Excellent basic room with all the needs for pre-travel or after to rest. Includes shower facility and comfy room. Booking basic room is without tv but if you want to rest its good enough. Make sure to read what you are booking not just the pictures as some rooms are with and without facilities depending on how much you spend. Always a good place to stay. 5 min bus ride on the free 423 or 7 bus to terminal 5. To get to other terminals just get another free bus from the terminal or get the heathrow express train there which is also free within the terminals only. I left heathrow lodge at 9pm and travelled to terminal 5 and transferred to terminal 2, after which i walked to central bus station for national express coach by 09:30 which is very quick. You cannot go wrong staying here. There is a U3 bus near mcdonald's also free

Room was clean and bed very comfortable. Bathroom with shower cubicle. No bath. No fridge in the room. Extra pillows in room. No air conditioner/ fan provided and window can be opened. 30 min free wifi or £3 for 24 hours which you pay online. There is a lift. No cooked breakfast, only a cereal breakfast box. Cooked breakfast available at adjacent restaurant ? Adjacent to the Two Rivers shopping area, which is behind the Staines pedestrianised shopping area. I did not have a car, but I think parking is expensive and limited by day and free overnight in Two Rivers parking area. Not sure if any parking available with hotel itself. There are plenty of restaurants in Two Rivers and a cinema. Railway Station is 15 -20 minutes or so, walk. Bus interchange is behind the Staines shops. Uber from station cost about £5

We are frequent travelers to London to see family.Our stay at the Ibis was prompted by an excellent "special" online which was better than the great deal we usually get at Premier Travel Inn which is almost next door. Ibis has great Proximity to Heathrow (10 mins by cab/ shuttle for GBP 10) Also close for dropping off rental cars e.g.Budget/Avis. Best saving was unlimited free wifi. Lobby looks welcoming as you walk in. Reception service was pleasant and efficient. Parking onsite free for first 15 mins for dropping off bags. Room compact but clean with all that we needed. Restaurant menu had large choice. In our opinion, meals we have enjoyed at the Premier Travel Inn had the edge on taste but our food was nicely presented and good portion sizes so no complaints. Prices were comparable as well. We would definitely recommend the Ibis for value and cleanliness. We would now be torn between the Ibis and our other fav 'airport' hotel for future trips except for saving extra $$$'s the Ibis would probably get our vote for a return visit. checking-in was quick and efficient. the staff at reception was very helpful with any queries i had especially the bus timetable schedule to heathrow. the standard room booked was of sufficient size and space, all amenities worked. the bar staff were very friendly and service was quick. checking-out was simple, quick and easy. i would stay at the st giles heathrow hotel again.

Probably the best value I've ever come across for a hotel in London. Worked perfectly for an early morning flight out of Heathrow. By the way, to get to/from the airport, don't bother with a Taxi or even the hotel shuttles (they charge £6!). Instead take a local bus from the Centra Bus Station at Heathrow. Say you're going to the Skyline or Raddison, and the driver won't charge you. Lines 105, 111, 140, and 285 will drop you off on the main road (Bath Rd.) right by the Skyline or Raddison, and then you can walk 10 mins up New Road to Apple House.

It was a shame that i arrived late at night and leave early for my morning flight. It is just about 20 minutes by bus to Heathrow Terminal 4... There are plenty of restaurants open till 2300 and a 24 hours supermarket on the main street. I got the 'moody room'.. yes.. each of the room got a name not just numbers... once entered the room i feel like i am in an old granma's british house with modern bathroom and amenities... there are 4 big windows where you can decide the temperature of the room and there are lovely throw and pillows on the bed... they provide a powerful hairdryer also... everything is lovely, just I did not have much time to explore.... will definitely come back if i have the chance...

