    Hostal don Felipe is an old style house, recently renovated, located in Guadalajara, just 400 metres from the University of Guadalajara and a few blocks from the American Consulate. Free Wi-Fi access is available, and there is a shared, equipped kitchen. This hostal is 2 km from Guadalajara Cathedral and just over 2 km from the José Cuervo Express train.     Amazing place to stay! ”

    We booked for two nights but ended up staying for a whole week! The family running the place is absolutely amazing! They went out of their ways to make us feel at home. They are all super friendly, helpful and so much more. The place is super clean and within walking distance to restaurants, cafes and bars. We would definitely recommend staying here if you are looking for a quiet place surrounded by a lovely family!

    Staff, location, comfortable bed

    My stay was very pleasant except for a roommate. He appeared to be working locally at night so he came in late, was noisy, and drunk once. The owners did invite me to dinner with them one time which was very nice of them. There was no breakfast included in the price.
