. Free wifi is provided, and is accessed with your name and room number. For some reason I couldn't log in with my name and room number, so the receptionist gave me an access code. Upon our check-out, we requested to leave our luggage at the hotel because our flight was at night. But the receptionist declined, citing security concerns. In the end we had to bring our luggage to the luggage storage at Heathrow Terminal 3 (where storing 1 piece of luggage for 2-24hr costs £11!)

I had an enjoyable stay at DoubleTree Heathrow for one night on my transit. The room was spacious and clean and the staff members were most eager and helpful in their service. My booking did not come with breakfast, but I paid £17 for the breakfast anyway because it looked too delicious to pass. Traveling to Central London takes an hour (bus followed by tube), but I'd recommend this hotel to anyone who just needs a great place to stay on Heathrow transit and not planning to base their activities in downtown London. Free WIFI in the lobby.

Our flight was scheduled to arrive at Heathrow at 10:30 p.m. from Chicago. We booked 2 rooms as there are 2 adults and 4 kids in our family. Our apartment for the week wasn't going to be ready until the following day at 2:00. We took the SUPER convenient Hotel Hoppa to the Sheraton. The Sheraton staff put us next to each other and were ready for our late check-in. We ordered room service and had a wonderful stay.

The Stanwell Hotel is a well-hidden gem, certainly well worth the effort of seeking out: in fact my taxi driver had to take two attempts to find it. As a one-night stay near Heathrow airport necessitated by a very early morning flight, the Stanwell was ideal, and in fact it made me sad I only had the one night. The menu in the attractively bright and open restaurant offered an eclectic choice, and the taste was great. The wine list was compact but well-varied, and the service was excellent. The only slight jarring note in the dining room was the music: quasi-classical orchestral versions of pops and standards, interspersed with a true classic piece: for the first 10 minutes, interesting ... thereafter .... intrusive. As for the accommodation side, my single room was rather ... compact ... so for a traveler on a multi-stop trip with several bags, careful planning was required to optimise space. However, the bed was comfortable, and the bathroom immaculately clean. Despite being literally laid alongside LHR, the double-glazing kept noise levels surprisingly low. On the space side next time I'll try for a double, single use. All in all, this is a hotel I'd definitely return to, even as a stand-alone visit rather than a London Heathrow add-on. Excellent service from reception through restaurant and bar to the room staff, and superb value for money. A true hidden gem.

My stay in the Renaissance was for 1 night during my return trip from India. I was flying on to Ireland the following morning. It was a pleasant experience after my long haul flight and baggage delays, just to get to my overnight hotel quickly and be met by staff who attended to my check-in promptly and professionally. The hotel has a bar that serves good quality bar food. This is ideal for the weary traveller. A restaurant is also available. The restaurant looked quite full which I always take as a good sign. The room was clean and well presented, internet access available (at a small charge). The following morning I awoke refreshed, had an excellent full buffet breakfast and then got a taxi to Terminal 1 which only took a few minutes. I opted for the taxi as opposed to the shuttle bus because of the large amount of luggage I had. My stay was a pleasant one and I would definately stay there again on my next overnight in Heathrow.

Nice rooms. Room service is ridiculously expensive. Got some pasta dish for $17. I got about a cup of pasta. Was still hungry afterwards. What's up with that. Pasta is cheap. That was highway robbery plain and simple. I've stayed in hotels in the US that offer free complimentary shuttle to the airport. Not with the London Heathrow Marriot hotel. I paid 5 pounds for the hotel shuttle! This hotel is less than two miles from the airport.

We decided to stay at the Heathrow Novotel to be convenient to our next day's flight home. The hotel is a low-rise structure, somewhat difficult to find in the M4 roundabout maze adjacent to the airport, even with GPS. We landed at a neighboring hotel where a helpful staff member took the time to explain how to make the trip to the almost next door Novotel. The plan was to check-in and then return the car and and return to the hotel via shuttle. I explained this to the desk clerk at check in (I forgot to make note of her name) and after checking me in she helped me to purchase shuttle bus tickets for me and for the two of us the next day. Heathrow does not have individual hotel shuttles, but contracts out shuttle service to National Express, who charges GBP 4.50 (with discounts for round trip and purchase at hotels). She was very helpful. The room is on the small side, but adequate with twin beds and desk space. I would have liked free Wi-Fi, however paid wi-fi is standard for this class of hotel. One architectural note is that the toilet is separated from the sink and tub in the bathroom arrangement. This leads to the possibly unsanitary touching of door hardware in order to wash your hands after using the toilet. The beds were comfortable. We had dinner and breakfast in the restaurant downstairs both were acceptable.

