Superb Service”

My wife and I stayed at Holiday Inn & Suites Makati for a night before going home to Bacolod City the next day. Together with us are some friends but one of them she is not feeling well and was able to deeply sleep in her room. A friend of our kept calling her room but no one was answering the phone in the room. She notified the hotel and inform their hotel manager ( I forgot to get her name). The manager decided to accompany us to our friends room with together with their security staff. We discovered that she was alright and just had a deep sleep because she was tired and not feeling so well. Then the hotel manager ask our friend if she want the assistance of their hotel nurse, our friend gladly accepted the offer and was impressed with the service given to her. To the hotel manager, sorry I forgot your name but I deeply appreciate your service and professionalism. We were checked-in last July 28, 2018 rm724. I highly recommend Holiday Inn & Suites Makati.

A truly relaxing and comfortable stay ”

Our stay at the Holiday Inn Makati was truly a relaxing one. The hotel is situated beside the newly renovated Glorietta wing which bring utmost convenience for the hotel's guest. Its location provides easy access to the shopping mall where one can shop, dine, watch a movie, or just stroll around. The lobby floor of the hotel is on the 4th floor. The front desk, Flavors (its main restaurant), and the lobby bar can be found here. The check in process is okay, it's not as quick or has a clear line for queuing so this could be a little confusing when people suddenly arrive at the same time. Luckily that was not the case during our stay. The hotel offers a special price of 2,000Php that already includes a breakfast buffet for 2 and access to the Club Lounge at the 19th floor (which provides snacks and refreshments during the morning and afternoon). A good deal if you've got nothing much to do. One thing I'm happy to note is that the hotel was built for the guest in mind, outlets were to locate and the room was spacious as advertised. There are two pillows provided: soft and firm. So, it is up to the guest to choose on which one to use. It was just unfortunate, we were not able to take a dip in the swimming pool located at the roof deck due to the bad weather during the weekend. Nevertheless, the great breakfast perked us up and we just relaxed by watching TV in the room before we had our room for check-out. Unlike in other hotels, the valet parking is free for the hotel guest (as it should be), no hidden charges or separate payment for the valet. I hope Holiday Inn Makati would be able to sustain and maintain its level of service and attention. I highly recommend this hotel for those looking to stay or have business to attend in the Makati area.

Great location and great hotel”

I had a very pleasant stay at Holiday Inn Makati over the weekend. The room was fantastic as it was very clean and very modern. The bed was so comfy and I loved the option of having a soft or firm pillow! However, I booked a smoking room, but upon check-in, the room wasn't even ready yet (and I had even arrived later than expected), so I had to be put in another room temporarily where I could freshen up. This didn't really bother me too much, but it may bother other guests if it happens to them. Also, when I finally got the smoking room that was originally booked for me, the room smelled heavily of smoke. I understand that it is a smoking room, but it could do well to have the room thoroughly cleaned despite this fact, especially as I am a non-smoker but my partner is. Luckily it wasn't the bed that smelled, but I think it was the carpet, so maybe a quick steam clean before the guests are moved into it would be good. Anyway I gave the room a quick spray of perfume, and eventually the smell went away. Otherwise, despite my short stay at Holiday Inn, I was very impressed with the quality of the room and hotel. I have stayed at a few Holiday Inns around the world, and I have to say that Holiday Inn Makati is probably one of the nicest.

Cozy, new hotel”

Holiday Inn & Suites Makati is a new hotel built in the heart of Makati's shopping district. It is directly linked to Glorietta and a few minutes walk from Greenbelt and SM Makati. There are several other hotels in the area but in terms of access to Glorietta Mall, it is the closest. If you are visiting Makati to do some shopping, this hotel is highly recommended. Furthermore, this hotel is new so the facilities and rooms are really clean.

Comfortable stay on top of a shopping mall”

We had an excellent stay at Holiday Inn and Suites. Our room was comfortable and clean. This made me extend our stay for another night. Check-in and out was fast. We felt the friendliness and sincere smiles of the staff. Airport shuttle is also available upon request and is more affordable compared to nearby 5 star hotels. I find the breakfast at Level 4 to be nothing special but still okay. I will recommend this hotel to those who will be staying in Makati for business or shopping, as this property is centrally located in business district as well as direct access to Glorietta Mall. Greenbelt Mall is also located nearby. Booking a room with club lounge access is highly recommended.

Amazing staff, great location”

This was my third time in Manila and I returned to stay in Holiday Inn, Makati once again. There are many great things about this hotel, it is close to the airport, in the CBD area, next to various restaurant in greenbelt and malls namely Glorietta's and Rustan's. The food options in the restaurants are good and the gym is well maintained and has good facilities. The best part however is the staff, I travel around the region and the staff here is probably the best and most helpful, I have seen till date. Even if all other facilities were bad, I would return to this hotel just for the staff...they are simply the best !!!! The in house spa is nice and the masseuse are skilled. Now just for the sake of giving some suggestion...The food options at the roof deck can be improved a bit.