No good visible signage for the hotel so in the dark was difficult to notice, had to ring the bell to be let in, man who came to the door seemed nervous like it was his first ever check-in (pretty sure he owns and runs the place), got shown to my room, sheets were clean, odd bits of painting gear in the wardrobe and loose wires, carpet didn't look too clean, doors were fitted with small Yale lock which did its purpose of locking a bedroom in someone's house (which is what it is), doors slammed shut so was noisy through the house, window didn't securely shut and didn't block out much noise (May as well have been in a tent in the garden), 1 random paint covered office chair in the corner, bathroom was shared and far from clean, leaking tap in the bath/shower, paint peeling off the walls, hot and cold taps mixed up in the sink ( red on the cold tap). Asked for a glass for some water and was given a cheap plastic cup. Good things: the guy asked me if I needed help with travel in the morning, on arrival asked if I would like tea or coffee (this maybe would have been nice in the morning also), gave an idea of shops in the area for food and could leave the key on the table and leave when you wanted. All in all it was a roof over my head for the night and it had hot water for a wash.

I had an enjoyable stay at DoubleTree Heathrow for one night on my transit. The room was spacious and clean and the staff members were most eager and helpful in their service. My booking did not come with breakfast, but I paid £17 for the breakfast anyway because it looked too delicious to pass. Traveling to Central London takes an hour (bus followed by tube), but I'd recommend this hotel to anyone who just needs a great place to stay on Heathrow transit and not planning to base their activities in downtown London. Free WIFI in the lobby.

I chose this hotel because it is situated within the Heathrow Free Travel Zone. From the bus stop outside the hotel, I can take bus U3 into Heathrow Central Bus Station. To get from Heathrow Central to the hotel, I can take bus 105, 111, 140 or 285. Those with heavy luggage may opt to take the Hotel Hoppa bus for £4.50. Curiously, the hotel entrance is facing inwards, away from the main road. The 4-digit room numbering is also quite confusing. The first digit is actually the block number and the second digit is the floor number. (Perhaps the numbering should change from 1101 to A101, for example.) Our room is clean and quiet. Free wifi is provided, and is accessed with your name and room number. For some reason I couldn't log in with my name and room number, so the receptionist gave me an access code. Upon our check-out, we requested to leave our luggage at the hotel because our flight was at night. But the receptionist declined, citing security concerns. In the end we had to bring our luggage to the luggage storage at Heathrow Terminal 3 (where storing 1 piece of luggage for 2-24hr costs £11!)

Picking up friends at Heathrow after a long flight and this was close to the Safestore where they left their luggage for a few days of touring. I booked far enough in advance to get a good deal, and check-in at midday was very convenient for their morning arrival. Parking on the premises was very welcome. The hotel is clean, bright and comfortable and the staff very friendly and helpful. Although near a busy intersection, it is well insulated from street noise. The shower was over the bath, which is normal but not suitable for me. I would recommend it for its reasonable price so close to Heathrow.

This is a very convenient airport hotel within walking distance of Avis / Budget Heathrow car rentals. Despite being near the runway threshold I heard no aircraft noise while in my room. The rates are reasonable although the single rooms are a little small and taper because of the shape of the building. The front desk staff were great as were the bar staff and waitresses. The rooms have everything you would expect from a Holiday in although because of the transient nature of the guests staying there the furniture in the rooms is starting to show signs of wear and tear. I would definitely use the hotel again when transiting through Heathrow.

As an artistic person, I couldn't have chose a better place to stay. Everything about the Hotel including, the exterior and interior design provides a positive stimulation. The color coordination and theme are perfect and inviting. The staff are cool but at the same time professional. Other than being the perfect environment for both creative minds and regular travelers , it's a well run and looked after hotel. It surely holds its own as one of the best hotels in the area. As an individual that's in an out london around the clock I find myself leaving in hotels a lot. Now it's not that it's possible for me to stay elsewhere, there is surely no hotel like Moxy. It is a different concept compared to standard hotels and Marriott are definitely on to something with this one. You can only judge the place after staying there, give it a go.

excellent hotel. very clean and tidy. the staff are very polite and always greet you with a smile. they are always willing to help you. excellent facilities, free secure car parking covered by cctv, indoor swimming pool, sauna. the rooms are very large and are accompanied by free WIFI, coffee & tea making facilities, satellite TV and a hairdryer. this hotel is an ideal retreat if you are jetting off on holiday and you are flying from London Heathrow. I shall be returning to use this hotel again.