This hotel is conveniently located near Heathrow. It has plenty of restaurants and bars so that you don't have to travel far. The Hoppa bus goes there every 15 minutes, so, it is easy to get there and back to the airport. If you need different places to eat there are pubs and restaurants within a 15 minute walk. Hopp have increased their fares in June. A a couple, we have found it cheaper and much more convenient to book an Uber since it picks you up and delivers you to your terminal without going round the houses (i.e. all other terminals).

excellent hotel. very clean and tidy. the staff are very polite and always greet you with a smile. they are always willing to help you. excellent facilities, free secure car parking covered by cctv, indoor swimming pool, sauna. the rooms are very large and are accompanied by free WIFI, coffee & tea making facilities, satellite TV and a hairdryer. this hotel is an ideal retreat if you are jetting off on holiday and you are flying from London Heathrow. I shall be returning to use this hotel again.

first and foremost a huge thanks to agoda for living up to their reputation in being reliable and efficient! check-in was smooth and we had no problems with any of our reservations. one reason we decided to stay at this hotel was because we did not want to risk missing our early morning flight. check in was smooth. funny thing happened during check in though. i asked one of the receptionists if there were any asian restaurants nearby and she gave me a funny look then proceeded to turn to her colleague and ask him the same question. it was funny because she was obviously of asian descent. heh. anyways, we had booked a room for 3, but when we got into the room, there was only one queen sized bed. we called housekeeping and asked for an extra bed, and one guy arrived a few mins later and proceeded to set it up. big thanks for that. typical hotel room, with everything a 4star hotel has. very comfy beds. be sure to try out the sampan restaurant. the food was great, and service was even better. breakfast was delightful. plenty of selections and the staff were friendly. opposite the gym is a small shop, where you can buy anything from munchies to bags and souveniers. apart from that, the hotel offers shuttle buses to and from heathrow where you can buy your tickets at the lobby or from the bus driver. we stayed there for one night but would definitely return again! thanks holiday inn!

I was 10 days in the hotel because I was relocated by the company to London. I have to say that the locatiion is very good. Busses, very near, tube station just behind, and a nice pub just besides.But not noise at all inside the room. Also there is all Hunslow amenities and shops at 2 mins walk. The hotel is very well kept and the room was fantastic. The service, just perfect. Hemal as manager was always very diligent and precise. The breakfast also very good. The room very clean and will all little things that makes the stance very confortable.

This B & B is a very good find if you are driving. We stayed for a night before our flight. It is situated in a very bleak area near Heathrow Airport but it is an Oasis which has a courtyard guarded by high walls with an automated entrance door. There is nothing around it but a pub. So you probably can walk and eat there. We drove to the nearest town for a meal. It was surprisingly quiet. The room was spacious and has clean and spacious shower room with a good shower. The interior was cheap and basic, but clean and sufficient. Even they gave us complimentary bottles of water in a fridge. English Breakfast was inclusive. It was OK but who can expect with this price. The staff were very friendly. We will definitely stay with them again.

We used this as a "last night" stop so we could return the car and be ready for traveling home the next day. Glad we did as it was an adventure driving to the hotel. Google maps on American phones (at least on both of our phones) was way off, but that is another story. Make sure you are driving to the correct Crown Plaza, there are two at the airport, this one near Terminal 4. We picked it because I was leaving from Terminal 5 and wife was leaving from Terminal 2. The best travel to terminals is to use the hotel taxi service, about 17 pounds. The other options are free but harrowing. The hotel was very nice, clean, staff friendly and helpful. The food was ok for the hotel level. No complaints.

This is great accommodation well located for transit through Heathrow. The place is new but extremely well thought out for what it is suited for. Excellent quality rooms in terms of size, furnishings and flow inside and with a kitchenette this was great for an in house dinner with the kids after a visit into the city. Wonderful staff on check in (Agi) and also on check out. My only comment other than 10/10 would be to warn guests on check in that the check out is 11 am and not 12 noon as normal and also that breakfast is until 9.30 am. Otherwise top marks on the accommodation. Drawback is only the distance from the airport into London city makes travel a bit of a hassle and expensive. We will go back for overnight stays for sure.