More than Holiday Inn”

Holiday Inn is a wellknown hotel in the world needless to say, however, this hotel in Makati is a brand new and superior than the Holiday Inn I have experienced in the USA. I would recommend this Holiday Inn for the traveller who is looking for an accomodation closer to the hotel one class higher but do not wish to spend for same. I stayed for a business purpose this time and requesetd for a company rate as it is rather expensive compared with normal Holiday Inn if I will stay there for longer periods.

Breakfast Menu Improvement especially on a weekend. ”

It was indeed a good stay for me what disappoints me is that on a Sunday, i think the breakfast menu should really be good especially at its rate 1,248 if i not mistaken, the basic like corned beef, beef tapa, tocino, danggit, red hotdog are not there. the chicken longganisa is also disappointing. the dilis is not that good in terms on its doneness its overcooked and the taho refill is very disappointing because we are not late for our breakfast but yet the tahoo is one time big time serving ? When there is nothing left even if its not 10am or earlier its over. Well sad life for the taho lovers especially for the kids. I think like other hotels there is separate tray for ready scrambled eggs and it should not be asked from the omelet station. I think the rate should not be at far from the taste and its price. Its really a no match compare to novotel wide breakfast menu which i think their for breakfast lower compare to holiday inn but ill double check. But thank u holiday inn such a great stay with you but pls improve. I remember why i booked a room because 1 of the good things is your food i don't what happened because when had our mid year sales conference (corporate) the food is spectacular from breakfast -dinner on 4 days stay there.

its My first tried staying in Holiday In Makati. even thought my self holiday In member. Holiday Inn and Suites Makati is new ! about 1 year Old operation. My booking is standard single room but they give me a up grade to deluxe . room size is spacial but over looking Roof top !! ha..ha..that what will you expect when staying in city hotel . as mall is just a foot step outside the main entrance . GreenBelt is walking distance about 10 minute. even thought is connected ! but One thing s for sure ..you will have plenty of restaurant and shopping store and cinema just near by ! you will never get bore staying here ....

Nice Staffs and Great Location”

Holiday Inn Makati has always been my favorite choice when I travel to Manila. The location is just perfect with connecting door to Glorietta Mall and lots of coffee shops and eateries around. I want to thank Mr.Emman who I believe was the housekeeping supervisor who apologized about the coffee in the room which was not refilled properly. Mr.Emman went to my room and gave me the most beautiful and tasty chocolates. It was a very nice gesture. Will be back for sure.

I was impressed by the design of the new Holiday Inn, which is located centrally within the busy Makati business district of Manila. Walking distance to good restaurants & shopping - also good access to the airport. Attentive and friendly hotel staff made my stay an enjoyable one.

I would like to commend the staff at Holiday Inn and Suites Makati for arranging the small greeting and surprise cake for my parents on their 50th Wedding Anniversary. I expected a small sign but they prepared that and a delicious cake in the room.

Excellent hotel in a great location”

If you need to stay in Makati then this is an excellent choice. It is up to the standards of the best hotels in Manila, but it costs quite a bit less. The rooms are very clean and kept in good repair. There is a nice big TV with lots of channels in various languages. There are even various easy access TV inputs if you want to hook up an external device to the TV. The bathroom comes with all the soaps and shampoos and they are all replaced with new ones every day. The cleaning service is outstanding. I left some dirty clothes on the floor and when I returned to the room they were all picked up and neatly folded for me. The pool is on the roof and is nice, but nothing special. There are plenty of lounge chairs with shade if you want to relax by the pool. The food and laundry prices are very high so we just ate out which is very easy because the hotel is connected to the Glorieta Mall. If you like top-notch hotels, but don't want to pay $200+ a night, then this is an excellent choice.

Clean room and great location”

First time to Manila and also our first time stay in Holiday Inn hotel. The room is spacious and location is near major shopping centre. One bad thing was that we were looking for the lobby to check in. Stated in the directory of the hotel that the lobby is on the L floor. But when we got into the lift, there isn't a L floor button. The level you should look for is the 4th floor. As we only stay for one night, the area is too much for us to finish exploring. The hotel is near the MRT too. Generally a satisfied stay. :)

One word me and my family definitely coming back to Holiday Inn, it was a great experience staying there, and the staff is friendly and very clean, and i love the safety and the security, i stayed there with my two young kids every night i left them at the hotel for me and my wife spending together outside, we just tell the receptions where our kids is stayed at the room, and they promised will be looking at their safety, that's why i love this Hotel so much, we will definitely coming back to Holiday Inn and i miss Holiday Inn already.

Top notch service in a location so convenient”

Holiday Inn & Suites Makati's primary strength is it's fantastic service. I asked for an early check-in and I didn't receive any if's and but's - just a ready smile and a ready room for me to drop my bags and freshen up for my meeting! What a breath of fresh air from staff who are typically ruled by the book. Everyone was so courteous and the room was pleasant every day. And with the hotel's direct access to Glorietta, what else is there to ask for?