The Stanwell Hotel is a well-hidden gem, certainly well worth the effort of seeking out: in fact my taxi driver had to take two attempts to find it. As a one-night stay near Heathrow airport necessitated by a very early morning flight, the Stanwell was ideal, and in fact it made me sad I only had the one night. The menu in the attractively bright and open restaurant offered an eclectic choice, and the taste was great. The wine list was compact but well-varied, and the service was excellent. The only slight jarring note in the dining room was the music: quasi-classical orchestral versions of pops and standards, interspersed with a true classic piece: for the first 10 minutes, interesting ... thereafter .... intrusive. As for the accommodation side, my single room was rather ... compact ... so for a traveler on a multi-stop trip with several bags, careful planning was required to optimise space. However, the bed was comfortable, and the bathroom immaculately clean. Despite being literally laid alongside LHR, the double-glazing kept noise levels surprisingly low. On the space side next time I'll try for a double, single use. All in all, this is a hotel I'd definitely return to, even as a stand-alone visit rather than a London Heathrow add-on. Excellent service from reception through restaurant and bar to the room staff, and superb value for money. A true hidden gem.

Summary: overseas travellers on long haul flight can hit the shower and bed almost immediately after landing. No need to worry about catching flight home as well as hotel is only 3 tube stations away, and only 150m from Hounslow Central. Plenty of phone shops that are able to install cheap local sim plans. Halal food aplenty and quite cheap (for London). Many provision shops and Asda 24-hrs superstore. Hounslow town centre is abt 200m where one can find the Treaty Shopping Centre, high street shops of familiar brands (Primark, Argos, Boots, Sports Direct). Great for pre flight luggage fillers. Highly recommended for budget travelers looking for convenience of halal food.

first and foremost a huge thanks to agoda for living up to their reputation in being reliable and efficient! check-in was smooth and we had no problems with any of our reservations. one reason we decided to stay at this hotel was because we did not want to risk missing our early morning flight. check in was smooth. funny thing happened during check in though. i asked one of the receptionists if there were any asian restaurants nearby and she gave me a funny look then proceeded to turn to her colleague and ask him the same question. it was funny because she was obviously of asian descent. heh. anyways, we had booked a room for 3, but when we got into the room, there was only one queen sized bed. we called housekeeping and asked for an extra bed, and one guy arrived a few mins later and proceeded to set it up. big thanks for that. typical hotel room, with everything a 4star hotel has. very comfy beds. be sure to try out the sampan restaurant. the food was great, and service was even better. breakfast was delightful. plenty of selections and the staff were friendly. opposite the gym is a small shop, where you can buy anything from munchies to bags and souveniers. apart from that, the hotel offers shuttle buses to and from heathrow where you can buy your tickets at the lobby or from the bus driver. we stayed there for one night but would definitely return again! thanks holiday inn!

We decided to stay at the Heathrow Novotel to be convenient to our next day's flight home. The hotel is a low-rise structure, somewhat difficult to find in the M4 roundabout maze adjacent to the airport, even with GPS. We landed at a neighboring hotel where a helpful staff member took the time to explain how to make the trip to the almost next door Novotel. The plan was to check-in and then return the car and and return to the hotel via shuttle. I explained this to the desk clerk at check in (I forgot to make note of her name) and after checking me in she helped me to purchase shuttle bus tickets for me and for the two of us the next day. Heathrow does not have individual hotel shuttles, but contracts out shuttle service to National Express, who charges GBP 4.50 (with discounts for round trip and purchase at hotels). She was very helpful. The room is on the small side, but adequate with twin beds and desk space. I would have liked free Wi-Fi, however paid wi-fi is standard for this class of hotel. One architectural note is that the toilet is separated from the sink and tub in the bathroom arrangement. This leads to the possibly unsanitary touching of door hardware in order to wash your hands after using the toilet. The beds were comfortable. We had dinner and breakfast in the restaurant downstairs both were acceptable.

Fantastic!! Rooms are immaculate, big thumbs up to the house keeping team. Reception staff and bar/cafeteria staff are always willing to go above and beyond to help you no matter what time of the day it is. Its a fab hotel, I love it. I've stayed twice and hope to return many times. I love when I hetna room overlooking the runway to Heathrow too but even of I don't, I still enjoy my stay very much. I hope all the staff get to read the reviews because they deserve all the thanks they get and more! They do an amazing job and are a credit to the hotel :) xx
