“The best for family trips and filial piety trips.”
I went with my parents and elderly relatives! We stayed three people in a room with four beds. (Total of 2 rooms) There are not many places near Susukino where three people can stay in a spacious room. Even if there are, they are too expensive... This place offers a good price and is about a 10-15 minute walk to Susukino, which was nice for digestion after meals. Sapporo itself is completely flat, and there is a direct path from Susukino to the hotel through the Tanukikoji shopping arcade, so even our 80-year-old grandfather was able to walk around comfortably. The room was really spacious and the beds were so nice that they were very happy! The beds were among the best I've experienced in the hotels I've been to. At first, I worried because there weren’t many pictures, but it turned out to be unnecessary. The bathroom and toilet were completely separate, which was more convenient, and there was a large public bath that we used well. They provided plenty of towels in the room and changed them daily, so we had no shortage, and the shampoo and rinse available in the room were so good that I wanted to buy them but regrettably didn’t get the chance. The hotel staff were all very friendly, and they were very responsive to any issues, so we experienced no discomfort! We rented a car, and the parking tower staff were also all kind. There’s a convenience store right in front of the hotel, and a grocery store attached to it, which was great. If there is a downside, it's that the new building and the old one are separated, and you can only cross over through the lobby on the first floor, but our room was in the new building while the public bath was in the old building, which made moving a bit inconvenient. Nevertheless, the elevator was very fast, so it wasn’t a major drawback.
